Dating from the 1870s, it has burl panels all over, hand carved crest on the very top, five different style shapely mirrors, rose quartz on the drop center and two top columns, four small drawers, one large drawer on the base and a hidden drawer on the very bottom. The burl panels are all picture frame molded on the drawers and on the inside of the drop center. It has oversize candle shelves. In my over 50 years in the business, I don’t believe I have owned this model even though I have had my share of drop center dressers.

1920-1930 Antique Thomasville Bedroom Set
Collectors Set- Family Heirloom Bedroom Set has been in my family since the 1930's and may predate that time. Handled gently. It was owned by my great Aunt and later passed down to me. The Thomasville Emblem can be found inside some of the drawers. The model number stamped on the back of each piece is L-553. The wood is in amazing condition and has never been refinished. Some surfaces show scratches on the top and could use smoothing and refinishing but overall the set is truly gorgeous. Four post bed has discoloration at bottom of a couple posts which you can see in the photo. The wood slats across the bed which hold up the mattress are the original pieces. The chest of drawers is stamped in the back with Charcoal Mahogany and the mirrored dresser is stamped 53. The handles are original. It is in very solid and sturdy. Due to it's age it has some cosmetic flaws but nothing major with the exception of the foot board. One corner was chewed on by a puppy. It does not show when the bed is made but. If you prefer you can also use regular bed rails and not use it. The set consist of a chest of drawers. Dresser with mirror, storage head board, foot board, rails and if you want it an older mattress set which is surprisingly very comfortable! We are a smoke free but. Not a pet free home.

They have been in my family for well over 100 years. I know it was in my grandmother house in Montgomery Alabama. My grand mother was born in 1881. She told me it came from a plantation. This gorgeous High Back Bed is 86” in total height from the floor to the center top of the crown on the headboard, 80” in total length and 59”in total width. The inside(mattress area) dimensions are 54 ½” in width by 76” in length and easily accommodate a standard full-size mattress but of course you should always measure your mattress to ensure proper fit. The headboard of this fabulous Burl Walnut Back Bed is graced with a beautiful floral carved center cluster ... morewith carved side panels and beautiful pillars(4)on the head board. The foot board is just as lovely as the headboard with its wide burl clad top along with its luscious recessed burl panel that is accented on each side with beautifully carved design and pillars(4) on the foot board. It measures 36” in height. 62” in width and 6”in depth. The headboard and foot board are commented with handsome bed rails with cravings. There are casters that go with the bed the wheel of the casters are carved out of wood. Next.The matching rich beveled edge marble top dresser is just as lovely as the bed. It measures 82” in total height from the floor to the top of the Crown, 31” in height from the floor to the top surface of the marble. 53” in width(beveled marble top) and 24” in depth. Antique Bedroom set ( Solid Wood with marble tops ) 5 Piece Set Beautiful
Up for auction is a Antique Bedroom Set from 1950's. This set has come from my grandparents estate. The set includes: Dresser. Night Stand, Head Board and rails, 2 Mirrors that attach to the dresser, the dresser has 2 marble tops. The dresser has a spot on the top where it was scratched from the mirror. There are some other scratches, the night stand has some scratches as well, all marks can be sanded and refinished, this set is solid wood and isn't in that bad of shape for its age, the mirrors and head board are in good condition, the marble tops for the dresser are in very good condition could just be cleaned, the mirrors still have the tags on them from when the were bought. Please see all the pictures above the set is in ok condition for its age but needs some cleaning and refinishing. If I knew anything about furniture I would ... moreso it my self but I don't. This set came from a smoke free home. The dresser has 6 drawers and the cabinets in the center open up and there is 3 pull out drawers. Antique 3 piece 4 poster bedroom set (full-size)
