DESCRIPTION: This is an unusual old cast iron toy truck. I have not been able to identify it. But it may have been made by Kilgore, A.C. Williams, or one of the companies in the title, all of whom made fine quality cast iron toys. It features wheels that roll, and may have been part of an interchangeable body set. MATERIALS: All cast iron with nickel plated grille. And white rubber tires on wood wheels DIMENSIONS: Measures about 6-¾ inches long. CONDITION: This truck is being SOLD AS-IS for parts or restoration. It sits and displays well on a shelf just as it is. However. It has several problems. There is a cross piece of the frame that is missing. This is probably where the frame attached to the body by way of a clip of some sort. There is a factory chip or casting flaw by the radiator cap. Also, the toy came from a house where the toy collection was close to the kitchen, so cooking grime accumulated on the toy. As a result, the toy is a little sticky to the touch. For sale is a set of matching Twin Brass/Iron beds from the 1920's. Included. But not shown are the box springs and mattress sets for both beds, less than two years old and hardly used. This(possible reproduction? Hubley Puppo Bank/Door-stop features the boston terrior puppy on a black bed or pillow. Painted with gold trim around the bed and a fly or bee on his side. The paint honestly looks too new to be truly vintage and may be a reproduction, but perhaps the previous owner was able to preserve it this well. It does not bear the Drayton mark as far as I can tell. There is some pitting under the paint near his face that makes me think that it was painted over, and there is paint over the screw on its back. The screw on the bottom that connects the dog to the pillow is also silver/gold tinted. So, I am not an expert on this, nor am I the original owner, so I am not sure. Either way, it's a very cute bank, new or old.

These are designed to drop in and then lock in by size tapering. The"hooks" or"tabs" are approximately 2 9/16" from center to center and they are about 3 1/8 from outside of tab to outside of tab. In good shape for their age. These cast iron bed fasts are size 11 1/2. The entire length of the brackets is 4 1/2 inches. The width of the lower portion of the bracket holes is 3/4 inches. Four(4) Vintage Metal Casters From An Antique Cast Iron Bed Frame Up for auction are four metal casters which are approximately 4 inches tall. The metal wheel on each caster is approximately 1-1/2 inches in diameter and is approximately 3/4 inches in width. The casters are designed to fit inside of a hollow tube and have a circular piece of metal that the tube sits on after they are inserted into the tube. These casters have a wonderful patina on them. Up for sale here is a very nice pair of antique 19th Century French Country figural cherub cast iron beds(Headboards and footboards only. NO rails or finials) The tops are cherubs. The middle panels are sheet steel. The panels appear to have been originally painted with a pattern. They present much better than my amateur photos. No rails or finials. One footboard top was cracked. But has been brazed(welded) back together. They have some rust. Panels have a hole or two near the bottoms. These are extremely rare beds. They would look great hanging on a wall, as garden gates, or repurposed as signs for your shop. Of course you could have some rail built and use them as they were originally intended. Simple and sturdy in design except for the acanthus wrap around near the top of each column. A rare example of a late Victorian bed which has survived in excellent condition despite all odds.
