Vintage Oak Slab Coffee Table Live Edge Mid Century Hairpin Legs
For your consideration is a vintage oak slab coffee table on hairpin legs. The live edge oak slab is 2 3/8" thick and has a bowtie inlay across a tight split. Overall the piece measures 42 5/8" long x 15 1/2"16 1/4" wide x 18 1/4" tall. The live edges(sap wood) have some evidence of insect borers. Which may have killed this tree. The holes have been filled with a darker brown filler for contrast. The slab has been sanded and given two coats of sealer and a hand rubbed wax finish. The last photo shows the bottom of the slab and residue of a couple different paint jobs the table has had in its life thus far.I think you will agree the natural beauty of the wood is much better! Vintage Oak End Table with Folding Sides ( Great Smokey Mountains NC )
Here up for auction is a vintage oak table found hiding out here in our Great Smokey Mountains of North Carolina. It's like the old harvest tables with it's style of fold out leafs. We used the when we had one room homes and needed all the room we could get but when company showed up we could pull them out and fold the sides out to have the table room we needed for everyone. This one here is the same as it folds up to be a square and when more room is needed it folds out a hair. They also made neat puzzle tables for the winters before TV's. This one featured measures 16 inches tall and 18 by 26 inches before folding out. When it's folded out it measures just over 24 by 32 inches. It's sturdy as they came with the old school cabreole legs. It has all matching brass hindge's that all are tight and inset. The only thing ... moreit will need is a clear coat of polly to the top and a home that will display it like it deserves. I like it the way it is now because it just has a way of showing it's age.

Vintage Drexel Black Faux Leather and Oak
These Drexel chairs were originally bought from the Joske's store out of Texas on 04/07/1969. That is according the original tags that are on the bottom of the chairs. If you just type in your search engine"joskes of huston texas" you will bring up all sorts of information regarding the store where they were purchased. They are made of a faux black leather which is embossed and with huge nail heads surrounding the chair. The frame of the chairs are beautiful aged solid oak. The chairs measure 22" wide. Floor to top of seat is 15-1/2" and from floor to top back of chair is 31" The large nail heads are 1-1/4" round. The only condition of the chairs I can see are two small rips on one chair. This Card table was probably made in the 70's would be my best guess based on the hardware and the materials used for construction. It was just refinished and the wood is beautiful! The Green Vinyl top looks like leather and is free of marks or scuffs. The color is still all good. Seats 8! The trays were worn so we added new black felt to line them. The main construction of the base is board. And the visible parts and frame are solid oak. Very Pretty! The metal parts were also put on a buffing wheel and cleaned as they had developed some rust over the years. Screw holes were all tightened and it is sturdy and pretty tight for a folding table! The table's inlaid, two-tone top provides an intesting contrast of wood grains and tones(the table is primarily walnut(top veneer) with inlays(the long, horizontal stripes and small bowties are inlays- they look to be dark oak) Oak legs and stretchers provide ample structural support. Lane Style No. 0921-05; Serial No. 953160(I think this represents it's manufacture date: 06/13/59) Condition: One mention-worthy flaw(photos-there are several of the same flaw) a corner gash. But. I think, it's minimally visible from all but one short side. And note the ... morephotos are extreme close-ups; compare to the overall photos-from any normal distance, on the top it just appears as a small corner veneer chip. Otherwise. This is a vintage Ranch Oak bookcase and cabinet made by A Brandt in Fort Worth. TX. The bookcase is made to sit on top of the cabinet, but the bookcase has been in storage for a few years. It is in good condition except for a few minor flaws. There is a small dent inside the bookcase. It appears that something fell on the back of the bookcase. You can't see the dent unless you open the bookcase doors or look at it from behind. There are some holes for screws in the back of the bookcase where you can attach the bookcase to the cabinet, but I don't have the hardware that holds these 2 together. Each piece is labeled with a part number and name, so it appears that they must have been sold separately. This is for local pickup in Irving, TX. I think that my grandmother purchased this in the late 1950s.

Vintage 1950's Oak Table with Leaf. Steel Legs(Possibly Originally Chrome) Mid-Century Modern Style Perfect Retro Dining or Kitchen Table Expandable with Built-in Leaf This table was made by the Williamsburg Chair Factory in Williamsburg OH. USA, just outside of Cincinnati, OH. Judging from the style, this original table could have been made anywhere from the late 1940's to the early 1960's. The remnants of the original label(see picture) indicate it came from the factory with an O'Neil Duro(of Milwaukee, WI) finish. Some additional info on the Williamsburg Chair Factory- According to a furniture appraisal website I found. Mr. Ray White posted this comment: My family made these chairs[referred to in the original posting] The factory started in 1898 but closed in the 1960's. It was owned by the White family of Williamsburg. ... moreNormal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE" This may explain why there is a factory crayon inscription"Gunther or Heather( White" underneath the table top- could be a quality control mark or builder's signature. There is also what I believe to be a model number(1000) written twice. Today. I would say most of that original O'Neil Duro finish on the top is worn off. In fact, this table would look perfect with a mild refinishing- pictures show the table as-is.not polished and not even cleaned! The top surface shows a couple of what appears to be cigarette burns, a couple stains, and 2 spots with traces of'Great Stuff' insulation, which should easily scrape/sand off. The table has always been kept in the kitchen or garage since my family owned it. I believe the wood to be Oak. But I am not a wood or furniture expert. The lip of the table is a fluted wood that has been painted a cream color in the last 20 years. Steel loop legs have also been painted the same color. I have no idea what the original color or finish of the legs and table top edge was supposed to be. But I would suspect the legs were originally chrome. I appreciate any comments tha

Vintage A. Brandt Ranch Oak End Table w/Magazine Rack This is a heavy. Sturdy table, from a very collectible product line- Ranch Oak, by A. Brandt of Texas. The overall condition and the o riginal finish is very nice- even the bottom of the drawer is clean. There are some light scratches in the varnish on the top table surface. But they don't appear to have penetrated below the stained finish. I tried to capture these in the pictures, please view them carefully to make your own judgement about the condition of the item. There are also a few spots(mainly around the plugs on the top surface) where the varnish is worn through. There are no chips, or gouges anywhere on the piece as far as I can see. I applied lemon oil to the entire surface to clean and shine it up. It would just take a light finish sanding and a new coat of varnish on the ... moretop to make this table look like new. Dimensions: 22 inches wide. 20.25 inches tall, 20.5 inches deep. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. QUALITY, vintage, French Country, table. The table is solid oak with a darker stained finish. It features three, scrolled legs mounted on a triangular base. The table has rope or barley twist trim around the hexagon top. The top is fitted with cast, black granite or slate. The cast stone is etched with a striking, quatrefoil or French Iron Gate, scrolled design that incorporates several fleur-de-lis in the pattern.
