it is the late 1800's antique bed- headboard. Foot board, side boards. We believe it is made of mahogany with inlaid woodwork of walnut? Not 100% sure however it is quite heavy. Not in perfect condition, we would say fair condition or has been loved: it is an odd size apparently. Side boards are 77inches in length. Seems to be an UK/Ireland queen? Vintage Off-White MATELASSE Bed Spread with Fringe 104" x 91" Full/Queen Antique
This is a beautiful. Vintage, heavy cotton matelasse' bedspread for a full-size or queen-sized double bed. It generously measures 104" x 91" and that does not include the fringe. This spread was purchased at an estate sale so I washed it by machine and dried it in the dryer and it came out beautifully but a couple stains(rust?maybe) near the top did not wash out. I pictured them in the last photo.

Antique brass and iron canopy bed. Aesthetic Movement era with stylized sunflowers on the headboard and a brass plaque depicting the Madonna and Child on the footboard. Originally from Malta, brought to the US in the 1970s. Originally a double bed, the rails have been lengthened to fit a queen size mattress. The width has not been altered. A queen size mattress fits nicely. There are hand-painted flowers twining up the canopy posts, some are worn off with age, others are still there. Beautiful old patina to this bed and everything is original from the finials down to the casters at the bottom. All rails and parts are straight. Antique Bed, restored and modified to modern Queen Size
We bought this bed from a reputable antique dealer in San Francisco about 15 years ago. The dealer restores antiques and specializes in modifying beds for modern mattresses' I do not remember the provenance of this piece but I believe it was made in England in the 19th century. You can see it is very ornate without being over-the-top in wood carvings and frills. It is very stable. Though it creaks a little due to a small crack in one rail near where it meets the footboard. I've tried to show where the restorer extended the original rails to make the piece longer for a US queen size mattress. Our teenage son wants a more modern bed, having inherited this one from his Mom and Dad. We're not selling it with the mattress and box spring; just the wooden bed is being sold. Sturdy, but soft. Appears it has never been used. Sheet is yellowed at the fold lines where it has been folded for many years. Shades of olive greens, browns, greys, so unique and very rare, the other side is a splash and blast of intense color with contrasting paisley like border and a mixture of the fabric from the other side. The footboard, headboard and sides rails also feature a carved floral fretwork. The footboard also features turned beaded spindles below a barley twist shaped footboard rail. Above the bed frame, the barley twist tapered posts support a protruding carved floral dentil canopy. There are very pretty floral motifs sitting at the top of the posts. This bed has a mid-brown colour it boasts the original polish, which is why it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This bed would look very good in either a contemporary or traditional setting. Description of item for sale: This extra-large. Elaborately carved walnut bed is in the French Rococo style of Louis XV. It's from France and it dates to the late 1800's. The bed is constructed from solid walnut with walnut veneering on the flat surfaces. Both the headboard and footboard have bombe(curved three dimensional) medallions with roses in their centers. The warm walnut coloring is outstanding and has a beautiful finish. This is a generously sized, high quality bed that has been converted to accommodate a queen size mattress: t he queen size metal frame replaces the original wood rails. This bed is in very good antique condition: there are minor chips and scratches consistent with the bed's age. A few small water marks and several small bubbles in the veneering(see photos) Dimensions: the headboard is 68" tall and ... more70" wide. The footboard is 39" tall and 70" wide.
