LARGE 18th CENTURY DERBY PORCELAIN FIGURE RANELAGH DANCER c1770 Presented is a Derby porcelain figure from England that dates to circa 1765-70! This figure is most likely of a famous leading actor of the time. We believe it is part of the Ranelagh Dancers of Derby because of the placement of its hands and posture. The figure is holding a posy in his outstretched hand. On a scroll-molded base. Flowery, leafy branches are on both sides of him. He is wearing a green and red cape over a white shirt with a yellow rim and red, blue, and yellow flowers. He has brown eyes and black hair. The condition is excellent. There are some flakes to the paint/glaze( the worst of which is shown in the last photograph to part of the green cape) and many of the leaves and flower petals have ... morebroken off. His left hand was broken off and has been repaired. The fingers on his left hand have also been repaired. Please see the photographs below. His hat has been repainted in the front and what appears to have been feathers or leaves on his hat have broken off. There are a couple of natural fissures that occurred in the making. The glaze has flowed into these and they should not be considered damage. One is on his shoulder over the green cape, and the other is along his pigtail. The figure stands 13 inches high. The bronzecandleholders measure 15” across. 8” wide, and 8 ¼” high. They hold candles7/8” or narrower. These exquisitecherubs are in perfect condition. Except for some petals chipped on a tinyflower(approximately 1/64 th inch) magnified closeup pic shown) Thesecherubs radiate a certain quality of loveliness. Innocence and purity beyondany modern counterparts. Thebronze metal candleholders are marked on the bottom“Made in France” and thefigurines were probably attached to them sometime in the last 100 years. Brief history: Duke Carl Eugen Von Wurttemberg founded a porcelain factory in Ludwigsburg. Wurttemberg in1758. The factory was called Herzoglich Aechte Porcelain Fabrique(Ducal RealPorcelain Factory) and was also known as Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur(RoyalPorcelain Factory) The factory produced very fine figurals and otherporcelains. Vintage Cordey Figurine of Lady Wearing 18th Century Gown with Lace & Roses
I am selling a beautiful ceramic figurine from Cordey- of an elegant lady. Her hair piled up on her head and held secure with a pink rose and lavender ribbon- her 18th century gown embellished with ruffled lace- all supported by a rococo-inspired base, enhanced by gilding. Height is 11 3/8" Condition is close to excellent- just some losses to lace ruffles on front(see photos 6& 7) and a small loss to lace on reverse. Still stunning!

RARE 18th Century Ludwigsburg German porcelain figure
This figure is shown in 18th century court dress. She is four inches high and width is six inches. Purchased in England by me at an antique fair in England. When purchased there were two flaws which are shown in the photos, left arm is missing from the elbow down, and on the back of the dress at the hem is a small chip. Figure is particularly unusual in that it has petticoats, legs and shoes under the main dress. The makers mark shown was used between 1764 and 1793.

