This is an Antique Bed Warmer. It is embossed with a design that you can see on the pictures that I have posted. The total length of thebed warmer is 42" long. The pan itself is 11" diameter. It Has been used. You can tell by pictures. It looks to be Copper with Brass hardware. I did not try to clean it up. This is the way it was purchased. The back is engraved with Staffs England which stands for Staffordshire and the older B Hallmark dates this piece as an antique. From what I could find out on the internet. The handle is turned wood. I do not know what kind. One that was similar with this Hallmark was for sale for $290 dollars on internet. I'm not sure if they got that price. Antique full/ double size brass bed- very heavy and solid. The headboard weighs 34 lbs and the footboard weighs 33 lbs. The rounded. Outside pieces of the frame are 1 1/2" square. Dimensions: 54" wide. 81" long. I purchased this in the 1970's at a flea market in New Hampshire. I am not certain of it's age. But it has an Art Deco or Art Nouveau look. It is complete with the side rails. I have never cleaned or polished it, so it has it's original patina. THE RESTORATION PROJECT BEGINS In 2006. I started my search for a special and unique Antique or Vintage ¾ brass bed. Bigger than a twin and less than a standard size. In 10/2007 this bed was purchased with the brass spray painted gold and the iron main frame required a new powder coating. Inside the iron we found part of a newspaper page in Dutch. Photographs were sent to a professional brass bed restorer in Canton Connecticut and his bid is summarized. As follows: Restoration Fee: $13.650.00. Includes custom iron supports for mattress/box spring. Powder coating the iron, polish then lacquer or clear coat the brass, replace missing finials, and disassemble/ reassemble and a custom shipping crate. As a professional antique appraiser and restorer. His normal appraisal fee was $300 for a certified letter on his letterhead. Restored bed ... morevalue- $15.000 to $18,000. Wow. His cost to restore the bed and the value of the restored bed led me to develop a plan for local restoration. RESTORER PROVIDED A VALUABLE HISTORY OF THIS BED Circa 1900. A customer would order a bed from the cheapest strip down model to a bed with every embellishment available. This bed has the extras! 4 decorative ropes of roses 4 urns with ram head handles 6 wreaths with French bows 3 beaded circles on the foot stand IRON& FRENCH BRASS BED ¾ SIZE- RESTORED More about the restoration: Support rails for the mattress/box spring forged by a local iron worker. The iron bed stand portion professionally sandblasted and powder coated. Brass embellishments were professionally polished and lacquered by Noles Davis of Dallas Texas. Brass finials(20) had modern octagonal nuts that were replaced with the proper round ones drilled and tapped to 1/4– 20. I had previously thought it to be a Door knob It is in original condition and ideal for restoration It appears to me to be Art Deco I am assuming around the 1920's It is 2 1/2" diameter approx It is 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" long approx It has a single threaded hole in the stem 5/16" diameter possibly Whitworth thread The stem reduces to 5/8" approx The stem face that fits up to the door is 1" diameter It is tarnished so will need cleaning and polishing or can be left in as is condition. Antique Brass Doll Bed w Springs and mattress
About 18" long. 10/12" wide, and 17" tall. Ticking mattress w/ welting, buttoned on both sides with some minor stains- is a newer, custom made mattress in old materials. Castors are complete and in good condition. 2 of the original threaded rods that hold the bed together are bent but not enough to keep from putting it together, as you see. The threaded rods are designed to be replaced, if needed, anyway and the brass tips(knobs) thread on and off. Mattress area is 16 5/8" long. Great old bed for your special doll 15" and under.

