Near Mint Condition. Vintage 1965 Jens Risom Design King size Headboard. Includes the original hardware attached to install metal style bed frame. You could easily adjust the metal brackets inwards to accommodate a queen size frame. The finish and caning are all original and in mint condition. There is a natural striation to the canning that allows for dark and light areas. On the backside of the left leg there is some wear from rubbing against a wall as can be seen in the photos. I purchased the pieces from the estate of the original owner back in the 1990's. Family members told me that the items had been purchased new in the late 1950's. This listing is for the headboard which is a for a full size/double bed. We will include the metal bed frame which is very good condition at no extra charge. The Full size mattress is also included. The mattress is in average condition as we have just used it in a guest room. This headboard is walnut with cane detailing at the top. The caning is in excellent condition. As shown. A pair of tested and working mid century headboard lights. I actually picked these up from two different estates so as you can see although they are the same lamp some refinishing work had been done to one but not the other.
