You are bidding on a true MID-CENTURY MODERN EAMES ERA LATTOFLEX TEAK SINGLE/TWIN PLATFORM BED/FUTON MADE IN NEW YORK DURING. Measures approximately 39.5" W x 17" H x 77" L. This has been in the same family since originally purchased in the mid-1960's. In great condition considering its age. It has its original mattress with tan ticking fabric cover. No holes or major stains. The bed frame does show some wear, one chip to the veneer on one of the corners, and 2 of the slat's dowels have snapped. Believe it to be an easy fix and does not effect the functionality or integrity of the bed, you can still sit on/lay on it securely. It is ingeniously designed so that you can raise and lower the head of the bed so you can sit up and read, etc. The original rubber loop pull at the top which you use to raise and lower the top ... moreof the bed to a sitting position is torn, but still functional as well. For sale are two mid century Danish modern day bed cushions. The foam is soft and good shape in each cushion. However one is a little misshaped. The cushions are wedge shaped, and measure 35in long, 3in wide at the top, and 4.5in wide at the bottom. The fabric has no rips or tears and is in good condition. I have photographed the spots that I have found on the fabric. I believe these spots will come out with a good washing. The fabric is a printed linen, from the 5th Avenue Design Inc. This is a super cute mid century portable crib/bassinet. It's in excellent vintage condition with the only flaws being wear to the metal. Some residue on one handle, and some wear to the plastic( including some purple marks on one end) I've done my best to capture the true condition in the photos. Even the mat is in decent shape as pictured. The legs fold under for easy storage. This is a vintage piece. So I don't know if it's up to par as far as safety goes. Solid Walnut Circa 19th Century 3/4 Bed w/ Matching Trundle Bed Made in NC
The bed was once a rope bed. Both the 3/4 and trundle bed has been restored by local restoration specialist who could also repair the worn place shown on right top. Foot board turn at your expense. The bed looks fine without being refinished. I put a bright light on the area so you would be able to see it well. It was caused by many of our 48 family members who have all spent their time jumping onto bed pushing it into the wall growing up. The caster wheels were put on the bed by my Great, Great Aunt Mary in Woodland, NC to make the bed easier to move to change the linens. As a child we would run with all our might, jumping onto the two step, step stool, hurling our young bodies through the air as if we were flying. We would land with the sound of a big puff of air being pushed through the feathers in the safety of the soft, thick, downed ... moremattress. That landing was as if I was being caught in the gigantic safe, strong, catchers mit God who watched over us as we slept. Three generations and my immediate family's 18 grandchildren and 2 great grand children have outgrown the beds. We all used it as our grow and go beds from toddler age through middle school, until we became to tall for the big bed. This is a beautiful and hard to find complete signed and matching Lane bedroom set with mosaic design. Included is the 9 drawer long dresser with mounted mirror. Armoire/gentlemans chest, two nightstands and bed. It is all in excellent one owner condition with minimal wear to the top surface and a few small chips along the bottom in places. The dresser measures 78"w x 18"d x 30"h the mirror measures 57"w x 2"d x 41.25"h the armoire measures 39.5"w x 18"d x 66"h the nightstands are 30"w x 18.75"d x 22"h and the bed is 60"w x 2"d x 45"h. Antique Tiger Maple Daybed Sofa Hired Mans Bed Early 19th Century Rope Bed
An authentic Early American maple wood Hired Mans or daybed made in the first quarter of the 19th century. It is an original period piece. And not made from another piece of furniture. This has finely turned tiger maple posts and rails with highly figured curly grain. The original rope seat support was replaced many years ago with a very comfortable drop-in cushion built on a spring loaded wood frame. The cushion is covered in mohair velvet and shows some wear. This measures 72 inches wide. 26 inches deep and the back is 28 inches high. The top of the cushion measures 19 inches from the floor. It is solid. Sturdy, and quite heavy, with no problem of supporting a lot of weight. I recommend Plycon or Uship for freight shipping from zip 13066. It weighs about 100 pounds. It is lined in pink nylon with a sheer chiffon top and puffy 1/2 sleeves. the yoke is sheer lace with a satin ribbon tie. Great conditon but wrinkled. The middle pink is labeled Arial Barbizon- nylon- size small. The top is made of nylon lace with wing shape pleated sleeves and the balance of the jacket is sheer pleated nylon. Drawers are clean inside and it measures 50" x 21" h x 18"deep. The mirror has some spots of mirror loss around the outside edges. It has a small split on the top of the corner. See pics.
