Vtg 1961 Kipp Stewart Drexel Parallel Walnut Coffee Table BASE Danish MCM
This is a Drexel Parallel line walnut coffee table BASE ONLY(the table top is shown for reference regarding the manufacturer but is not being sold and is not included) The table is dated 5/61. The base legs and mounting plates will be care fully removed from the table top(the table top is just too expensive to ship and I have had interest in just the legs) It was likely designed by Kipp Stewart or Barney Flagg. Measures 14.25" tall and 33" corner to corner of the legs. Very good overall condition with some wear and minor scratches. No breaks or cracks but one leg has fairly deep gouges on both sides near the bottom of the leg(see closeup) It has not been repaired and is being sold as is. Thank you!

This is a stunning signed Drexel genuine Plaudit Line mahogany or light walnut veneer table with rare adjustable lift base. The base has a metal hydraulic dampened mechanism that allows it to be gently raised and lowered and locked into place. It measures 43" in diameter and adjusts from 19" to 31" allowing it to be used as a coffee table. Dining table or game table. The condition is good with scuffs and small chips around the edge of the veneered top and base. There is one large defect in the edge that looks like it might have been patched. The base has a metal cable dampened mechanism that allows it to be gently raised and lowered and locked into place. It measures 29" on the diagonal and adjusts from approximately 19" to 30" allowing it to be used as a coffee table, dining table or game table base. The condition is good with scuffs and minimal wear around the edge and scrapes on the lift cylinder. There is a stable stress crack in the base that is vertical and not very noticeable. Beautiful Mid Century DREXEL Alsace End Table/ Nightstand This stunning piece is part of the Alsace group made by Drexel in the early 1950's. Its beautifully carved details. Scalloped and beveled edges, dove tailed drawers, fitted glass top, and brass hardware. Are just a few examples of the quality workmanship that Drexel is famous for. They measure 29.5 inches high. 20 inches in length, and 16 inches deep. There are no breaks or repairs to the wood. There are no gouges. Damage, or fading to the original patina. These Drexel chairs were originally bought from the Joske's store out of Texas on 04/07/1969. That is according the original tags that are on the bottom of the chairs. If you just type in your search engine"joskes of huston texas" you will bring up all sorts of information regarding the store where they were purchased. They are made of a faux black leather which is embossed and with huge nail heads surrounding the chair. The frame of the chairs are beautiful aged solid oak. The chairs measure 22" wide. Floor to top of seat is 15-1/2" and from floor to top back of chair is 31" The large nail heads are 1-1/4" round. The only condition of the chairs I can see are two small rips on one chair. It is a wonderful hand-crafted work of art. It is also a very uncommon piece. Just try finding another one anywhere on the internet. I can not even find any real information on when exactly it was made- best estimate 1990-1995.
