The seat of one chair needs new hardboard… The table top came with a banner across one corner and my parents didn’t take it off for many years so you can see the diagonal line. It has the original vinyl fabric. One or two plugs are missing from the back of the chairs. I am not sure what type of wood it is made from. The chair backs have a beautiful leaf design. 30" x 30" vintage folding card bridge table. All wood from late 1940's-1950's. Water damage sustained due to a flood. Has been thoroughly dried. No mold that I can see. Missing& peeling veneer. Separation of wood seams& layers comprises the bulk of the damage mostly on one side. Solid hard wood legs& underside. Top is two colors of wood veneer. American Vintage Art Deco Card Table & Chairs, Post-1950, Wood & Fabric, Unk Mfr
Very interesting and unique art deco card table– sturdy construction. And well-made. We obtained this table in Tontitown, AR in 1996 and have used it for the past 18 years. Needs some repairs(see pictures) Top vinyl covering on two of four chairs is coming off, or is torn. Two of the legs of the table have come loose because of drying of glue, that was holding them into the top of the table. Each leg has four wooden pegs that fit into four slots underneath the table, so the surface area should allow for a strong bond with glue. Some good wood glue(or maybe Gorilla Glue) should repair these, no problem. Top of table has some stains, but should clean up very nicely. I have not done ANY alterations or"improvements" to this piece, other than attempting some light cleaning. It is very interesting, and we have not ever seen anything like ... moreit. THIS IS FOR PICK-UP ONLY. This auction is for a vintage. 50’s, wooden tilt-top folding card table. It has a picture of a hunting scene with horses, riders and dogs. The table measures 26.5” X 26.5” and is 30”H. There are some condition issues with this table but overall it’s a cool mid-century item. First. It appears that there was a repair to the wood underneath but it must have been done in the 60’s because I know it sat in storage, untouched, after that. The table is a little wobbly but has nothing to do with the repair. The picture has some paint in one corner, ink scribbles in another corner, and various marks throughout. There is also a crease in the center of the picture. Despite all this. You can clearly tell the picture is of a charming hunting scene. And you may be one of those handy people who is able to fix these issues. I am ... morecurrently in the process of clearing out the attic and cellar of the home my family moved to in 1963. Vintage QUARTER SAWN Oak Drop Leaf Folding Card Table SOLID WOOD Top Lathed Legs
For PICK UP ONLY. I am selling a VINTAGE, mid-century, solid wood, QUARTER SAWN OAK, folding, drop leaf table(card table) with turned, lathed legs. The underside of the table top also has the quarter sawn oak flashes, so it is solid wood, NOT a veneer. It looks like the top was made with at least 6 pieces of wood. The top and one of the legs in particular have great flaring. It is 29-7/8 inches high and 29-7/8 inches long(it is well-made with great form) With both leafs down, it is 14-¼ inches wide(so, you can use it as a side table when you don’t need it fully extended) With one leaf up, it is 28 inches wide. With both leafs up, it is 41-½ inches wide. Flash photography was used. All of the hardware is original. It was barely used.
