This stunning antique French textile would have once used as a bedding pelmet ~ it dates c1850 ~ it is simply gorgeous!~ The fabric used to make this stunning textile is a roller printed madder brown fabric and. I am not able to view the back of the fabric, but I believe it is also block printed. The backing on this stunning textile is the most beautiful woven, linen and cotton vichy check! ~ This pelmet is lightly quilted with a thin cotton batting in between the layers. Each edge is trimmed using the wonderful madder fabric. This textile is 100% hand stitched and hand quilted. The colors used on the front floral fabric are a very deep burgudy, soft purple madder tone, cream and dessert red. Nice Danish Mid Century Modern Walnut Full Bed Headboard Footboard Brohyhill ?
Rescued from the attic of a local estate. I am offering a beautiful, solid and hard-to-find danish modern mid century full bed. Hard to find complete with a footboard. It seems like it should be Broyhill or a competitor. The numbers on the back may indicate the manufacturer but I haven't decided them yet. Beautiful walnut grain and mid-century design in an overall nice vintage condition despite the 2 scratches. Measurements: Headboard: 60.5" x 37.25" x 1.5" Distance between the slots for the rails is about 53-7/8" which one eBayer stated would be for full size mattresses as their queen mattress is 60" wide. You could certainly use the headboard and footboard with a queen mattress but you would need to have another platform or some sort of conversion kit for the rails. Unfortunately on the headboard there are two ... morelarge scratches- 1 on each section. I think you could easily touch up with some matching stain to make less noticeable. Other than these just some minor. Normal wear. Footboard: 58.25" x 15.25" x 2.5" It is in very good condition with normal wear but nothing significant to note. Unusual SUPER RARE Art Deco wooden walnut bed headboard foot board mid-century
Presented for your consideration is a solid Art Deco inspired walnut wooden headboard/foot board set with a unique"double mirror image" wood grain pattern on both pieces( notice the mirror effect is in two sections. Both horizontal and vertical-NEVER seen anything like it before; even the lower section of the foot board has a mirror image effect with the wood pattern) I bought this set from an antique auction back in the 1990's while living near the San Francisco Bay Area. The seller estimated that this was crafted sometime in the 1940's or 1950's. The core wood seems to be walnut. It is HEAVY. And very hard. There is a veneer applied on several surfaces. To include the curved edges. But what is most intriguing is that the mirror wood pattern seen on the front of both pieces also exists subdued on the backside of the ... morefootboard, while the headboard has a different pattern. This may be due to the complexity of the footboard construction. It is curved(there is a photo included that shows this, propped up against a straight wall) and you can see a careful arrangement of wood segments in the base to help make the curve possible. The headboard is 53.75" wide and 45" tall. The footboard is 53" wide and 27" tall. This is a very unique set. I've never seen anything quite like it. It is in fine shape. But not pristine and looks pretty much as you see it. There are minor wood chips to the veneer found along various edges. But overall there are no major gouges or dents, at least in the most visible areas. At the bottom of the footboard the veneer has chipped off a little. It displays beautifully but could plausibly be restored to perfection. There are rails included with this set. It opens up in an"H" pattern. However, one of the metal supports on the footboard cracked and split. I'm not sure if it can be fixed, or replaced with a similar design. Tiger Maple Daybed Hired Mans Bed Early 19th Century Rope Bed, authentic antique
An authentic Early American maple wood Hired Mans or daybed made in the first quarter of the 19th century. This has finely turned tiger maple posts and rails with highly figured curly grain. The original rope seat support was upgraded to a very comfortable drop-in cushion built on a spring wood frame. The cushion is covered in mohair velvet and shows some wear. The only upholstery work required on this is perhaps replacing the mohair to the fabric of your preference. This measures 72 inches wide. 26 inches deep and the back is 28 inches high. The top of the cushion measures 19 inches from the floor. It is solid. Sturdy, and designed to support a lot of weight. It is an original period piece. And not made from another piece of furniture. This wonderful textile is fully intact and still retains the original top linen which would have attached it to the bed. This print is called Les Oiseaux This design has small medallions in a variety of shapes imitating cameos and intaglios which depict animals or neoclassical figures. Lovely scattered naturalistic