We purchased this in the early nineties and it has remained in our smoke-free home since. Due to future downsizing we are parting with it along with other listed items. It has a shaped porringer top with small apron all hand pegged that ... morerests on four delicate Queen Anne spoon foot legs, and the underside is also chamfered for best construction exactly as a period antique would be expected to be. Top measures 23.5" x 18.5" and is 25" tall, the perfect size for small hallway, wing chair side, bedside, as you wish. Or, TEA! Period Construction by Jim Buchanan c. 1995 Item# 130011GQP30 This very attractive American Queen Anne style tea table is crafted in every way by period standards. Bench made by hand with little intervention of modern machinery by Jim Buchanan of Clarksville, Ohio. His label is still retained on the underside of the table, the hand noted"1995" presumably the date he completed the work or sold it to the prior owner. The condition remains simply exceptional, this piece clearly cared for lovingly and cherished with great care- only the most minor evidence of prior ownership is visible in the surface(detailed in the condition notes) of the gorgeous solid Cherrywood ... moreemployed in all primary parts. The underside of the table shows deep hand chiseling of the blocking and scrolling of the apron, left unfinished and in the rough, the same way we enjoy the exposed secondary surfaces of period furniture. On either side of the table, small candle surfaces pull out with brass knobs to reveal the solid cherry candle stands. The table terminates over expertly formed pad feet. For anyone passionate about the period. Looking for a table that is affordable while remaining true in every way to the period, this is an outstanding find indeed. The cabinet measures about 21 1/2" wide x 16" deep x 40" tall. The fitted interior has divided sections for bottles, serving and storage areas with drawers. The lid has a key with working lock. Very good vintage condition. Only one scratch was found on the front right leg. The scratch is not noticeable unless directed to spot. Vintage Broyhill Coffee Table This is a vintage Broyhill Premier coffee table. It is Queen Anne style. With moderate proportions and a graceful appearance. It has modestly decorated cabriole legs. There is a single dovetailed drawer with a decorative pull. This table appears to be composed of various types of wood. Including but not limited to poplar and maple. There is a reddish-brown veneer covering most of the exterior of the table. It has a heavy, medium-tone stain finish with an antiqued splatter. A mark stamped on the bottom of the table reads"3000-01-853-C69" The original Broyhill tag is still inside of the drawer. The table measures 15 1/8" tall by 52" wide by 21" deep. The interior of the drawer measures 22 7/8" by 14 1/4" by 1 3/4" This is in good. Vintage condition overall with some general ... moresigns of age and use.
