This is a beautiful set. The large dresser has 6 drawers. 3 small drawers and 3 larger drawers. It also has a detachable mirror. The armoire has 3 cubby holes and 4 drawers. The top of it has had water issues. The nightstand has 2 drawers and the top of it has some wear issues. I will throw in the king headboard that I bought with the set. I don't think it matches. Originally purchased in 1936 by my family from a small Cincinnati. Ohio furniture manufacturer in the now historic"Over-the-Rhine" neighborhood. I believe it is an example of the Arts& Crafts period(Rebellion against Victorian Industrialism. Objects that appear to be made by hand are in again) This 4 piece restored antique. Solid walnut, double(AKA full) size bedroom set is for sale from a smoke free, very clean home in West Chester, Ohio 45069 in the Wetherington Golf and Country Club community near Tylersville and I-75. This furniture has been stored disassembled for the past 7 years. It is very heavy, solid walnut furniture. Even the back sides are solid wood with tongue and groove joints providing finished detail suitable for viewing(great for an open room layout) The set includes a headboard and footboard with hand carved ... moredetails(front and rear) Solid rails, plus 2 bedside nightstands and a chest of drawers. The entire set was professionally restored by Haas Distinctive Woodworks in 2007 before being put away(it has not been used since the restoration) There remain some signs of age here and there, but overall it is in great condition. Haas still features the dresser on their web site; As seen in the link above. This furniture really shines on a wood floor. The carved legs provide over six inches of clearance for easy cleaning underneath. More pictures of the dresser can be seen here; Each drawer is made of 100% solid wood. All the pieces have beautiful, exquisite and intricately detailed carving done. They are all in great shape except for a few scuffs, scrapes and scratches. Before buying, I can send you detailed pictures of the wear that I could not fit into the listing. The set consists of a beautiful four drawer dresser, an amazing desk with mirror, a bed and a little stool or bench. The dresser has amazing graining. It stands 46 inches tall, 38 inches wide and 21 inches deep. The desk also has gorgeous wood and measures 51 inches long, 19 inches deep and 30 1/2 inches tall. The mirror adds 36 inches to the height of the desk. The stool or bench measures 18 inches in height, 22 inches in length ... moreand 13 inches in width. The bed comes with a footboard, headboard and two rails as well as the metal rails. The wooden rails have wear on them but they are not meant to be seen. The footboard and headboard measure 55 inches from rail to rail. I believe it's a full sized bed. The length of the rails are 80 inches. The height of the headboard is 48 inches. This collection is from my grandparent's home. They moved from Monroe. NC to Charlotte in 1935. My grandfather was a railroad engineer and managed to weather the depression intact. When he was transferred with the railroad company, he moved his wife and five children from the farm house into the big city of Charlotte. They only bought one kitchen table from the old house. This set was made by Bancroft& Boyden as marked on the inside of the drawers and the dresser does have its original casters intact on the base. The locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key. This is a very heavy, solid set and the bed sets up tight and secure. The condition is very good for this time period and has the normal scuffs and wear of use and shines up like a jewel when polished regular. There are natural cracks in some burl areas brawn apart over age. I would replace the older hardware with something more modern but traditional. Burl tends to cave in with age in the knot area which separates the wood. Most people do not touch this or fill it in but leave it with it's natural aging. The celluloid hardware is hard to describe very old with some cracks and what looks on one or two to be a replacement ring? Not sure. Fabulous wood grained satin wood,walnut and ebony.It has nickle plated pulls with original Mirrors Note: The true color shows in the outdoor images.The full sized indoor image shows much darker, and the wrong colors than in person.The condition is good in all original vintage surface.There are veneer loose's's on the vanity bench approx 3" X 2" also on the inside left side of the cubbie hole. 4" X 3" veneer loss on the edge of the be and on one side of one of the dressers approx 4" X 3" and a large veneer loss on the edge of the bench.There are worn paint areas of the ebony easily covered with black ... morepaint.Some finish imperfections on the vanity top from perfume. I think the bed is a full or double 55" between the rails.The High dresser measures 42" H X 31" W X 17" D.The low dresser measure's 32" H X 42" W X 18" D The vanity measure's 45" W X 17" D X 65" H to the top of the mirror.The mirrors have some very minor wear to the silvering on the top edges.I only found one other example of this set, by this maker, for $12000.00 refinished. The age of these pieces may date back to the late 1800's or early half of the 1900's. The walnut bed measures 7' 7" tall at the head and 33 1/2" tall at the foot. The headboard measures 5' 3"wide and 5' 1 3/4" at the foot. The headboard has a few rounds pieces of the wood design that has come off, the owner may still have these. The headboard has some cracking in a thin area which appears to be burl inlay, a few small pieces are missing. The bed is overall in great condition for it's age. The marble top dresser measures 7' 11" tall. 4' 6" long and 22" wide. Up for auction is this stunning Victorian Walnut 4 Piece Bedroom set. All hand carved with burl veneer. Inside dresser drawers is a birdseye maple veneer. Hardware handles have been replaced on the wash stand and the dresser. The handles are original to the Highboy with the door front. The bed is 88" tall to the top of the carving and matress area is 61" x 75" The dresser is 88" tall to the top of the carving and 54"w. x 23" d. Wash stand is 28" tall by 37" wide by 17-1/2" deep with a marble top. The Highboy is 54-1/2" tall by 37" w. by 21-1/2 d. with 2 doors that lock and all the pieces have the original keys with them.
