This is a reproduction set of French Model M43/53 Camouflage jump smock and pants as produced for the Movie'Dien Bien Phu' in 1992. These are excellent copies, and the attention to detail is amazing. The pockets; inside and out, are perfect.as is the other detail right down to reinforced armpits w/vents and the'monkey tail' The material and camou pattern is top quality, and the only real flaw is the main zipper is a little lightweight and tended to break easily on these, so recommend replacing with a more appropriate brass zipper if you're going to wear them much. This set is a very large size, and NEVER USED. The labels to write information on(such as name of actor, dates used, etc. are blank. They have never been washed, and still have the loose ... morethreads(or ropes) from the factory, and colors are not faded. The smock is a US Size 50; which is my size, but fits nice and loose so would probably fit up to a 52 comfortably. Pants are about a 48-50, and are very long. Would most likely need to be hemmed unless you're really tall. To complete the set I'm including an ORIGINAL French helmet& liner in mint unissued condition from the early 1950's, with an original piece of French parachute camou material and headband from same period, as would have been worn with the smock& pants in Indo-China and other fun places. NOTE: The helmet in the photos is not the one I'll be sending, but is just as nice. I just can't get to it to take photos right now. So you get the reproduction smock and pants, and the original helmet in the same auction. These repro. M47/53 sets are just about as rare as originals! You hardly ever see them, and when you do they're usually torn up(they really trashed them in the movie, plus were used in other films and documentaries. And I've never seen a set in this large a size!

This is a Pair of Antique Beds. All wood, believed carved, And hand painted with florals. As shown. Here's what I know for sure, These were carried from Wyoming to Oregon. Where they are located now. I don't know how they got to Wyoming. Maybe by wagon train( These beds are not damaged. And not dirty. They are just mighty aged. And have not been restored. So, authentic chic'n shabby, as shown. My intention. Was to strip and refinish. But that didn't happen. I kept these beds on hand for extra guests. Each has 2" wide Steel'L' shape brackets to hold a platform. And I just added a 3/4" thick strand board from Home Depot. Cut short for ease to 32" x 72" And these hold a ton. No prob. These beds come apart. 4 pieces each, and are easy to assemble by hand. I do not know that these size beds are called ... moretwin. I believe that they. Are a little longer and a bit narrower. These were made using Thick Wood. The Side Rails are 1.5" thick. And the footboards and headboards are 1.25" thick. Here are the measurements: The Headboard height is 47.75" 48" in height at the Center. The tea set is done in the French first standard purity. 950/1000, which is a slightly higher purity than sterling silver. The set is in a classical French form, very good looking, and an exceptionally heavy set. The gauge of metal used to make these pieces is very thick and sturdy. The set has never been monogrammed and is waiting to be presented. This was made between the 1950s and 1980s. This set is so clean, I believe this was never used! It is in mint or nearly mint condition! Each piece is marked in multiple places with the French Minerva mark for 950 silver. Which is a slightly higher purity of silver than ... moresterling silver. They are also marked on the underside with Cardeilhac, France, and the Christofle mark of the initials OC around three stars over a beetle. This set was made by Christofle, and is stamped with the French government maker's mark for Christofle. It is also marked Cardeilhac in print, because Cardeilhac was acquired by Christofle in the 1950s, and Christofle continued using Cardeilhac's name. The condition is excellent. As I mentioned above. The set is very clean inside and out. The smaller teapot's wood handle has a little play, but it is sturdy. It is classical in style. Modelled in gilt brass and featuring a large urn to the top with acanthus handles with a laurel swag between. A stylised pineapple final sits on top. To the sides are embossed panels of urns surrounded by stylised foliage. The front is polished and mounted with 1/4 spandrels and the clock sits upon hairy paw feet. Candelabra are conforming in style with 3 lights with two arms of acanthus and snuffers that sit in the central nozzle as finials when not in use. