Antique 18th Century Derby or CHELSEA 5 3/4" Putti Cherub Figurine PROVENANCE
This auction is for a Rare Antique 18th Century Putti Figurine circa 1750- 1800. The figurine measures approximately 5 3/4 inches high. The figurine is marked on the bottom with collection stickers- it has two generations of collection stickers- the most recent collection was the MacHarg Collection and the one previous was the Ex Luccock Collection dated 28/1/43. The figurine has suffered some damage over the years- it has damage to two of the birds in the nest and a crack in part way through the nest plus some minor chips to the leaves and flowers- please see close-up photos. The figurine exhibits three dirty looking circles on its base- for those possibly not as familiar with the early figurines. It is in overall good condition with old professional restorations. The head is re-secured and there is a repair to the arm. Other restorations made to the bulls horns and ears. Antique 18th Century Germany Hochst Porcelain Figurine Lady Holding A Fan
This is a nice old German porcelain figure signed on the bottom. Condition all seems to be good except on the base I don't know if the finishes off on the top of the base or if its original to the piece. There are no chips cracks or repairs that icy. Just the roughness on the paint. It measures 5 inches tall. Buyer pays shipping.
