For sale is my King 2B 2102LS Jiggs Whigham trombone. Serial No. 43 464XXX. This is a great jazz horn that I played through high school and college. The trombone is lightweight, with no counterweight and a short tuning slide. It's been in the closet for a few years, and now it's time to make some room. I recently played it for the first time in a long time. And it really is nice to play. The slide is great, 9+ out of 10. There is a bit of lacquer wear and some pitting in the usual hand spots. The neckpipe has some lacquer wear, too. There are no crook dents on the hand or tuning slide. There are a couple of very small mute dents, and a small pair of matching dents just below the tuning slide, one on the bell, one on the neckpipe. King Melody C Saxophone If your not sure what it is. Look it up on Wikipedia The finish is nice and it does play. But it probably will need some pads. Serial number is 34xxx which dates to the 1910s It has a King mouthpiece which is made of wood looks like Grenadilla, maybe the original,it says King C The sax is silver and the finish is good no dents,larg dings or drops. It also comes with the case, which also looks original and is pretty good shape for the age it is.