foliage and birds decorate the ground. Six circular figures feature patterns that are found on cameos and intaglios, such as the Three Graces or Cupid riding a dolphin. The rectangular plaques contain horsemen and scenes of sacrifice, the lozenge shapes an unidentified winged figure, Asclepius. This work has not yet been attributed to any known artist. This ... moretextile is printed on a wonderful hand woven linen with beautiful uneven diameter yarns giving that gorgeous slub ~ finely woven, and printed using the root of the madder plant in a deep, gorgeous, saturated red. The red is unusually saturated for its age, so was most likely not used for many years. The linen homespun backing has a nice slubby weave. This textile is hand stitched and hand sewn with a very rare 18th century trim running up one side. Very rare to find fully intact and in such stunning condition. Exquisite 19th Century Wrought Single Size Iron French Campaign Bed. Has lovely floral detailing and scroll work. Folds flat for storage. Slightly narrower and longer than an American twin size. I can include mattress if necessary. Would be lovely in a child's room. This lovely late 1700s-early 1800s bed warmer was collected in Pennsylvania back in the 70s and measures 49” with turned walnut wood handle(36” long x 1 ¾” diameter) 11 ½” diameter x 4 ½” tall covered pan. The coal pan is copper with stepped brass lid having a stylized bird decoration engraved in its center. The lid has been polished LOTS over the centuries and the design is faint. It has copper rivet construction and the crisply turned handle has nice rings with acorn finial. You will note minor polish-through on the edge of the step of the lid(top) and some small chips in the turnings of the handle. The interior is black from use. 19th Century Tall Post Birch Rope Bed
For sale is a nice early 3/4 rope bed with bow top canopy. It looks like Birch to me? The measurements between the rails are 47" wide. And 71" long. The top of the post has been cut for some reason, but the pieces slide over the pins, see the pictures. Two of the bed bolts are also stripped, and need replacing.

19th Century Antique Gilt Bed Crown Lace Silk linens Antique Embroidery Canopy
This is a one of a kind handmade 18th/19th century antique bedcrown with linens. The Crown is beautifully done with applied Ormulu. I estimate the crown to be between 150 t0 200 years old. In excellent condition very sturdy and can be used as is with no repairs to be made. You can put this up right away. It has been recently reinforced with small blocks of wood as seen in pictures. I think the wood is walnut it is not vernerred it is solid wood. The round circumfrance is 3ft 5 inches. The Linens are antique and newer then the crown. I would estimate between turn of the century and at the latest early 1900s. The crown botton is lined in a beautiful dusky rose silk with applied silk roses in perfect conditions no rips or tears or stains. The long linens are unbelievably in excellent conditon they are double lined with delicate lace strips running ... morethe length of them in great condtion they are musty from sitting but not moldy with no rips or tears. There are some discolored spots that you see in all very old fabric that can be professionally cleaned They are very long at 9ft 6 inches The back piece that is to face the center of the bed is a pale pink single sheer linen piece with beautiful hand done embroidery as shown in pictures in wonderful condition, it has the center embrodiery and the upper and lower swag ribbon embroidery also has lovely strips of fine lace running all around and down the inner panel on each side the lace is in excellent condtion I could not find any rips or tears and the whole piece has no stains. The inner round fine lace piece that drops down from the crown does have damage as you can see in pictures there are some holes etc. The lace is very delicate and fine but could be repaired left as is or removed. All the linens can be removed and are on some sort of removable thick string they are hemmed and slip on like a drapery so it will be easy to remove them to have them cleaned. Antique Copper-Brass Bed Warmer. Circa 18th - 19th century
Here is another one of my Wives Collectibles. This is a Rare Copper and Brass Bed Warmer Copper Pan is 3" Deep with a Brass Lid that has In laid Copper bullets. The copper bullets are 1 1/2" diameter. The Pan is 8" diameter and the Lid is 9" diameter. It has a turned handle and is overall 30" long. I remember purchasing this some 40 years ago in Philadelphia. I thought then it was quite precious. Have never seen another quite like in all our years collecting. It's magnificent and is ideal for any timeworn, period home. Most of the wonderful hand repairs are made in black cotton. Some panels rich and saturated others have faded unevenly with time ~ The top has the original metal rings for hanging. This was used as a privacy bed curtain in the 18th century.
