Up for auction is a beautiful wrought iron twin daybed and matching twin trundle in excellent condition. The trundle has wheels for easy storage under the bed. I used this as a guest bed and also as a sofa at one point. It works great in either capacity. I bought this brand new at Dillard's Department Store about 9 years ago for $700.00. It is a heavy, high quality piece of furniture. The frame is all-iron construction. I am sad to part with it, but am moving/downsizing and must sell. As you can tell by the photos, I did not put the bed together completely for the pics. I do have all of the hardware and it was completely just a few months ago. There are minor marks on it, not very noticeable. It almost looks like a new piece of furniture. The iron frame has four parts: the two ends, the springs, and the headboard. This is for a very rare and very hard to find solid wood antique spindle bed. Wheels on the bottom with cast iron. Heavy side rails. This is an antique twin bed. Marked VONG on the rails. No other manufacturer name. Very, very old, dating to late 1800s or early 1900s. Normal surface wear. Small dent on the headboard, can be fixed, by sanding and staining if wanted, see photo, it can be repaired. This bed is gorgeous a one-of-a-kind and very, very hard to find. Rails no longer have the screws or bolts to attached, but they can be purchased and installed separately. Circa Late 1800s. We are selling the foot-board. The headboard and the two side rails only. Here is a twin bed set- fitted bottom sheet and flat top sheet from WAMSUTTA Supercale Plus. No-iron 50% cotton, 50% polyester. These are vintage sheets. Dating to the 1970s that have been in a linen closet all that time(bedroom closet-not a basement) The pattern is an generous open floral pattern with pinks. Oranges and greens(sort of a nod to those psychedelic times) The pockets on the fitted bottom sheet are 10 inches. I am including a plain all cotton vintage standard white pillow case(33 x 21) to make a complete set- we don't know what happened to the originals. Made in the USA- when top quality counted for something! I am helping an elderly relative downsize. She was a linens buyer for a major department store in her day and loved bedding!
