Heirloom Golden OAK bed frame and matching dresser- estate furniture c 1900

This bedroom set has been in my mother's family for 5 generations. I'm not sure of the exact age. I am not a dealer, but my calculations it puts it as most likely late 1800's or maximum early 1920's. There are some minor cosmetic dings and damage, but it's in amazing condition for 100+ years old, especially considering we all used it growing up. A true testament to the quality of furniture makers of years gone by. As I said. I am not a professional antique dealer and do not have the vocabulary to describe all the intricacies. I can tell you this, these pictures don't even do it justice in my opinion(but I'm not a professional photographer either) The bed will accommodate a full mattress and at least a 6'4" man. The applied carvings and scrolls(decorative moulding) on headboard and footboard are all intact ... moreand the footboard has a rolling pin top on it. Which sets it apart from all the other ones I have seen while researching this. dimensions: 81" long, 62"tall(headboard) 60" wide, 38" tall(footboard) The rolling pin top comes off for moving, storing. One end tip of the rolling pin is a bit loose, it just needs to be tapped back on with a new nail. I haven't done it because I'm hoping the person who buys this may have access to the authentic type nails and not one from Home Depot(like me) Claw feet with original wooden wheels. The dresser comes apart in two pieces. The top piece has two bonnet/hat boxes with mirrored doors and a shelf in each. With drawers underneath. These are SO cool! I purchased this item in London at auction in February 10th. 2001 for 400 pounds sterling and I had it shipped to the US with a lot of other furniture that I purchased. What an Estate find! This is an 1800's oak youth Bed table/tray. It is make of solid oak and is jointed and doweled together on the corners. The legs fold under the table top into the frame for easy storage. The piece is showing some wear around the edges but nothing drastic. For its age it is in pretty pristine condition. This Duofold Sofa Bed was produced starting around 1915 by the Kroehler Manufacturing Company of Naperville Illinois. Kroehler began producing sofa beds in 1909, and for nearly 50 years was a primary supplier of home furnishings. The bed part was made by Simmons and has a copper tag with the name Simmons manufactured into the wire structure. The seat folds out to a 47 X 72" bed. All springs and wiring are unbroken. The original owners were the Chestnut family from Waynoka. OK. Quarter sawn golden oak wood. It is a very solid piece of furniture in remarkable condition. Somebody has made sure this little bed will go with any color. I'm positive under that paint is some really beautiful oak and judging by the saw marks on the bottom and top of the legs. I'm pretty certain it is homemade. I doubt a company would have tried to sell the bed with the saw marks still on the bed. You can paint it a different color or strip the paint off and see some beautiful oak or leave it as is. It's good and solid, well built. A walnut newel post finial unfinished. I will make however many that you order. The finial is approx. 7 1/4" tall not including the 1 inch in diameter tenon on the bottom for mounting. The base is approx. 3 3/4 inches in diameter. The base can be made smaller or larger up to a point, and the widest part is approx. 3 3/4 inches in diameter. It has a tenon on the bottom for mounting. I can also make it with a double ended screw for mounting without a tenon. You can buy it in walnut, cherry, maple, poplar, oak or? Mahogany will cost $12.75 more, cherry will cost $4.25 more. Victorian carved oak full bed circa 1890

This exquisitely carved Victorian solid Oak full bed always gets a"Wow" The bed itself is 81" long and 62" wide. The headboard is 85" high and the foot board is 36" high. There are side boards and it fits a full sized mattress. It has side rails one of which is missing one piece on the top of the railing in one corner. There are a few scratches but otherwise this beautiful piece is in great condition. There is a board at the bottom of the headboard that has slipped that needs to be tapped back into place. I can arrange shipping(group) within the continental U.S.at the buyers expense.
