Danish furniture control mark and A/S Gudme stamp. The table is in very good condition but the leaves are darker than the rest of the table. The finish is very nice with no stains but some light wear marks. Light scratches that were too hard to photograph because of the high gloss top, reflections. There are no repairs or cracks to the wood anywhere. Just minor scuffs to the legs. It is finished on all sides including the back. Detail was given to this piece as seen with the very prominent continual Rosewood grain across the top and down the sides. Chest was designed to accomidate sewing materials and includes molded felt in the top drawer in perfect condition. The second drawer is deeper and perfect for almost anything. This table came with 4 HP Hansen chairs which match my own. It does not have a label on it and I have not come across it using other resources. If you know the designer or manufacturer. Please let me know. I just had the top refinished professionally. There was a pie shaped pieced of wood that had been used to do a repair before I had this refinished. You can see it in the photos if you look very hard. It's hard to see in general. The dimensions are 48 inches round and the leaf is 23 inches. The rosewood leaf is very heavy and solid and it hides beneath the table when you are not using it. This method/style is called butterfly. I don't think you will see another piece like this. With the leaf. It's almost 90" long, 39" across, and 28.5" tall. The leaf measures approx 23" x 39" Table does have some vintage wear. Danish furniture control mark and A/S Gudme stamp. The table is in very good condition but the leaves are darker than the rest of the table. The finish is very nice with no stains but some light wear marks. Light scratches that were too hard to photograph because of the high gloss top, reflections. There are no repairs or cracks to the wood anywhere. Just minor scuffs to the legs. When are you going to find such an incredible rosewood& teak table and have this rare opportunity to own such an incredible piece of Danish modern design. The table measures roughly 42"W x 60"L x 29"H closed and the length with the two. 19" leaves makes the table appx 98" L.
