1970's KING SUPER 20 CORNET #572447
Getting down to the last few horns in my dad's collection. This is a mid 1970's King Super 20 Cornet in good shape. The only noticeable defect is that it's missing the connection between the thumb slide and the first valve slide. But I figured rather than pretend to fix it I would let the buyer decide if they care. It plays wonderfully without it, valves are in great shape, all the slides are free, and so on. Comes in in a Pro-tec travel case, which was the case my Dad used when carrying it around from gig to gig. While I will ship internationally. Please contact me ahead of bidding, as I have had numerous problems with people just assuming it would be cheap- insured 10 pound packages to China are not cheap, let me tell you.

For your consideration is a vintage King Junior Bb Cornet Model 1070. Serial 44xxx, produced between 1915 and 1923. There is conflicting info as to exactly when it was produced, as production of this particular model was limited and stated to be for only between 1919-1923, while the King serial number list indicates about 1915- 1919. According to information gathered from the HN White website. This cornet was known as the"Long Model" built to satisfy the needs of new players at a reasonable price, which was due to simpler engraving and less elaborate trim.
