I don’t like to always say this, but it resembles a piece from Horner although I don’t believe it to be made by Horner. It is certainly a high-end quality piece. It has an extra heavily 1.25 bevel edge mirror that swivels and is in good condition. The mirror is wrapped around by a solid brown mahogany frame with carvings all the way around, rope twist going up and the very top corners having angels carved in both sides. The base has a beautiful rose quartz bevel edge marble top. The miniature knobs on the base look like miniature doorknobs.

Which consists of a large dresser and a matching chest of drawers. The ... moreset is crafted from an unusual color of wood, which I think might be Pecan as it is lighter in color than most other woods and has a fine grain, somewhat similar to Walnut. The dresser has 8 full size drawers and three smaller drawers on the top. The middle drawer has only a key hole to open it while the others have matching drawer pulls. The drawers all feature dovetailed woodworking. The chest of drawers has 6 full size drawers with the top drawer featuring a lock(the key is included and taped inside of the top drawer and visible in one of the pictures) I'm uncertain if the one key works on both locks but I think they would as the key isn't a complicated design. Both pieces of furniture have glass tops that are in good shape. Both pieces feature designs created on the top by using different colored woods and grain patterns, giving a nice break from the solid color that the main furniture body has. The dresser's top left drawer features the Baker metal logo plaque on the inside. The furniture is in very nice shape but there are a few scratches and scuffs that need pointed out. There is a small square piece of veneer(about 1 inch square) that is missing along the bottom edge of the dresser, a little to the right of center. There are also a deeper scratch on the bottom right leg of the dresser and bottom left leg of the chest of drawers. These are shown in the photos. The furniture would benefit from a good cleaning and possible waxing.I'm not certain what type of cleaning or maintenance would be appropriate. Please look carefully at the photos to get a better idea of the true condition this nice old set is still in.I would guess this dates back to the 60s or early 70s. The Vanity measures 62.5 inches in height, 48 inches in length, 31 inch height to the table top, 20.5 inches in depth, the mirror measures 42x27.75 inches. Antique 17th century French 5 piece bedroom set
This bedroom set was purchased by my parents over 20 years ago from one of the leading antique stores in southern California for close to 20.000.00. At various points in its history, before being purchased by my family, restorations were completed. Not all hinges match(one hinge broke which is why one door off the armoire is presently removed) The bed was modified to fit a queen size mattress. An exquisite antique bedroom suite all original dating to the mid to late 1800's. This is a 3 piece set made from walnut. Burl walnut and veneer and accented with marble and original hardware that comes with the following pieces. Bed: The stunning bed is sure to be a focal point in the room. The headboard stands 70" high at the back center. It is 65" wide at the widest point. The footboard measures 38" in height at the center. The carved bird motif on the headboard matches the motif on the footboard. The upper edges of the headboard are done in an elaborate acanthus leaf pattern and a matching pattern surrounds the birds in the center. The details on the birds is incredible with finely details individual feathers. There are losses to the veneer on this and there is also a section of wood missing on the carved back area. ... moreThe footboard has a metal strip on the back of it holding the two boards together and there is a paper coating it that has losses. There are age and use appropriate dings and scratches to the frame that one would expect to find on an item of this age. Dresser: The dresser has a beautiful black and gold and white veined marble top. This is one solid sheet of marble. There are some light scratches on the marble but there are no cracks in this piece. The dresser stands 37" high to the top of the marble slab. It is 36.25" wide and at the widest depth it is 21.5" It stands 74" high to the top of the mirror at the center. There are some light losses to the carving and scratches from use on this as well. There are cracks on the side but they do not affect the integrity of the piece.This also has the same matching cross diamond pattern on the sides and front as seen on the head and foot boards of the bed. The edges are also trimmed with an acanthus motif. There is a single drawer above two doors that open to reveal shelving. There is a lock on this and it does work. I have up for sale a very nice vintage original circa 1920s- 40s Cedar Chest. The chest is in very clean original condition! It measures approx 45-1/4" long. 20" deep, approx 19-1/2" tall which