Dating from the 1890s era. It is in complete restored condition and all set to go in the home. We take a lot of pride in doing up our antiques nicely, and we certainly went all out here, with our head refinisher Norm doing a job of unbelievable quality on this desk. It has a tiger sawn writing surface in the center, which had to be glued back down as most desks of this age. We also had to re-glue everything, reinforce the roll, sand, strip, stain, and apply multiple coats of sealer and satin sheen lacquer on this hard-to-find 66-inch-wide roll-top desk by the Derby Desk Company of Boston, Mass. If you’ve been looking for a roll-top, and you’d like one to brag about, this one gives you all the bragging rights you’ll ever need. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. I do not know much about this size. Style or age. If you have any information that may be helpful to identifying this piece. I would very much appreciate dropping me a line or two. A normal full size bed is 54 x 75. The inside dimensions of this bed are 72 inches wide, and 78 inches long. It’s too wide to be a queen, which measures 60 x 80. We can make this into a king size bed, which is 80 x 80, for an additional $400. What this entails is putting in a center panel and center brace. Now, about the beds: They are beautiful, with unusual solid oak wreath carving of unblemished oak and berry carved crests on top. They have raised panel fronts, doubles on the headboard, picture frame molded panels on the footboard with picture frame molding underneath, little rosettes carved out of solid oak all through the front and back, and Hepplewhite style block legs. The footboards have diamond point mosaic panel inserted, with carved columns coming down the sides, and with the wreaths and tassels and all those carvings, it’s just a beautiful pair that would make a really nice-looking king bed. The size the way the beds are set up right now is 75.5 inches wide, 39 inches high at the footboard, and 57 inches high on the headboard. It’s finished in a medium oak stain, and the overall condition is great. The beds can also be taken apart to make the unusual sized twin beds, measuring 34 inches wide, by 77 inches long, if desired. I really hope that someone wants this as a king-size bed, because we love doing those up, and we do a great job!

Handmade Solid Oak Hook on Bed Rail 19" x 13" Tray Table
Offering this custom hand made solid oak tray that slides over a bed rail. A local woodworker made this for my daughter for her college dorm room. Since she had a bunk. She was able to hook this over the end wood rail for her glasses, TV remote, snacks, homework etc. She turned it in toward the bed while in use and away from the bed when she was sleeping. It is a light oak and is 19" by 13" with a 7/8" lip around it so items can't accidentally slide off. As shown in pic, it attaches by sliding over the wooden bed rail with the slots being 3 1/2" deep and 1" wide. It is heavy and VERY well made with locking dial construction. It could be hooked over anything solid that it can slide down up to 3 1/2" on and is no mre than 1" wide. It is a light oak color and was lightly used for 2 years in the dorm. The owner purchased the bed in 1970 at an auction in Thomasville Georgia which has its own tradition of excellence in antiques. The bed measures 77.50" long and 57.50" wide and 75.50" tall at the headboard. There are ornate woodcarvings on both the headboard and footboard. Original side rails are included for the be used as a standard sized bed, but a metal frame is also included that allows the bed to be used as a queen sized bed.

Antique Oak Doll Bed and Quilt
This auction is for a wonderful vintage oak doll bed with its original doll quilt and it is a real beauty. It measures 13" long x 10" wide and the headboard is 10 3/4" tall and the footboard is 7 3/4" tall. I can't say enough about how pretty this lovely doll bed is in person and the oak wood has some pretty blonde streaks running through it and this old bed displays so beautifully. It is in very nice condition except it has some nicks and a little bit of wear around the edges- in other words age appropriate wear and tear) but it has survived beautifully. It also comes with a thin little off-white mattress and a matching rectangular pillow that has an embroidered sewn on pillow cover with pretty lace trim- and it also comes with its original doll quilt which has some lovely flowered squares and it measures almost 17" ... morex 12" and it has one square on one of the corners that looks like it has yellowed with age- and as you can see I have this old quilt folded over and set down on the mattress so that as much of the pretty oak wood as possible shows because it is so beautiful. This oak doll bed& quilt are a great find and it does not take up much space and it displays really well- it is such a great find! I have more old doll beds to list.

