It's an old Victorian sewing or dresser box covered in gorgeous sage green silk and dripping with gorgeous antique bridal lace. The lids is done with a rope trim and a rosette which has flattened out a bit. Looks like the top used to be pink but has since faded. Measures 10" x 10" x 3.5" tall. Inside is covered in a pretty faded pink plaid silk. It is in very good shape for it's age considering it's about 100 years old. There are a few light spots here and there but nothing horrible. The worst I saw was UNDER the lace where you don't see it. Not on the lace but under it. There ae a few tiny little holes in the silk but nothing horrible or unusual for the age. It's a gorgeous piece to sit out on your dresser or sewing stand to display. We have so many wonderful vintage treasures that we have picked up to list. From chandeliers to wonderful vintage lighting.Glassware. China, statues and lots of great shabby and French textiles and decor.
