This is a ... morevery unique full size bed with rounded edges and very nice rosette and scrollwork castings supporting the curved tubes and straight rods. The rails are marked IDEAL. The bed is pretty sturdy and the hitches fit nice and tight. All you see is what is included. There are no supportive slats. The bed measures roughly 54 inches wide and 80 inches long. The frame size is about 54x76 inches(mattress space) The headboard is about 6.4 inches tall and the footboard is about 40 inches tall. The paint is chipped all over which gives it a great look. But if it is going in a childs room, we would recommend sandblasting, priming and painting the entire bed. This would be a great preventative measure to guard againt rust and further deterioration. There is some rust and wear. It is very old. We are offering this for preferred local pick up. But if you want it shipped, you can get your own quote through U-ship or another company. The frame size is about 54x76 inches(mattress space) The headboard is about 6.4 inches tall and the footboard is about 40 inches tall. The paint is chipped all over which gives it a great look. But if it is going in a childs room, we would recommend sandblasting, priming and painting the entire bed. Wonderful turn of the century(late 1800's or early 1900's) tubular iron and brass bed. Simple brass ball-shaped knobs top each of the four posts and a decoration supports the center of each brass rail. The painted white iron stiles are decorated by simple trefoil designs at the joints. Both side rails are included. Over all this piece is in good condition. There is a little wear to the paint. But no breaks or visible repairs. When assembled. Old Antique Ornate Wrought Iron Bed, Aged Red Paint, Cast Iron Decoratives, Full
Here's a nice old or antique wrought iron bed we received recently with some estate items. This one is probably from the 1880's to perhaps 1920's with red paint and an assortment of what appear to be cast iron decorative pieces for an ornate appearance. I'm not sure what style this would be called but these decorative pieces and curved lines might be called an art nouveau style versus a primitive style. The red paint has signs of age and use giving it a nice naturally aged appearance. Though some may elect to paint it. This is a full size bed with the space between the rails at about 53.5 inches and the space between the headboards about 75 inches. The headboard stands about 61 inches or slightly over 5 feet tall, and the foot board is about 46 inches tall at the tallest point. The angle iron cross bar brace piece at the bottom ... moreof the headboard has been broken at some point. The other connective pieces hold the headboard together well but this should be braced, clamped or tack welded by someone handy. This bed is relatively clean but has been stored for some years and could use a little more light cleaning. Overall a nice antique wrought iron bed for those who seek functional furniture that provides an interesting decorative appearance. This bed is being listed for"Pickup Only" and is located about 15 minutes from the junction of Interstates 89 and 93 near Concord in central New Hampshire. Pickups are most easily arranged nights and weekends. For those who are distant from NH but have trips planned to NH within 45 day from the sale ending date, we will arrange to hold the door provided payment is received within 7 days of the end of the auction. It is Victorian. From the late 19th century, and is all original. There is some of the usual wear you would normally associate with furniture of this age, some of the paint to the frame has worn and there is a small hole to mattress support. The brass rails and finials are tarnished and we leave it to the new owner to polish. This is a very charming Victorian Crib measuring 48 long, 28 wide and 45.5 tall. A wonderful display item. Nice ornated Victorian Full size cast iron bed with original drop in pin style rails. The headboard is 60 inches tall or 5 ft. and the footboard is 41 inches tall. The bed is a full size measuring 54 1/2 inches wide. Very ornated and heavy built.The only thing wrong is that the footboard has a small section of railing missing as you can see in the fourth picture. Common Cast Iron Vintage Pin Type Drop In Bed Rails
You are bidding on a set of cast iron pin type bed rails used generally with brass or brass& iron beds made from around 1880 to close to the 1920's. These rails are in very good condition. They have been sanded and painted with a light coat of white paint to keep them from rusting. Dimensions: total length 74 inches from end to end counting the pin, 72 inches not counting the pin, 1 inch diameter of top of pin, 5/8 inch diameter of bottom pin, total length of pin approximately 2 inches in length. I bought these to fit my daughters antique bed but they did not fit.

Cast Iron Twin Size Bed chic & shabby Gr8 shape Straight Antique original paint
This bed has been the property of a single family for many generations. It is quite the amazing piece as even the white paint is all original to the date of manufacture. There is one noticeable bend in the thin iron of the foot-board. As you can see in the photos. I am positive that it would take no more than a strong arm to bend it back into shape. I can't find any more defects on the piece. But it is being sold as-is with no warranty due sole to the age of the bed. Beautiful antique iron twin bed painted in white with gently scalloped head& foot boards. Exploding iron twirls and fleu de lis caps. Little or no rust on the head and foot boards. The iron railings slip easily into cutouts on each end. The railings have some rust, but this is easily removed. I have only taken one picture of the bedframe b/c it's been raining here all weekend! Many times the delicate iron twirls on these early beds are bent from age& wear through the years, but the iron twirls on this bed are in perfect shape. Iron on materials could cover this and then a mattress cover would protect it more. Other than that, it is in excellent extra- firm condition. No stains. Antique Vintage Cast Iron Miniature Doll Bed Salesman Sample Straw Mattress
This is a very nice old cast iron miniature bed. It comes with an old mattress that is filled with straw. This bed is made of cast iron and assembled in four sections. The head board and foot board are identical in size and design. Only one finial remains- 3 have been broken off One leg has been repaired(see photo 11) Measurements of the cast iron bed is 16 inches long X 10 1/4 inches wide X 11 inches tall. This may have been a Salesman Sample or could have been made for a doll; I have no idea. Today. It certainly could be used for a doll display. On the bottom of the head and foot board is the name J.J. ROMAINE. I have been unable to find anything about this company. The original paint remains with some chipping(see photo 10) The mattress is ticking fabric and shows wear and stains with use and age. Whether the mattress is original to the ... morebed. Again I have no idea. A wooden board has been attached to the bed in order to place a mattress. I have no idea if this is original. But it is old. Antique hospital over bed table decorative cast iron base Rare Find adjustable
Very unique antique hospital overbed table. This is very adjustable to any angle-note the gear on the underside. Table can be angled at any of these gear turns. Has a small metal bar on underside that will snap into place to hold a book for picture if table is set at an angle. Top measures 18 X 24 inches and is in great shape for the age. Appears to be veneer on bottom. Which is in good shape. The mechanism itself for adjusting the table and putting it in a folded position is fantastic. To adjust the table you push it slightly inward toward the base compressing the spring and turn. The bottom is a great cast iron pattern. At some point the base was painted an almost chocolate brown. It is as I got it. The paint is not overly thick and does not appear to mar the pattern at all. The arm is adjustable from 26-40 inches tall. Can go taller but ... moreit seems it would be unstable any higher. The two"outer" feet have wheels-which are fully functional and well attached. The two feet nearest the base do not ever appear to have had wheels on them-maybe for stability. The only marking of origin I have found on it is stamped on the bottom B2. Overall this is in excellent condition and is very sturdy-would make a great collector's piece or for use as an overbed table or side table. Please feel free to ask questions.
