SUBLIME VINTAGE SHABBY CHIC BLUE MOSSMAN TYPE CHEST/COFFEE TABLE/ TRAVEL TRUNK This auction is for a really lovely shabby chic. Blue coloured, Mossman style, travel trunk/ chest/ coffee table. Measuring 30ins(76cms) wide x 17ins(43cms) deep x 10.5ins(27cms) high, it is a traditional steamer type trunk having protective bands on the edges and corners and twin catches at the front with a central lock and clasp and a leather carrying handle. It is finished in a blue colour with an attractive patina to it. The catches work well but there is no key for the central lock. I nternally it has the original lining material and a lift out shirt tray. It is in good general condition but has a few signs of use as one might imagine. With scuffs, nicks, scratches and so on and one corner has had a thump at some point in the past. The lining is pretty clean ... moreand dry with minor stains and it has lifted from the edges at a couple of points, but nothing serious. please see photos) This is a beautiful old travelling chest which stands with real presence- the perfect combined storage chest and coffee table! Hand-Painted Vintage Stool click picture to enlarge Up for auction this week- OO LA LA- I have this vintage step or milking stool. Now featuring a face-lift with my hand painting rendition of an old Paris post card. This stool was fun to paint, and I sure hope you enjoy viewing it! Oodles of detail involved! After sanding and priming. I painted the background of the legs and the top in a strong pink color. The spindles and the edge of the top were painted with"lavender frost, a lovely color with just a hint of lavender in it. Then the fun began! I painted a detailed border of prim dots to resemble antique lace. In the center of the lace I painted a vintage-looking Parisian postal card. Finishing off the painting are my signature cabbage roses in the corner. Signed by me, and then sealed several times with a high-gloss sealant to offer ... moreyou years of beauty and use. This stool is old. It has a slight wobble to it. But it's still plenty sturdy. I have sat and stood on this, and it held me just fine. Through the years there was some repair work done to the stool(I believe the stool is hand-made) as there is some glue residue down a leg or two. I couldn't sand the residue off, so what the heck, I just painted right over it. This just adds, I feel, to the vintage charm of this piece! No miniature here.the stool measures a full 17-3/4 inches high. The top is 1 foot squared. The legs"flare" out a little bit at the bottom. And they are 11-1/2 inches deep, front to back, and their widest point. What a wonderfully unique way to display a potted plant in your front foyer or outside on your patio! Give your little Granddaughter her own special place to sit when she comes to visit you by letting her rest upon this! You could even display a cherished knicknack on this enclosed under a ball jar. However you decide to display it(or actually USE it to reach those pesky high-up items) It's sure to draw compliments! The paint finish is white with a little bit of a peach or pink base under it. They would be easy to touch up. They have no chips or cracks. Hi I wish I knew more history about this lovely piece. Its a beautiful french mirror with a lovely french ladys portrait. It is old and is in vintage condition. Because it is in vintage condition their is some wear to it that does not take away from the overall peice. There is a small tear to the picture at the bottom that is hard to see unless you look very close and a small chip is missing below the picture between the mirror and portrait. OMG AMAZING METAL STATUE- crown NOT included. Sorry I think this is a clock topper but I am nto 100% sure. Its quite large and super heavy and its got very intricate detail. Her dress has a gorgeous design and she is holding a pen and her pad actually has a drawing of a mans head on it. Its really awesome. The only issue I see is that on the front the curve underneath her is quite rough. I am sure you can see it in the photos. Other than that its in pretty good shape from what I can see. There is a hole on the one side where I am sure it attached to something, I think a clock. Measures: 13" across at base x about 10.5 tall. They closed in the 1970's and no more pottery is being made by Hyalyn. This is a great design for a Shabby type style and it works well in traditional as well as contemporary styles. Gorgeous antique Alfred Meakin Argyle serving platter. A light ivory based platter featuring a cobalt vase overflowing with roaming vivid green vines and a deep pink rose floral bouquet. Rim is also textured in a floral vine pattern outlined in a series of small beads. The inner beaded section are smaller and