Antique 18th Century Derby or CHELSEA 5 3/4" Putti Cherub Figurine PROVENANCE
This auction is for a Rare Antique 18th Century Putti Figurine circa 1750- 1800. The figurine measures approximately 5 3/4 inches high. The figurine is marked on the bottom with collection stickers- it has two generations of collection stickers- the most recent collection was the MacHarg Collection and the one previous was the Ex Luccock Collection dated 28/1/43. The figurine has suffered some damage over the years- it has damage to two of the birds in the nest and a crack in part way through the nest plus some minor chips to the leaves and flowers- please see close-up photos. The figurine exhibits three dirty looking circles on its base- for those possibly not as familiar with the early figurines. This is for TWO figures. These are two Meissen porcelain figurines dressed in elegant 18th century French costumes. The lady is outfitted in a charming ruffled blouse with pink corset. Gathered flowered peplum and flowing pastel blue skirt with peach border, and is holding a flowered portrait hat in one hand and waving with the other; the gentleman is bowing, with a flowered tricorn hat in his hand, and is dressed in a pink-lined light blue waistcoat, vest with jabot, flowered knickers, and white stockings with heeled shoes. Both figurines are displayed on a textured raised round base embellished with flowers, with the gentleman supported by a rustic tree trunk. Minor chips on the base of the gentleman where the figure would actually touch the tabletop, and the index finger of the left hand of the lady is missing, but since this hand is below the flowered hat, it is not noticeable at all(please see the photos) They are both very tall, a little over 16 inches, and are 6.5 inches wide and again 6.5 inches deep. The pair stand at just on 13 inches in height and not quite 4 inches at the widest point. The feminine figure carries a pipe or flute. The mail carries a white dove in one hand and a dove on a ring in the other. A Chinese styled bird house sits at his feet. The dove in his right hand appears to be missing about a 1/4 inch of it's tail? Vintage Early Borghese Handsome 18th Century Style Couple~13" tall~Charming.
A striking pair of Vintage Borghese statues. The woman appears to be selling fruit;carrying a basketful. While the man is offering a fish in his hand and a finely detailed net is cascading over his arm. They are incredibly detailed and have an unusually attractive appearance as you can see when you examine the high definition photos. As with other very old chalkware statues. There is some damage to be seen. The man is relatively unscathed with a small chip on the top of his hat and a small spot off his jacket at the upper back. The woman has a chip from her hat, and on the base,to the right of her feet and damage to one wrist and all fingers. They are blue-eyed and have blonde hair. I have not seen that hair and eye color combination in other Borghese matched statues that are currently available. There are later Borghese available that do ... morenot have such fine detail as these. Their faces have a life-like appearance and so do their costumes. Which are richly colored. The statues both have old Borghese original paper labels on the bottom. Because chalkware is plaster of sorts, there is almost always some damage on the truly old pieces. Since the look is purposely distressed, repairs could be done by a talented person and would not look out of place. The quality is unmistakeable. 18th Century Vienna Porcelain Figural Group Eighteen Century Vienna Porcelain Figural Group This is an 18th century Vienna porcelain figural group featuring three Putti playing musical instruments. One is playing the cymbals. Another the harp and the last the flute. The cherubs are modeled in the Meisen style and have the under glaze blue bee-hive mark on the bottom. The figurine is from around the late 1700'Southey are scadly clothed and appear to be having a good time. A floral arrangement surrounds the bottom. The group measures about seven inches high and five inches wide. It is in excellent shape with all fingers accounted for.

Frankenthal Porzellan Porcelain 18th Century Couple and Boy Picnic As-is
Late 1700's Frankenthal porcelain figurine depicting a couple on a picnic and a boy sitting with doves behind them. Unfortunately this piece does need repair however the main body is in good condition without paint loss. It looks like there was originally a tree in the middle that was broken off. The mans extended arm is broken off. His hat is broken, there is a chip to the front of her hand and the fingers of her hands over the plate are broken. There is a chip to the corner of the table in front of them. All damage is closely photographed Even with this damage. Pair of 18th Century Porcelain Cherub Figurine and French Bronze Candleholders
These cherubs radiate a certain quality of loveliness. Innocence and purity beyond any modern counterparts. One holds a sheaf of wheat and a sickle, and one holds a basket of grapes and a gold goblet. They seem to be saying, A loaf of bread and a jug of wine. The easily-removable porcelain figurines measure 7" high and 3" diameter at the base. The elaborate bronze candle holders measure 15" across. 8" wide and 8 1/4" high. They hold candles 7/8" or narrower. These exquisite cherubs are in perfect condition, except for two tiny petals chipped on a flower- see magnified closeup pic- the chips are approximately 1/64th inch. These items weigh just over 2 pounds each. The bronze metal candle holders are marked on the bottom"Made in France" and the figurines were probably attached to them sometime in the ... morelast 100 years. Some of the gently restored ceramic flowers on the"vines" of the candle holders have been chipped and I will provide the few remaining flowers which could also be repaired and added back on. The holders were once wired to hold small electric flame bulbs with cardboard supports which looked like candles. The electrical wiring was removed so they could again be used to hold candles if desired. I also saved the hardware if one wants to put in new electrical wiring. Do not be deceived by the new-looking mark on the bottom of the cherub figurines- a blue crown over double C mark. I believe this mark was fabricated and stamped by whomever created the"made in France" lamps. There are other indecipherable. Green markings which were probably the original marks from a German porcelain factory. The cherub figurines are quite old, perhaps from the 1700's, Ludwigsburg or Kronenburg, KPM or Augustus Rex also had green markings. An expert could probably recognize these pieces by their style. Please note that this item is not returnable. Not shipped for inspection. They are very fragile and will be shipped fully insured by USPS.