These are USED. Not new. But, only 5 years old and work great. They were installed in my master bath and I've since remodeled and updated to a new finish and style. They have a few minor nicks, normal wear and tear, but look and work great. This is for two of the Bed/Bath knob sets that lock and one Hall/Closet knob set that does not have a lock. ANTIQUE WRAPPED BRASS BED
Very. Very old antique wrapped brass full bed. The photo shows the bed in an upstairs bedroom against a knee wall. Because of that, what you see is just the footboard and the mattress is on a modern bedframe. The headboard wouldn't fit! I found this bed a very long time ago(early 1970's) and it is complete with all post caps, cast iron rails, headboard and footboard. A few holes were drilled into the rails for a bracket to keep our mattress from sliding off. Truthfully. It isn't in very good condition but looks great(when polished) if you don't apply a microscope to it. It's far from perfect but would be a shame to just dump it. The place where the headboard is in the poorest condition is the bottom rail which isn't visible when the mattress is in place. This bed can be made to look quite nice. with a lot of TLC. ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE 1800s BED WARMER, TOOLED BRASS COVER, FORGED IRON HANDLE & PAN
Early 1800s antique primitive brass and iron bed warmer with a wrought iron loop ended handle. Rather than the more common wooden handle. The pan lid is made of brass with a hand tooled symmetric design. The pan bottom is hand hammered. The long handle is secured with rivets to the warming pan base. There are a couple dents in the pan(see photos) But it opens and closes freely. Total length is 34" pan is 10" in diameter and 3 1/2" deep. Please review photos carefully for detailed condition.

Up for sale is a used and about 30 years old solid brass bed. Queen size. Headboard and footboard. Rails included. Footboard measures 33 inches tall x 62 inches wide. Headboard measures 49 inches tall x 62 inches wide. This is solid brass and does show some tarnish on back sides. It will need polishing. It has a varnish on it and I believe that is what is coming off. To do it properly. The varnish will need to be removed and then polished again. I don't know if brass cleaner will do the trick or not. When it is made up with comforters etc it does shows well and can not see problem areas. Please ask questions before bidding.

Brass & Cast Iron Bed -- Headboard and Footboard Only - 54" Wide, Full Size
We don't list a lot of furniture on eBay. So I'm not sure where to start with this matching headboard and footboard from an antique brass and cast iron bed. So let's start with some measurements. They are about 54" wide and the headboard is 61" tall and the footboard 37" The iron cross pieces are designed with tapered conical holes where the side rails attach, while the upper parts are made of a mix of brass and iron(the magnet test yields a variety of results) suggesting that many of the parts that appear to be brass might just be a brass wash or perhaps a brass tube sleeving a heavier cast iron tube. They have some dents and scratches and discolored areas, and, although it's been a while since we set it up, I seem to recall it's pretty fiddly to put together, with those vertical slats developing a tendency ... moreto slide out of their mounting holes. Because of the bulk and weight involved. We're advertising them as"local pickup only" and we are in Cornish, Maine. However, if you really want it shipped to distant parts, then e-mail us prior to bidding, and we'll see what we can negotiate. We would, of course, entertain requests for delivery- subject to a mileage reimbursement- within a reasonable radius. A 100-mile radius, for instance, puts us close to Boston or Worcester, Massachusetts. There are also privately operated shippers in the area who might offer you a quote based on item size. Antique Bed Warmer Brass Eagle England Victorian Great Britain c1800s
Up for auction is an Antique Brass& Wood Bed Warmer. The lid of the bed warmer has an Eagle on it. This was made in England probably in the late 1800's. The bed warmer measures 35 1/2" tall& is 11 1/2" wide. Some of the brass area's of the bed warmer are discolored& there are also some scratches or scuff marks. Vintage brass headboard. All brass construction. Nice. Complex, fancy design. 80" wide and 4' at highest point. Good solid condition. All fittings( and there a lot) are tight. No cracks, gouges, dents, missing pieces, or other visible damage. Not clearcoated. Nice tarnishe, weathered, even overall aged patina. Both sides display the same. A couple of small wall paint scuff marks that should wipe off easily. Some rust bleeding from fitting joints. Probably steel for strength. Does not detract from the visual. Nice fancy headboard to reuse as bed or repurpose as garden art, wall hanging or? This is being sold as Local Pickup only. I am in Los Angeles. If you have a shipper, I will work with them. Antique cast brass finials curtain rod bed fireplace furniture restoration
Nice set of 8 antique cast brass finials. Not sure what they are from. Could be curtain rod ends. Brass/iron bed parts,or fireplace screen. Overall length is about 3" mounting flange is 3/4" long with an outside diameter of 7/8"There is a single set screw hole in each(only 2 have screws) One of the 8 finials has had part of the mounting flange cut off, but the set screw hole remains.
