antique iron or brass bed rails (#4)
Up for sale is a nice set of bed rails that were used with old iron beds and brass beds. They have the cone shaped end that many old beds had. They show a little difference in wear as seen in last 2 pictures. But the measurements are basically the same. 73-1/2" on one rail and 73-9/16" on the other(pic#2) The cone itself is 1-5/8" tall, top diameter is 7/8" and the bottom is 3/4" It projects 3/4" from square base. They are clean and straight. There are two drilled holes in one of them. But doesn't affect their function. I know that a fraction of an inch can make a difference how they fit so they may need a little tweaking( shimming or sanding) to fit your bed. Please be sure they will work for you before buying. Vintage PLEASANT COMPANY Samantha's BRASS BED
Samantha's elegant Victorian style BRASS BED complete with BEDDING in Very Good Used Condition. The bed frame is sturdy and in great shape- complete with all knobs and rubber pads at bottom of posts. There are a few small spots of corrosion(probably came into contact with moisture at some point) on the inner frame(see last photos) The mattress is tagged Pleasant Company 1993 and is clean and free of stains other than 2 tiny rust colored dots(see 9th photo) The bedspread(tagged Pleasant Company 1992) and pillow are clean. Crisp, and white- free of any stains except one spot on the lower bed skirt which came into contact with some corrosion of the frame(see last photo) The previous owner dabbed over the spot with white paint to make it less noticeable- the spot can be mostly hidden in the folds of the bed skirt. Miniature Doll House Bed Copper Brass Mattress Lace Collectable
I got this doll’s house bed from an estate I purchased last year. It is very unique due to the bed is copper and the feet/posts are brass. The mattress has a rose pattern and is quilted. It also has a lace border on the sides. Overall it’s in pretty good condition. There are some scuff marks on the bed. The mattress has some stains on the back(blue) side(see pictures) The bed measures 2 ½” wide. 3 ½” long, the headboard is 2 ¼” high, and the footboard is 1 7/8” high. This would be a great addition to any collection. If after receiving this you are not pleased with this purchase. Antique brass and cast iron double bed
Genuine antique brass and cast iron double bed. Restored and in good condition. Lightweight base in two parts sit on bed frame. Castors missing but possibly replacements could be fitted. A nice, comfortable bed with ample room underneath for storage, etc. A good, honest piece of antique furniture which is only for sale because I am decorating my bedroom and I fancy a change of style. Please note that the mattress is not included.

This Brass bed has been previously owned& used and is Sold As-Is The brass surface does have a protective coating still quite a few dark tarnish spots are visible throughout both headboard& footboard I did try Brasso with a soft cloth on a few of the dark spots and this worked great. There are also visible surface scratches on both. Overall. This brass bed is still presentable& very pretty.
