This is a very unique(and adjustable) lamp and has"Hubbell" on the switch(see ... morepicture) This item stands about 7" tall without the shade or bulb and around 10" with bulb and shade(came with a 25 watt bulb which is not included) and weighs a bit under two pounds. To my surprise this lamp is adjustable in heigh t. The metal base unscrews to make this lamp go from 7" up to about 9 1/2" 12 1/2" with shade and bulb) This piece shows great patina throughout and is being left to next buyer as to how much cleaning is to be done. The wiring on this lamp is definitely older and may need to be redone. As you can see from one of the pictures it does(or at least did) work when I carefully and cautiously tested it! I cannot guarantee that it will continue to work without rewiring. That being said I am including pictures to show the plug and socket wires. Some fraying of the cloth cover is evident at both ends. I would rather err on the side of being cautious but the rest of the cord seems to be in fairly good shape. No tape jobs or cuts. The"HUBBELL" switch seems to turn nicely and has great on/ off clicks. The shade(which is non metallic) sort of snaps around the bulb. Pictures will show this mechanism on the inside of the shade. I am not sure of the age of this lamp. But I knew it was something different and unique when I saw and obtained it. Hopefully you will too and give it a good home. The carvings themselves are an art statement that would likely cost more than the entire sideboard. This is a great collectible piece of oak. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 25 inches deep, 39 inches high to the base and 86 inches high overall. The mirror glass size is 39 inches wide by 17 inches high. The desk comes with four raised panel dove tail drawers that retain all the original hardware. The center where the legs go have a reverse cove carving, which I have never seen in oak. It has a scallop bottom trim base, raised panels all the way around and a wide bevel edge on the solid tiger sawn oak top. The only negatives I see on the desk is that there is a little wear on the edge of the top from rubbing against something and there is a split going down the center of the top. We most likely could pull the top off and repair the top, which wouldn’t make a huge difference, but it is an expensive repair. The desk itself is high end quality.

This is a real beauty like nothing I have ever seen. The wood is in extremely good condition no bad spots on the outside considering it is over a hundred years old. Everything works good no stains. No real issues except maybe the mirrors are a little foggy and some of the back panel has been replaced on the dresser which is not a big deal. It was a real professional job There is a small hole in the inside of the armoire on the left top as shown in picture. This exceptional antique furniture piece has been handed down through the seller’s family and is not a reproduction. Originally owned by great grandparents who lived in a log cabin. This bed was inherited by the seller’s family who remember its use in a bedroom of the cabin prior to 65 years ago although no one in the family knows the date it was originally acquired. It features the original beveled mirror, elegant heart-shaped overlays, and has not been refinished(a collector's plus! Folding beds were advertised in Montgomery Ward catalogues prior to 1900. The cabinet measures 78” tall. 58” wide and 27” deep when closed, 80” deep when open. It has a removable mesh/spring support for a mattress(mattress not included) mattress opening measures 50” x 74” A sofa mattress 48” x 72” may be a good choice to allow room for linens. This is a ... morewell made and sturdy free-standing piece that moves easily on its metal casters; it does not need attachment to a wall because of its counterweights explained below. Included are 10 removable original cast iron counterweights on the back that allow the bed to raise and lower almost effortlessly with a slide mechanism. As the front of the bed is lowered to the floor. The counterweights allow the bottom portion of the headboard to butt to the upper section resulting in a 72” high headboard. The weights(12 lbs 10.8 oz. each) are easily accessible and lift out to allow less weight and ease of movement to a new location. The metal decorative plates on each sideboard with the name“Victoria Bed” swivel to become the supporting legs of the footboard end of the bed. This is a very sturdy piece of furniture with ease of operation although there are a few things to note. The solid oak cabinet has no cracks and has not been stripped or refinished. It has some water staining from plants placed on top in times past(see photos—this is not visible when the unit is closed) The decorative heart-shaped carved onlays on the front of the cabinet are all secure and beautifully accent the piece.