mostly smooth to the touch. The outer beaded section are double in size and can be felt along with the floral design. The extreme rim is trimmed in cobalt. Bright bubble gum pink and a pale yellow pattern. Here's a pretty little antique tri fold mirror I recently found at an estate sale. It is in very nice shape. It is 19.5 inches tall. The Center mirror is 15" wide and the two side mirrors are just over 7.5" a piece. Folded. It is 3/4 inch thick. Nice original brass hardware and screws. Birds Blue Flowers Large 15.75" Here is a wonderful bowl/dish which is very unusual and pretty! I believe this is French. Only markings appear to be S& G with an L. below. I presume Limoges. It appears to be probably turn of the century. It is a large oval bowl which measures 15.75" long x 9.25" wide and has a sort of ruffled or scalloped edge. There are hand painted bows on either end in pink with what gives the impression of woven yarn. There are two blue birds flying about and a little dragonfly. Antique Vintage Shabby Oval Beveled Mirror With Ornate Metal Frame
This auction is for an antique vintage oval beveled mirror with an ornate metal frame. The frame measures 12" tall and 9" wide. The mirror is 7-1/2 x 5-1/2. The frame has a light misting of rust on it but all of the decoration is intact. The back of the frame holding the mirror in place appears to be brass. It shows surface scratching. Has a dent in the center, and shows some rust, especially at the top. There are four bars which screw into the frame which hold the mirror/backing in place. There are two loops molded into the frame to hold the wire for hanging. The mirror is hazy around the edges and has marks on the surface, the largest which is shown in the last photo. The mirror is beautiful alone or hanging with a collection of antique mirrors.

Antique Vintage Shabby Rectangular Mirror In Ornate Metal Frame
This auction is for an antique vintage rectangular mirror with an ornate metal frame. The frame measures 11" x 8-1/2" The actual mirror is 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" This originally had a stand at the base of the frame on the back side which would allow it to stand upright. However. It was missing when I purchased it so I added wire to the back to hang it with a display of other antique mirrors. The very tip of the design at the top is missing. The frame may have been gold at one time, It is now more of a bronze with a coppery color showing through. It also has a turquoise like patina. It does have some rust in spots but the metal does not appear to be corroded. The mirror is in good condition. I may have replaced it but I have had it so long that I cannot recall. Large Vintage Shabby Rustic Ceiling Medallion Cap 25" Black and Gold Wall Decor
Large Vintage Shabby Rustic Ceiling Medallion Cap 25" Black and Gold Wall Decor I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and shop with another ebayer seller from out of town recently- a real catfish moment. Because we’ve talked for years, but never met! No surprises, just all fun and did we shop until we dropped! I have lots of very cool items for you that I will be listing all week. Enjoy! Yes. This one deserves its shabby title but I'm telling you- it is an incredibly striking piece that would make for awesome wall decor! What I have is a vintage black and gold painted ceiling medallion. I know so little about it- I can tell you that it is made from a composite of something- almost hand made in appearance from the back. See how rustic it is back there? It has a brown finish, but you can see"hairs" for lack of a better ... moreword of material in the mixture that it's made of. If you can enlighten me at all, please email me- because I'm clueless here. It measures a striking 25" diameter, and weighs 4 3/4 lbs. As you can see it is very fancy on the front, with high relief just accented by the alternation of the black and gold colors. There is a jagged hole in the center from when it was mounted- it's about 3/4" by 1/2" and has rough edges- not completely round. There's also two mounting holes toward the end of the center- toward the edges- on either side. Under the gold, on the front, you can see what looks like a deep pink color in the spots where the gold is worn(see photo 12) There are nibbles on the edges of the piece- the largest being 2 1/2" long by 1" deep and I'm showing it in photo 13. I'm showing other small nibbles, nicks and chips consistent with the rest of the edge in photos 14-15& 16. There's some wear to the black and gold finish that can be seen too. Aside from above, it is in excellent structrural condition- no cracks or structural issues. I think it is absolutely fabulous- you will too, but you also have the share the same love