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches. It is unusual in having a large cream enamel cartouche to the centre. It is complete with original blued steel ... morehands and convex glass fitted to the egg and dart moulded bezel. The rear door is glazed to allow the movement to be seen. The French movement is by Japy Freres of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. First off. We are not furniture dealers. This beautiful antique dining room set has graced our home for over 20 years. Time goes by and we are downsizing, so it's important to us that this set end up with someone who will appreciate its beauty and respect its workmanship as much as we do. We bought this set as a favor to a friend. We do not know how old it is or where it was manufactured. Dealers selling similar pieces on Ebay have used the description Vintage French Country. What we do know is that each piece is very well built. It's all tongue and groove. The only hardware in the whole set are the hinges. Handles and lock mechanisms on the sideboard and the china, and those are all solid brass. We also have two very decorative brass keys that fit all the locks. This set is solid oak with a medium finish. The parquet tops on the ... moresideboard and the dining room table are solid. Not veneer. The set is heavily carved. Each piece has gorgeous detail. The legs of each piece are curved with carved detail. Pictures do not do this set justice. It is large. Bold and just gorgeous. The flaws mentioned are mostly hardly noticeable. We mention the bumps and bruises so that somebody is not expecting a flawless set, however we highly encourage personal inspection of these items to see exactly for yourself. These items are in generally good condition with wear and tear consistent with its age. Recently while selling an antique coffee table we had, a gentleman that has been in the business, mention that this set was probably made between the 1930's and 1950. The dining room set consists of: Dining Table with 2 built-in pull-out extensions and 4 chairs. Extensions slide under the table top when not in use. Table top is solid parquet. This is an amazing French Portico All Marble Mantle Clock Set. This clock was made in the 1860's- 1890's in France out of the highest quality marble. And bronze decorations. All the bronze pieces were hand gilded with Gold leaf, and every piece you see on this clock is 100% original to the piece, and in 100% original condition. No one has ever attempted to restore it, or re-finish it, which is a VERY rare find with these clocks. The marble is beautiful with white, pink and grays throughout. All marble pieces are also in amazing condition and 100% original to the clock. Included are the two original urns for the clock, there is some stress damage to the bottom most and top most metal pieces from 120+ years of being used, but there solid(See pictures) You usually do not see the original garnets with one of these clocks, most of the ... moretime during the years the clock becomes separated with it's urns, or the urns get destroyed. But these are the original matches to this clock, both marked underneath in the marble with the phrase"Made in France" in the same writing as the clock. One urn has a small crack in the small topmost piece of marble, it's stable, and unnoticeable. The clock itself is absolutely amazing, with 6 tall columns of marble, and the portico style free swinging pendulum in the shape of a basket of fruit, which matches perfectly with the other baskets of fruit on both the urns, and the clock itself. There are two gilded trays on each side of the dial, in beautiful condition, a unique and expensive feature for these clocks. Stings of garland string from one side to the other in the middle of the clock with beautiful gold gilding. The dial is hand painted porcelain with flowers and marked"France" there is a small knick around one of the winding arbors, as to be expected with antique clocks. The set is modelled in the round so could be displayed on a table but is also quite shallow in depth at only 5" and would therefore suit a narrow mantle shelve. EARLY SEVRES PORCELAIN MOUNTED ORMOLU CLOCK SET WITH CHERUBS ANTIQUE FRENCH 1850
Early Sevres Porcelain and Ormolu Clock Set. Silk Suspension Movement ~ French- Circa 1850 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A glorious and early original antique French clock set featuring Sevres style porcelain and cherubs. It is most exquisitely modelled in the classical style of Louis XVI. Finely chased and crisply modelled in ormolu(finely gilded brass/bronze) and mounted with Sevres style porcelain panels. Porcelain has a blue ground and is delicately painted with floral swags. The panel below the dial is painted with a delightful scene of two cherubs. To the top of the clock is a cherub marking off time. Candelabra have porcelain mounted bases upon which stand cherubs, one boy and one a girl, holding the four branches aloft as burning touch é. Branches are modelled as stylised acanthus. The clock sits on its polished ... moreintegral base allowing the reflection of the pendulum to be seen swinging within. This clock set has been impeccably prepared by our restorers and is beautifully bright and clean. Ready to display. The dial is enamel in copper. Lettered in blue with separate minute and hour rings. The finely fretted gilt brass hands are original and the hobnail bezel is fitted with convex glass. The rear door is also glazed to allow the movement to be seen. The French movement is of excellent quality and is the early design with silk suspension and outside hammer stop spring. The backplate of the movement is marked"M" for the retailer and unusually the case is also marked with the same"M" Movement is in excellent. Clean and running condition having been fully cleaned and serviced by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. Click the movie below to hear the bell and watch the clock running. Condition of the case is excellent. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration.
