I bought this piece at an estate sale in Texas. It is in very good condition but headboard is missing bracket as shown and should not be too hard to replace. Headboard measures 56 1/2 tall and 71 inches wide. The footboard measures 36 1/2 inches tall and 71 inches wide. The distance from rail to rail measures 66 inches wide and each rail measures 77 1/2 inches long without screws and end pieces. This auction is for a Vintage Strombecker Doll Bed Frame. The brand is stamped on one end of the bed but is partly faded so was hard to get a good picture of it. Also included in this auction is a school desk that seats three and a shelf. The desk is not marked but is the same style and wood as the Strombecker bed. Salesman Sample Brass Bed frame/baby doll/vintage antique/Store example/1800's
Original Vintage Antique small bed frame. The frame appears to be made of brass. I believe that it is a salesman example sample. It appears to be from the turn of the last century circa 1870-1920. But I am not a bed expert. All screws look original and are the same with no replacements. The yarn strung around the frame was obviously added much later, I will leave it as is for the next owner to decide what to do. There are cobwebs in places and marks that I have left as well. I have not attempted to clean the frame, and all patina is the way it was when I received the item. I have done nothing to the frame except photograph it. It looks very old. DIMENSIONS: length is 25 inches from the middle of the head to the middle of the foot bar. 15 inches across from the centers of the side rails, 18.5 inches tall from the ground to the top of the highest ... morepoint on the head, 3.75 inches from the ground to the top of the bottom side rail. There is remnants of very old string tied on the head side rail. You will receive everything shown in the pictures and I always attempt to give you the best pictures. If you have questions. Antique full-size steel tube bed frame. Label on the bottom of the headboard reads'Simmons Company' I can't make out the rest of the label. Made in the early 1900's. Painted brown and very chippy. Foot board the paint is worn off down to the metal from years and year of having a blanket rubbing on it. There are two old yellow stickers on the headboard from Road Runner Mufflers in 1960's that I left on for nostalgia. Very sturdy and good for another 100 years! 100 yr old Antique Murphy "in-a-dor" Bed Complete Vintage Retro Frame Headboard
This is a Murphy Bed that Came out of a hotel in Atlantic City in the 50's. And went into my Grandmothers house in the 50's. It is in perfect working condition, and is balanced and smooth when opening up. It is still in great shape. There is no rust, and all of the springs are intact and working properly. It comes with the Original mattress, and mounting hardware. The bed was designed to mount on the door jamb of closet. when not in use, it pivots inside the closet for storage. When needed, it swivels out of closet, and into the room, you just pull in down, and you have a bed made up and ready to go. You can even have the sheets and blankets on it already. It doesn't have to be mounted in a closet though. We had one in a closet, but this one was mounted to the wall in the corner of a back sitting room. We had a piece of fabric ... moreon a shower curtain like thing that hid it behind decorative fabric. It really is in perfect condition as we rarely used it(Christmas and Easter) There are a few scratches in the paint in the footboard legs(see pics) but other than that, it is a relic that has been perfectly preserved. I am only selling it because we are getting rid of the family house. It is not mounted currently(obviously by the pics) but mounts easily with 8 screws in about 10 mins. This is perfect for someone with an older house that has small rooms. It is great as a guest bed, because it is out of the way until you need it, allowing your guest room to be an office, sitting room or whatever until you have guests over. In antique store these are over $1200, and I have never seen one in this great of shape(except the one we left in the closet in A.C. so I am asking $850. I am happy to answer any questions. Must be picked up in Delaware 10 mins from the PA line. If you live further away, and want me to deliver it, we could make those arrangements for a fee depending on how far it is. So the bed and guards could slide together with the bed for cleaning. Used to keep our little dog from going under the bed. This bed needs cleaned and the help of a mahogany stain pen. Some of the wooden dowels will need to be reworked to use the 2 tall risers and finals. That go on the foot of the bed. There is 1 gum spot under the inside of 1 rail. Vintage bed crown measures 48" wide taken with a cloth tape which bends around the curvature of the piece. It measures 35" wide on the wall. Fits well over a larger bed. It is 16" tall at its tallest. There is a hidden metal frame at the back to accommodate the fabric. Real wood. I think, but cannot guarantee- weighs 12 pounds. All the detail and, particularly the cut-outs make this special and so much prettier than others. The finish undercoat is brown, but there is a lot of gilt to top it off. Vintage Italian Hand Painted King Bed Frame, 50s/60 vintage
Acquired 11 years ago in Chicago. This magnificent, hand-painted. Ornate, Italian king size bed frame will be a focal point for any bedroom! The lustrous colors of blue and cream are enhanced with accents of gold and dark muslin on both head- and footboard. And soft pastel hues of the hand-painted flowers accentuate the ornate features of the headboard. The left and right sides of the headboard feature a floral pattern, with a signature affixed on the right side by the artist(we cannot decipher the Italian signature affixed—see photo) The footboard also features ornate figures. The material used for the headboard and footboard appears to be some type of hard composite material. The side pieces of the frame are cream-colored wood. The overall condition of this bed frame is very good for its age. There are a few cracks in places on the footboard ... morewhich would be expected of a vintage piece. Though these imperfections are hardly noticeable, do not minimize the integrity of the piece, and contribute to a‘feeling of age. The right corner of the footboard has a small section where the composite material has fallen away, though this is not noticeable when a comforter, quilt, or large bedspread is used on the mattress(easily repairable with a composite filler and touched up with paint) This bed frame accommodates a king size bed. The print is matted with a gold tone metal curved corner mat– also in good condition– remember this is not an antique print. The print has glass and cardboard backing. No wiggle– corners are tight. Measurements: Opening for the glass is approximately 13-1/2 inches by 15-1/2 inches– paper backing makes it difficult to get an exact measurement- these measurements are taken from the front. Outside measurements of the frame are 15 ¼ inches by 17 ¼ inches. Opening size of the mat are 7 ¼ inches by 8 ½ inches. That is the visible size of the print. A very nice three piece art deco bedroom set. Made by J.A. Nusbaum Furniture in Merrill Wisconsin. The vanity measures 29" tall-44" wide-18" deep. It has a 32" diameter mirror. The dresser measures 49" tall-32" wide-17" deep. The bed is a full size and includes headboard. Footboard and rails. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Vintage wood cannon ball bed frame- size Full. I believe this is made of maple wood. With cannon ball posts. The bed is very sturdy and is in perfect condition. This bed is made with excellent craftsmanship, and has no scuffs, scratches or cracks that I can see. All pieces of the bed, including the head board, foot board, and two rails are original. The bed can be put together and also taken apart very easily- all pieces, including screws are included, Pick up only. Please. Princeton, NJ
