Offered for sale is a Stunning Ethan Allen 18th Century Mahogany Collection Double Pedestal Dining Table. This table features two beautiful fluted/reeded pedestals with graceful legs and brass claw feet. The feet have solid brass casters for ease in moving. The table is solid mahogany with selected mahogany veneers and satinwood veneer banding. It is extremely heavy and solid. The edge of the table is fluted/reeded to match the pedestals and there is a nice apron along the bottom. There is a single aproned leaf included. The table is item# 22-6414 in the#250 finish and was manufactured in September 1991. It can be found on page#196 of the 90th edition Ethan Allen Treasury of American Home Interiors catalog. Ethan Allen describes their"18th Century Mahogany" collection as: Capturing the grandeur of the 18th Century masters. Each ... morepiece in this gleaming mahogany collection has depth and richness. It's a look of timeless elegance enhanced by superb detailing: contrasting borders, beveled glass and hand-carved touches. This mahogany table measures 46" wide x 72" long x 29 1/2" high and opens to 96" long with the single 24" leaf inserted. There would have been two leaves originally sold with this table but I only have one leaf. Overall the table is in excellent condition with following exceptions: There is an area with very fine finish scratches on one side of the table top. These are difficult to see except at the right angle and even more difficult to photograph(see pic#11) Also there are a few small dings in the table top and a few small dings along the table edge(see pic#10) Originally. I was told this table was in the conference room of a law office and had a glass top protecting it. There is evidence of 8 very faint dime-sized dots where the pads would have sat against the glass and wood. The table is in excellent condition due to the top being protected for most of it's 23 years of life. The Ethan Allen name, item number and date are located on the bottom of the table.

18th Early 19th Century Tilt Top Table-Chippendale Ball & Claw Legs/Mahogany
I scored this awesome piece at a frat estate sale in DC. I took it to have it"appraised" at a local shop and given very good news but truthfully I knew what I was looking at as you can see in the photos It has all the things to look for all flat head screws the bird cage is in great shape.The pin for holding the table in regular position is hand carved, actually the whole thing has evidence of being hand carved. When the top is folded there is a P wrote in wax/chalk at the top of the center post. The top is a solid piece of wood( I'm not talking about the detailed carved piece running around the top) There are no flaws that I can find it's in beautiful condition! This piece is dated 18th to early 19th century. If you look on line anything that is close to this style is very valuable! I'm not desperate to sell it because ... moreit will make a great heirloom.