includes the 1" castor height. The chest is in Excellent Condition- nice clean original finish- strong& sturdy- has a flat top which would be strong enough to sit on- that is unless you are over 300 lbs then I would not advise it. Some normal light age wear as one would expect. The only damage to note is a fairly inconspicuous chip/ slivered off piece- located on the front lower right. Shown up close in pics 10& 12. This is not something that is very noticeable at all, the sliver was done many years back and it has been stained over and the only way you will notice it, is if you look upclose with scrutiny. There is some ... moreslight wear to the metal bands, but its very light- nothing serious. The hinge works perfectly and the little metal elbow for holding the top up, when opened,works just fine. I do not have the key for the lock and not sure if the lock works. GORGEOUS Antique 4 Piece Bedroom Set Solid Wood Jamestown NY
This is a set that has been in my family for over 40years. It is a solid set and Very Heavy. It has been refinished 25years ago. Still looks Beautiful! It does have some chips here and there. The back of the Armoire is replaceable. It is screwed on the back. there are two pieces missing that stand in between the two shelves, you can have someone make you new ones, I used to have a small T.V. inside. The shelves are adjustable with L shaped brass brackets. The Inside top drawer of the armoire still has the gold velvet removable sheet, like a cardboard, and so does the ladies dresser on both ends. I just noticed when I was looking for the manufacturer's tag that the back panel of the Armoire is replaceable, it is screwed on. Vintage Antique Pink Depression Glass Ladies Bedroom Candlestick Lamp
Antique pink depression glass candlestick style lamp. The electrical cord has been replaced. The lamp works. It is missing the matching pink depression glass shade. The green metal has discoloration and what looks like rust. There are no chips or cracks on the base at all. I have not cleaned the lamp. I do not know the proper way and I did not want to damage it. Measures approx 4" x 4" on the under side of the base and 9 3/4" tall from base to the top of the green framing(where the shade is held) I do not know how old this lamp is. But I know it is really old. Will wrap the base especially well with lots of bubble wrap.

This is a beautiful three-piece original finish Victorian marble top bedroom set with white and gray grain marble inserts on the three-drawer ... moremirrored chest and commode purchased out of a local home here in Maine. The three pieces are unique dating from the 1880’s. With the unusual crest on all three items: the full-size bed, the wash stand and the dresser all look like they have a curtain valance with a top crest. There is tombstone notch molding on all three items, with original ebony T-handle hardware, dovetail drawers, and black ebonized finish on the panels on the bed and dresser. It’s in its original finish, and the most unique thing about the set is that the customer we bought it from bought it out in California years ago and brought it back to Maine, and it turns out it originally came from Maine! The owner saw pencil marks and a paper tag that read“Garcelone– Auburn, Maine. The wash stand has a large dovetail drawer, two burl walnut panel doors, all original hardware and incise carving all around. It has a molded walnut edge on the marble that is 2 inches wide with a beveled edge, and a beautiful detailed backsplash that is 12 inches high. This well-cared-for California Mission style hand-painted dresser. Was purchased from a high-end antique shop in Sacramento, CA in 1990. It has since graced one of the guestrooms and has only been used a few times, so it is in just beautiful vintage condition. The tag from the antique store is still on the back of the mirror and it says"Monterey Bedroom Set" That is the only marking or signage I can find on any of the furniture. It is all made out of pine(with a light secondary wood inside the drawers) so is fairly light weight, and shows the wonderful knots and grain of the pine wood. The hand painting and carving is just charming, in muted greens, yellows, and coral. the handles on the dresser are carved wood and the apron of the dresser has beautiful detail as does the dresser top and all the pieces really. I love the beige, ... moreblonde, light tan wood stain. There are very few nicks and scratches, it is almost vintage pristine. The back of the dresser shows some water stains. I don't know what this is from, as it was there when I bought it and doesn't show as the back is against the wall. This set includes the headboard(I have it on a queen bed at this time, but it was org. made for a full; but can also be used on a queen) the headboard is currently secured to the wall with two screws. If you want to buy rails for it, the slots are there. There are even queen conversion metal frames that you can buy. The mattress and bedding is not included in the sale.