He has all his fingers, too, and no repaired parts. The felt bottom has come loose to reveal a signature or title in gold paint, but I cannot read what it says. The painting and colors are very detailed and both have a shiny glaze finish with gold highlights. The colors are mainly blue and pink with a bit of pink for the roses on the lady's dress. The lace on each figurine is finely open and trimmed in gold. We did not find a mark on these but suspect they are Japanese from the style of painting. These come from c. 1940s for a time period. They are 8 inches tall and 3.5 inches at widest point. They stood on my wife's aunt's shelf for many. Many years. She gave them to my wife years ago and we have enjoyed them since. Mid 1700's Meissen Ludwigsburg Figurines. These pieces are absolutly Outstanding. The beautifully hand painted and highly detail pieces where and still are the best in porcelain figurines. These pieces where at the Antiques Roadshow when it was in Jacksonville fl. June 8, 2013. They are Duke Ludwig and his Wife, Elisabeth of Badendurlach. They are dressed late 17th century style. He was first approached to start the porcelain factory, but did not. The next Duke did in 1758. This factory closed in the early 1800's, so pieces are limited. These are 9 1/2" tall and almost perfect. Two small Kiln melts, one on the back of the bottom of the cape and the other on the ruffle part of the pants by the swords handle. This is an antique. Victorian bisque vase/ planter- very popular in the late 1800s. It is a young man, dressed in 18th century clothing, leaning against the blue vase part. No damage that I can see. The gold enameled dots look good too. The number"10" is written on the bottom, though I suspect this is less of a maker's mark, and more likely an estate sale or auction mark, but I have no idea. There are no other maker marks, but I suspect it is of german origin. I was told it could be Conta and Boehme, but I don't know about that. Rare Set of 4 18th Century English Bow China Soft Paste 4 Seasons Figures No Res, I have been fortunate enough to have purchased this group of four soft past 18th century porcelain figures by the Bow porcelain works of England. The figures represent the four seasons. Each is of a cherub like figure with the appropriate accoutrement's for the season he represents. The figures each measure approximately 7 1/2 inches or 19 cm tall. Each of the figures sits on an elaborate base. The bases are decorated with many applied flowers. Fruits and other vegetation. Spring holds a basket of flowers. Summer a basket of grapes. Fall harvesting wheat and winter trying to warm himself with a brazier. The porcelain is also decorated in parts with applied gold. Besides their rarity what helps set these figures apart is their condition. There are some minor ... morelosses to the flowers leaves etc but overall these figures are in a condition rarely found. Almost perfect with no restoration. Each figure is signed on the back with a bow mark in red. As a note: I was very tempted to sell these figures individually but I have decided to keep them together as I did not want to be the one that broke up their two hundred and fifty year relationship! Nymphenburg Beautiful Blanc De Chine Figurine 18th Century Aristocratic Lady
This beautiful porcelain figurine was produced by Nymphenburg in the 1950's or early 60's. She is an 18th Century Aristocratic Lady with her fan. The applied detail to her dress is amazing. She stands approximately 7in tall and her flowing dress is 8in wide. She done in the unpainted or"Blanc de Chine" finish. There are two impressed marks. She was collected by my mother while stationed in Wiesbaden from 1965-67 The condition overall appears excellent however there may be some missing ribbon at bust line. Without a picture to compare I am not sure. Very pretty piece

18th Century Richard Ginori Figurine Of Girl With Doll
My father bought three figurines at the Ginori factory in Florence. Italy during World War II. At first they didn't want to sell them, but after they agreed they asked him to come back at a later time to get them so they could have an artist sketch them because they were originals. I haven't ever seen the star mark on any other Ginori pieces and think it may be because they are originals or denote when they were made. On page 199 of Kovels' Dictionary of Marks Pottery and Porcelain 1650 to 1850(as shown in photographs) it shows the mark is 18th Century. She is 5 1/8 inches tall.
