Art Deco Bedroom Set Vanity w/ oval mirror, dresser, twin bed.
This is my great grandfathers and grandmothers bedroom set. It is from the late 20s. The dresser and vanity are in nice shape. There is a tiny bit of trim missing from the top right corner of the vanity. You can see it in the pictures. The full size bed holds a queen size mattress. As I show in my pictures. There is some water damage to the left front footboard, as you can see in the pictures, the veneer is lifting off a bit. A good wood person could repair this. There you go. Good old American furniture. Nice hardwood and tiger and Birdseye maple veneer. Local pick up only. Posted with

Art deco bed crafted in France in 1925. This full-sized bed was produced early in the Art Deco movement. So it includes rare styling and not the standard designs developed later in the 1920s. That helps make it an unusual piece and, to many people, a style that feels more personal and original. The design centers around expert carving and also brings out a fuller style than found in most pieces from this time frame, blending the carving with marquetry and combining decoration and architectural styles. Antique swivelling and rotating wall or bed light or table lamp in working condition. Made from brown mottled Bakelite. With a sprung metal clip on the back to attach it to a bed head or wall. It will pull out to approx. 2.5 cm. The clip rotates all the way around so the light can be moved to any position. The light swivels and can be adjusted with a wing nut. On and off switch. The fitting is in very good condition for its age with just some chipping to the safety ring. Caused by the heat of the light bulb. Original bed lamps of the famous SS Rotterdam of 1959. These were on the ship when she inaugurated in 1959. The lamps are in good used condition. They have been on the vessel for more then 40 years and have been heavily used. Still they are in fine condition for display or to be restored. 2 pc antique French deco bedroom set chest single bed extensive inlay inlaid
I am calling this French deco for style and age. But this furniture is unsigned and I believe the work of a custom cabinet maker. I believe it was made in the 1930s. The set consists of a single bed(that's what you call a twin when you only have one) and a 4 drawer tall chest. This much inlay work of this quality today would cost well over $10,000, so no whining about the price. Be sure to notice the funky drawer pulls. The inlay work is on all 3 sides of the case pieces and just check out the finials on the bed posts. As mentioned above, the spoon feet look like they have been reglued if you look closely, but no parts were changed or replaced. Still all original, just put back together. Everything else is excellent. I just can't say enough about this beautiful well crafted furniture. You will not find another set like it. Rare version Buddy L International Wrecker Truck. Deco, with threaded Wheel Nuts. Similar to Deco Style Rare Firestone Wrecker. Truck is complete except for the spare tire(these are available from other toy parts suppliers) The wrecker boom, tool boxes, wheel nuts and head lights are new replacement parts, the grille is original and has been glass beaded. The grille could be polished, plated or painted. This truck has a great look. This truck comes with 1 of my replacement Buddy L Wrecker Booms, 2 of my new replacement tool boxes as pictured. There are slots on both sides of this truck so you can put a tool box on each side as pictured. The head lights are new replacement parts, the grille is an original that has been glass beaded, you could polish or plate or paint the grille as desired. This is a 1930-1940 Art Deco bedroom set that I recently acquired. It consist of the dresser and mirror(vaneer on back side of mirror is peeling- see picture& mirror glass itself just needs a cleaning) Bureau, full size head board and foot board. It does have bed side rails but the vaneer is peeled badly so I did not bother taking a photo.They fit perfectly with the head& foot boards and I assume any bedding would cover these rails or you can peel off the remaining vaneer and paint them.All of these pieces are on small casters/wheels. There are some snall nicks and also some surface blemishes from usage and age(see pictures) The dovetail jointed drawers work nicely, the units themselves are sturdy and solid. It's painted black; not sure how long that paint has been on. But there are some rusted spots over the paint so it's been on for quite a while, if not original. The rails slip into the end board pieces and it's very easy to put together. It may take a few taps with a hammer to get it in all the way. One of the sides has a small chunk out of the piece that the rail slips into, but once it's in there, it stays in place. It would be an easy repair. Antique full/ double size brass bed- very heavy and solid. The headboard weighs 34 lbs and the footboard weighs 33 lbs. The rounded. Outside pieces of the frame are 1 1/2" square. Dimensions: 54" wide. 81" long. I purchased this in the 1970's at a flea market in New Hampshire. I am not certain of it's age. But it has an Art Deco or Art Nouveau look. It is complete with the side rails. I have never cleaned or polished it, so it has it's original patina.
