Circa 1800's. This antique Ceramic Tile Stove is an exquisite piece that could have come right out of a Williams-Sonoma catalogue. It is covered on 3 sides with beautiful patterned emerald green ceramic tile. Measuring 30" long. 25" wide, and 40" tall, it has solid sturdy nickel-plated cast iron feet which have a beautiful aged patina. A metal tag on the front bears the name" F. Pesser Verviers" and the top lifts off for viewing the interior. The stove has a front compartment(possibly for wood or coal burning) and 2 bottom drawers. This Antique Tile Stove is in good condition with some minor surface wear. Which is expected considering the age of this piece. Antique Wrought Iron Bookends, Mission, Spanish Revival, Arts & Crafts
Antique wrought iron bookends. 6" wide, about 6 1/4" tall and about 3 3/4" deep. No markings on these pieces. The bookends don't look heavy but the bases are solid metal and they will hold up a stack of books. They are painted a swirly black and tan/gray and apparently were dipped into swirled paint and retained that look. The feet are interesting in that they are round and the corners almost give an Art Deco look but I would call they style more of a Spanish Revival look that was so popular during the 20's and into the 30's. Style of the period. There is some paint missing on the bookends on edges and on the bottom. Original condition in that they have not been repainted and retain the look when they were produced. Antique Cast Iron and Frosted Glass Porch Light Fixture
This is an antique cast iron and frosted glass porch light fixture that was on the front porch of a home built in the early 1900's in Tennessee. It was removed from the home before the home was demolished. This porch light has been stored in a box ever since. With fixture and globe attached. It is 13" in height and 5-1/2" wide(at widest width- globe) There are some areas of white paint on the fixture and globe. The globe has a strap/buckle design, which consists of black paint, and some areas with silver/gray in color(which is the color under the black paint) Three screws are still intact for attaching the globe to the cast iron wall mount fixture. The wall mount is also gray in color with some places that have black paint. Both the globe and the wall mount have areas of white paint(as if accidentally painted on while someone ... morewas painting around it on the house) There is a small crack(two lines) in the corner of the globe; however, it is still functional. There are no broken pieces. I have not found another one like it!

Vintage Proctor Economy Electric Iron No. 943 Cork Handle Works GC Look Chrome
Vintage Electric Iron- Up for auciton is a 1940's 50's era electric iron made by the Proctor co. This is their"economy model" no. 943 it has multiple heat settings for various material types. The iron was in fairly rough shape when I purchased it. It has been cleaned up/ polished but still shows minor pitting on handle frame and back rest frame. At one point I assume it was dropped and the back handle guard was broken(removed) and it produced a small crack in the cork handle(see pics) I replaced the original cloth loomed wire(included) with a rubberized plastic wire from a similar era has a two pronged non polarized plug so it overall matches well. Being sold in working condition that is to say plug it in it heats up fine selector seems to work well, I would not recommend it for daily use(no water no steam) Neat item primitive ... morelook with cork handle. Many of the antiques you will find are made of cast iron. But THIS ONE is 100% Brass with a wooden handle. It has not been cleaned, and features the patina that is desirable to collectors. These irons were originally designed to burn charcoal. You will see the holes that are drilled in to allow smoke to pour out. While also providing air flow ventilation so that the coals will continue to burn hot. I was told by an appraiser that people using these irons would often swing them from side to side, so that air could pass through the holes more easily and heat up the bottom quicker. More info about antique charcoal burning irons will be provided below) The exact date of this iron's manufacture is unknown. But the appraiser for the estate sale says that it is most likely it was used in the 1700's to 1800's. This American Beauty vintage iron is in excellent condition with the wood handle. Which is painted black, in primo condition. The cloth electicle cord is in very very good condition as well.