We can make this into a king size bed, which is 80 x 80, for an additional $400. What this entails is putting in a center panel and center brace. Now, about the beds: They are beautiful, with unusual solid oak wreath carving of unblemished oak and berry carved crests on top. They have raised panel fronts, doubles on the headboard, picture frame molded panels on the footboard with picture frame molding underneath, little rosettes carved out of solid oak all through the front and back, and Hepplewhite style block legs. The footboards have diamond point mosaic panel inserted, with carved columns coming down the sides, and with the wreaths and tassels and all those carvings, it’s just a beautiful pair that would make a really nice-looking king bed. The size the way the beds are set up right now is 75.5 inches wide, 39 inches high at the footboard, and 57 inches high on the headboard. Antique Oak Doll Bed and Quilt
This auction is for a wonderful vintage oak doll bed with its original doll quilt and it is a real beauty. It measures 13" long x 10" wide and the headboard is 10 3/4" tall and the footboard is 7 3/4" tall. I can't say enough about how pretty this lovely doll bed is in person and the oak wood has some pretty blonde streaks running through it and this old bed displays so beautifully. It is in very nice condition except it has some nicks and a little bit of wear around the edges- in other words age appropriate wear and tear) but it has survived beautifully. It also comes with a thin little off-white mattress and a matching rectangular pillow that has an embroidered sewn on pillow cover with pretty lace trim- and it also comes with its original doll quilt which has some lovely flowered squares and it measures almost 17" ... morex 12" and it has one square on one of the corners that looks like it has yellowed with age- and as you can see I have this old quilt folded over and set down on the mattress so that as much of the pretty oak wood as possible shows because it is so beautiful. This oak doll bed& quilt are a great find and it does not take up much space and it displays really well- it is such a great find! I have more old doll beds to list.

Antique solid oak bed and matching dresser. The bed has the original rails(and cross pieces) and fits a full size(or double) mattress and box spring. The side rails lock into the head board and foot board and have spaces for the cross pieces. The dresser has a beveled. Tilt(or swivel) mirror. There are a couple of blemish spots on the mirror(upper right hand side) but otherwise looks good. The mirror and upper back of the dresser are removable from the base for easier transport. Originally owned by great grandparents who lived in a log cabin. This bed was inherited by the seller’s family who remember its use in a bedroom of the cabin prior to 65 years ago although no one in the family knows the date it was originally acquired. It features the original beveled mirror, elegant heart-shaped overlays, and has not been refinished(a collector's plus! Folding beds were advertised in Montgomery Ward catalogues prior to 1900. The cabinet measures 78” tall. 58” wide and 27” deep when closed, 80” deep when open. It has a removable mesh/spring support for a mattress(mattress not included) mattress opening measures 50” x 74” A sofa mattress 48” x 72” may be a good choice ... moreto allow room for linens. This is a well made and sturdy free-standing piece that moves easily on its metal casters; it does not need attachment to a wall because of its counterweights explained below. Included are 10 removable original cast iron counterweights on the back that allow the bed to raise and lower almost effortlessly with a slide mechanism. As the front of the bed is lowered to the floor. The counterweights allow the bottom portion of the headboard to butt to the upper section resulting in a 72” high headboard. The weights(12 lbs 10.8 oz. each) are easily accessible and lift out to allow less weight and ease of movement to a new location. VERY RARE Antique Oak Murphy Bed Dresser Secretary Desk Book Case 1800's
Extremely RARE Murphy Bed combination that includes built in dresser with drawers. Mirror, bookcase, drop down secretary desk and fold down bed! Incredible quality and workmanship and is perfectly clean and all original finish including glass in bookcase door which is extremely wavy glass. This is a large and heavy piece but rolls easily on it's original heavy steel caster wheels. The whole unit turns easily and the bed folds down easily also as the legs automatically fold down and lock into place. In one of the photos you will see a patent date of 1865 that is on one of the arms that holds the mattress in place. This is simply a wonderful piece of furniture and history during a time of pride of craftsmanship when things simply were not disposable and has thus survived this long for that very reason. Hi; This charming full-size oak bed comes complete with headboard. Foot board and side pieces(not pictured) There is a lovely basket of flowers carved into the head and foot boards as well as some additional details. It measures 60" tall by 55" across. The matching nightstands also have the floral detailing and come with brown and white marble tops. The hardware is original and there is a drawer. Door, and shelf. The measurements are 16" wide x 15" and the height is 32 inches. There is a small divot out of one of the marble pieces which I did not notice until photographing. Original old beautiful ornate antique carved oak bedroom set which dates to the period 1880-1900. This set is from an old Michigan farmhouse that was closed up for more than 20 years. Are solid oak, and date from the late 1800's. The bed is a full size, has great carvings and measures 50 inches tall for the headboard and 38 inches tall for the footboard. The low antique two drawer chest dresser with mirror measures 48 inches long, 20 inches deep and 22 inches tall. The mirror with comes off measures an additional 61 inches. The dresser part makes a great tv stand, and the mirror can be used separately. The drawers are dovetailed and the dresser still has it's original brass pulls and keyhole covers. The dresser may have had a hat box attached to the top that went side by side with the mirror, but now the mirror is centered on the dresser. Beautiful Victorian era- 18th century cradle. It was made in America near Lancaster Pennsylvania. This rocking cradle is definitely hand made. And most likely Amish built.
