There are some other scratches, the night stand has some scratches as well, all marks can be sanded and refinished, this set is solid wood and isn't in that bad of shape for its age, the mirrors and head board are in good condition, the marble tops for the dresser are in very good condition could just be cleaned, the mirrors still have the tags on them from when the were bought. Please see all the pictures above the set is in ok condition for its age but needs some cleaning and refinishing. If I knew anything about furniture I would so it my self but I don't. This set came from a smoke free home. The dresser has 6 drawers and the cabinets in the center open up and there is 3 pull out drawers. Antique Vintage 1940's Bedroom Furniture Set Suite Art Deco
This set belonged to my parents. Originally purchased in the mid-1940's. When they liked something, they liked it-and kept it. It's in very good condition. There is a scratch on the top of one side of the dresser, as shown in a photo. One leg apparently had weakened and my father had repaired it with a piece of sheet metal, as shown. It doesn't show on the outside edge, but they always had a long bedspread over it, so it didn't show, anyway. The drawers are all very clean, as shown. Antique Big Victorian Bedroom Decor Furniture Dresser 1850 Mirror Brush Set
Hello- This is a very special True Victorian Hairbrush Mirror from at the LATEST 1850! The Amber-Yellow glass indicates this. And is never reproduced. When looking into the Etched Amber Glass, Your face is surrounded by the flowers just like my camera is if you can imagine, and your face has an amber glow. I placed it on the 50's mirror so that you can see the difference in the glass's. The big round mirror is part of the set. The Victorian Curling is genuine, I'm not positive of it's age, But these were used even into the 1920's. The brush measures approx. 10" long x 3 1/3" at the widest. And has a wooden brush area to hold the bristles. The metal is a bit tarnished from age, a magnet does not stick to it and I don't know what kind of metal it is. There is some loss to the etching of the flowers, but not ... moretoo much and is still in wonderful condition. The curling iron is approx. 10" long. With a thin crimping rod for"pin curl" size curls. The round mirror has some tarnishing from age. A magnet does not stick to it. The mirror measures approx. 12" long x 9" at the widest. What a beautiful set you've found! It’s a neo-classical high-quality mahogany five-piece bedroom set by the Northern Furniture Company of Sheboygan. Wisconsin, dating from the 1930s or‘40s. If this was period neo-classical, you’d be looking at paying in the high thousands, but this is a very unique copy, complete with the ebonized pillars, the simulated brass ormolu trim, and the diamond point ebony inlay, with brass ormolu style stars. A hard. Close-grained wood, mahogany can be strikingly veined or mottled, as observed in these pieces. The set consists of a four-drawer tall chest. Two single beds, a matching three-drawer chest, and a matching mirror. All finished in a dark reddish-brown color, with two glass tops, and the whole set is all ready to find a place in your home. The set retains the feel of its original neo-classical style ... morehardware. The gilding and black ebonized paint is intact. It’s really stunning. The overall sizes of the pieces, beginning with the tall chest, are 36 inches wide, 21 inches deep, and 46 inches high. It has the brass ormolu style trim across the top of the picture-frame molded top drawer, and the bottom three drawers are gold stenciled, and all drawers are dovetailed. Up for bid is a 5 piece Dixie Furniture bedroom set. French style, its original condition, off white with yellow painted accents. I tried to capture as many photos as possible so you can see everything, was very well taken care of. Has dove-tailed drawers made of solid wood, there are a few imperfections, but nothing that bad. A few light scratches/marks here and there, a little bit of chipping on the front of the nightstand(I tried to capture a close-up photo of them) There is a chip on the back of the 5 drawer dresser, still looks fine. The nightstand was stored so does have a very slight musty smell, the other pieces are fine. Mirror looks great, overall all pieces are fine. The headboard comes as shown, does not have the post that are supposed to be attatched(my daughter never wanted them on, and I can't remember what happened to ... morethem) but you don't need them, just want to mention that I don't have them. Antique 1930's - 1940's handmade doll furniture (bedroom) and doll pajamas set.
You are bidding on a charming vintage bedroom set for 8" dolls which includes twin bed with mattress and cover. Pillow with matching pillowcase, dressing table with dressing table skirt, mirror on dressing table, chair, and 2 piece pajama set. Set has been in my family for several decades. I am unsure of the exact year that it was made(approximately 1930-1950) and the quality and craftsmanship is excellent. The bed spread has some small stains which may be removed by hand washing in cold water or dry cleaning. Dressing table is 7 inches long, 3 inches wide, and about 3 inches tall. Bed is approximately 10 inches long 6 inches wide and 2 inches tall. The set has been stored in the closet of a smoke-free pet-free home. Please contact me if you have any questions and see all pics.
