I have always cherished and adored this regal but simplistic Victorian shabby chic black painted circular foot stool with the adorned pillow top with peasant tapestry for a very long time. Life marches on adding to ones age as it goes. The time has come for me to downsize. This uniquely fab black linen and painted black wood foot stool-parlor ottoman stands a regal 7 inches in height(even taller when pillow top is fluffed) with a supportive stand being that of 9 inches across in diameter. I do believe from closer inspection one of the foot stools original legs has been moved to a new location-leaving behind a view of where it was at. The attached pillow top displays an impressive needlepoint in a peasant design. Impressive but not over the top. Pillow stool skirt is attached as one piece. I did appear at one time one of the wooden legs had a metal medallion with an identification plaque on it. However at this time it is gone-leaving behind the circular area where it had been! For your consideration we have a pair of VINTAGE CARVED WOODEN SHELVES/SCONCES These shelves are in nice vintage condition. They measure 6" tall. 4 3/4" wide and 2 5/8" deep. They are cream colored with gold accents and each have 2 hangers on back. They do have some paint chipping and discoloration which may or may not be removed with a good cleaning. We cleaned the tops a little and some of the discoloration came off so it may just be a buildup of grime. These were acquired at an estate sale in a very old house. Overall these vintage shelves are very nice pieces. Unique and interesting! We try very hard to describe our items as accurately as possible. However we are not experts. It measures approx. 8" long and 5-1/4" wide and stands 9" tall. This wonderful Antique metal chest has applied flowers and leaves on all sides including the top. The chest sits on four ball feet. CONDITION: Very Good to Excellent vintage condition with no missing or broken parts. There is light rust. Some scratches and wear, and some chipping of the paint on the flowers and some of the leaves, especially on the flower at the top of the box. Some areas on the box may have been repainted. There is a stain on the inside as shown in the photos. This is a well-constructed. Heavy box weighing about 4 pounds before packing. There is a nail sticking out of one of the holes on the back and I have not tried to remove it. It does not come thru the front of the frame. The stand is NOT included. This a set of 2 very pretty cottage floral prints that are in great condition. The frame is wood painted ivry with a soft tan rub on the edging and there is a small chip in the paint on one of the prints as shown in photo. The glass and prints have no damage. Its got beautiful crystal spear prisms hanging down and all are present. It does work as you can see in photos and has along cord for plugging into wall, however the wiring doesnt look brand new so it should probably be checked by a professional. Also the top portion is missing a lot of its patina, and there are black spots, so its not perfect, please see the photos and inspect carefully so you know the condition. This table is from Sweden. A Gustavian side table with original finish. I purchased it many years ago from a Swedish lady that remembers this table being in her grandmothers home in Sweden since she was a young girl. She brought it over when she was living in Seattle, then called me when she was going back and had to sell many Swedish treasures. At that time, I had a Swedish antique business. I sold it one time and then bought it back, it really is quite amazing with the original white gustavian finish. It is 26 1/4" long, 17 1/4" deep, and 28 1/2" tall. Shabby ANTIQUE Metal Maiden Lady Cherub Beaded Bulb Shades Covers LAMP 20"
If you missed this one before. It had been on Layaway and the Transaction was Canceled, so here she is again! From an old Estate we have a Lovely Antique Lady and cherub lamp. In cream and gold we have a lady and cherub playing instruments. With more instruments at their feet. This lamp measures appr 20" tall, the base is 5" in circumference and about 8" wide at the top. There are two old beautiful glass/ crystal beaded bulb covers that were on it. We do not know if they are original to the lamp, but with the type of sockets on the lamp, imagine they are. They are beautiful and heavy. You can tell they are really old from there wiring, see pics. The lamp leans just the weest bit because of their weight, it does stand in place. I believe a one or two felt pads underneath the base would give it more balance. We are not certain ... moreon the exact age or what type of metal this is. No matter, they certainly don't make them like this anymore, shes a Beauty! We have found a break in the metal on the ladies right arm, where the metal wiring is wrapped around it which holds the metal leaves. It is there, however the wiring hides it pretty good, unless you are looking for it, its not that noticeable, please see pics. There is also a wee chippyness to the paint here and there. Mostly on the back where the curly metal wiring is on both arms. With age they have come loose from their original spot, and do move. I would suggest once you receive the lamp, position them in place and add a drop of glue to secure them. The curves of the metal arms that hold the sockets, have bends and dings on the back and the paint is chippy there also, please see photos. The base has the old felt pad on it, but one side of it has come loose and a little is missing, believe this is why it isn't completely balanced. It has old wiring, we plugged her in and she does work, old wiring should be checked by a professional before use. There is an on and off switch on the base. Up for auction is this vintage patio setting. It is very shabby chic in style. It is made of wrought iron and has 2 single chairs and a 2 seater. This set would date back to around the 1950's or so. It came from a deceased estate and had been stored under a house for the past 30 years or so. As such there is a small amount of surface oxidation visible but nothing to worry about.