The side rails lock into the head board and foot board and have spaces for the cross pieces. The dresser has a beveled. Tilt(or swivel) mirror. There are a couple of blemish spots on the mirror(upper right hand side) but otherwise looks good. The mirror and upper back of the dresser are removable from the base for easier transport. The old original finish does show some light wear as expected with its age. The dresser has a section of damage in the center middle measuring up to 8" wide by 3-1/2" deep. I always had either an old linen runner over it and/or an antique mirrored vanity covered it, so it was never noticeable. This bedroom set is otherwise in wonderful original antique condition but as with all antiques are not perfect but have time worn marks of character and usage they have acquired over they past 100 plus years. Originally owned by great grandparents who lived in a log cabin. This bed was inherited by the seller’s family who remember its use in a bedroom of the cabin prior to 65 years ago although no one in the family knows the date it was originally acquired. It features the original beveled mirror, elegant heart-shaped overlays, and has not been refinished(a collector's plus! Folding beds were advertised in Montgomery Ward catalogues prior to 1900. The cabinet measures 78” tall. 58” wide and 27” deep when closed, 80” deep when open. It has a removable mesh/spring support for a mattress(mattress not included) mattress opening measures 50” x 74” A sofa mattress 48” x 72” may be a good choice ... moreto allow room for linens. This is a well made and sturdy free-standing piece that moves easily on its metal casters; it does not need attachment to a wall because of its counterweights explained below. Included are 10 removable original cast iron counterweights on the back that allow the bed to raise and lower almost effortlessly with a slide mechanism. As the front of the bed is lowered to the floor. The counterweights allow the bottom portion of the headboard to butt to the upper section resulting in a 72” high headboard. The weights(12 lbs 10.8 oz. each) are easily accessible and lift out to allow less weight and ease of movement to a new location. The metal decorative plates on each sideboard with the name“Victoria Bed” swivel to become the supporting legs of the footboard end of the bed. This is a very sturdy piece of furniture with ease of operation although there are a few things to note. The solid oak cabinet has no cracks and has not been stripped or refinished. Extremely RARE Murphy Bed combination that includes built in dresser with drawers. Mirror, bookcase, drop down secretary desk and fold down bed! Incredible quality and workmanship and is perfectly clean and all original finish including glass in bookcase door which is extremely wavy glass. This is a large and heavy piece but rolls easily on it's original heavy steel caster wheels. The whole unit turns easily and the bed folds down easily also as the legs automatically fold down and lock into place. In one of the photos you will see a patent date of 1865 that is on one of the arms that holds the mattress in place. Hi; This charming full-size oak bed comes complete with headboard. Foot board and side pieces(not pictured) There is a lovely basket of flowers carved into the head and foot boards as well as some additional details. It measures 60" tall by 55" across. The matching nightstands also have the floral detailing and come with brown and white marble tops. The hardware is original and there is a drawer. Door, and shelf. The measurements are 16" wide x 15" and the height is 32 inches. There is a small divot out of one of the marble pieces which I did not notice until photographing. Turn of Century Arrow Wheel Chair, Oak w/ Wicker Seat and Hidden Bed Pan, EXC!
This would be a great medical décor piece for your collection. According to the metal ID tag on the back. This chair was made by Arrow Co. in Erie Pennsylvania, and it is serial number 96218. It is like new w/ very little use or wear, despite being around 100 years old! There is some minor wear to the foot rests and some scratches on the metal frame, otherwise mint. There is not rust on the wheels they are just dirty, and the solid rubber tires are pliable with no cracks. I did not even clean this before the pictures. It is oak construction with wicker seat and back. The foot rests can be raised and the seatback can recline completely. It measures 71" total length(reclined) 49" high(upright) and 24" wide. All levers work, and this chair is 100% mechanically. The seat also holds a hidden surprise, a bedpan! There is a tray ... moreunderneath with a latching door and a hidden pan, and the wicker seat bottom is also removable for cleaning. The porcelain pan looks brand new and never used as it still has the original sticker inside. The sticker reads, Federal New Vogue porcelain enameled ware, w/ titanium for tougher surfaces. Again, this chair looks like it was displayed it's whole life and I cannot imagine finding one better. Due to the size of this item, I would prefer local pick up only, sorry. Otherwise this piece would need to ship via truck freight which would probably cost around $200. If you cannot pick this item up, please contact me prior to bidding. Low starting bid and no reserve!