For sale. 3 piece antique full bedroom set, estimated 1920's, in EXCELLENT condition. Has been used continuously for the seventeen years I have owned it with no problems, selling due to lack of space. All flaws shown in pics. There is some kind of white discoloration on tall dresser, a couple of water rings. Top drawer of dresser is loose. Joint of vanity has pulled apart a tiny bit, care is needed moving it. Local pick up only, St.Louis MO area. This is my first time selling on e-bay(have great feedback as buyer) really anxious to please with this. Edited; I just remembered that the bar running between the posts on the foot board is a little loose in the middle of it(this has never caused any problems. Antique English Oak Bedroom Set Armoire Wardrobe Dresser Barley Twist Headboard
You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL Antique English OakBedroom Set/ Suite/ Ensemble. I am not an antique expert or dealer.But I was told when I purchased these pieces that they are all Victorian Style English Oak(medium) manufactured in England in the late 1800's. All pieces were purchased separately. But they"match" amazingly well. There are three items in this set: Dresser- Measures 36"W x 19"D x 38.5"H. With 4 drawers of increasing size from top to bottom. Head Board and Foot Board w/ rails modified to fit a Queen Size bed- Both pieces are 54" Wide and 1.75" Deep on corner posts. Thinner across the back. The headboard is 53.25" High and the footboard is 27.25" High. Both have a diamond design in the center panel, and 1.5" slats out to the sides, with Barley Twist on the ends of the headboard ... moreonly. There is a small screw(hardly noticeable) at the very bottom of the left footboard foot, where it had once had a small crack, bus now fixed and solid. As they did not have Queen beds back 1800's, the rails have been modified to fit a Queen bed, so the mattress hangs about 2-3" off either side of the bed- this is very common for people who have an antique head and foot board, and is not noticeable once the bed is made up. Armoire/ Wardrobe- Measures 47"W(plus 2.5" on each side for the crown) x 18.5"D x 80"H. This is a beautiful piece. And VERY functional. Has a hanger bar across the interior along with 5 hooks for miscellaneous items. Also has a large drawer underneath for storage. The design is shown in the close-up(photo 2) and there is a beveled glass mirror on the door. The wardrobe actually comes in three pieces that sit on each other- base, main cabin, crown- so it is easier to move than it looks! There are a couple small"cracks" in the wood that are just natural from age, but overall it is is excellent shape as are the other pieces of the set. Please note: Mattresses. The set consists of two outlandish and heavily overcarved, oversized wall mirrors, a one-drawer night stand, a ladies vanity/writing desk, a most unusual drawer configuration on a six-drawer chest, and a lovely tall six-drawer chest, and the rarest part, the twin matching beds. All of the cabinet pieces have had the tops re-sprayed to bring out the gorgeous grains. I thought long and hard about breaking this set up, because these beds would bring premium money. They are gorgeous, with the curved footboards, bold headboards, ball and claw feet, and carvings all around the footboard, headboard, and every place. After considering the high quality of the dressers and other pieces, I decided to keep it together and sell it as a set. This is a very nice. Well made, sturdy, solid, vanity set from the 1920's or 1930's I think. The mirror is nice& clear, there are a couple minor scratches that could be polished over easily. I don't know what kind of wood it is or what the style is called. The vanity with the mirror measures approx 57" tall x 34" wide x 21" deep. The matching chair measures approx 36" tall x 15-1/2" wide x 16" deep. There is no makers mark or tag that I can find on this set. The wood on the vanity surface is a beautiful wood grain design. There is burled wood along much of the trim work. The extreme detail put into this design is amazing. The mirrors have fabulous etched glass on them and the dresser and vanity have gold mirrored glass below them as well. There is NOT one thing that isn't UNBELIEVABLE about this set including the price for such quality! The hardware is all original and is celluloid. The foot board has had some repair work done to it but it isn't anything a quilt or blanket throw wouldn't hide if need be. There is normal wear and tear that should be expected with furniture of this age. But in my opinion it adds character to it! Please note. Complete 5 piece bedroom set includes bedframe with handcarved head and foot board. Very large Armoire with mirror door, two marble top night stands and one marble top dresser with mirror. Bought in Brussels and brought over to the States in 1995. The set is over 100 years old- turn of the century(1890- 1910) Mattress is included.
