This bed has a shaped crest rail of gorgeous crotch mahogany, underneath the crest are three inset panels topped with Gothic style arches and half drop finials. Their are a couple of chips of missing mahogany on the headboard~see picture.The bed which was originally roped and still has the knobs. The solid cherry post are topped with flame finials. The measurements are 83 inches tall at post, 71 inches tall at headboard, 58 inches wide and 79 inches long. The mattress area is 72 inches long, and 51 inches wide. The weight is approximately 100 lbs. This is a great bed the crotch mahogany is just outstanding. This bed would add WOW factor to any bedroom. It is sturdy and ready to take its place in your home. This is a king size headboard. It is made of oak wood and has been custom made. The finish was put on by hand and is rubbed to give a distressed effect. It is antique white with tufted wedgewood blue fabric style in the Country French genre. This was never attached or bolted to a bed frame so there are not any screw holes or drill holes in the wood. It can be used just as it is or you can have the fabic changed or repaint it yourself if you are handy. The width is that of the king size bed and the height is 47 inches at the heighest point. OK, I have two of them, one hanging on the wall in my dining room, and the other sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall in my bedroom. This is an older piece and is the headboard only of an antique baby bed or crib. It is all metal. The metal panel has the original paint with a fabulous oval design in the middle with a two precious cherubs with wings, two white love birds and petite pink ... moreroses and flowers with touches of aqua in the background. There is little accents in the corners and other detailing. The paint is a little chippy, with some peely paint, a little rust, scratches, and scrapes, as I show. The colors are fabulous with the creamy white background, antiqued gold accents, and pink and light blue in the center. There are three little gold rods at the top. The center one is missing the little knobs. To hang it, you would just put a couple nails in your wall and hang it from the openings at the top piece. This is a very hard piece to find, and what a statement it would make in your home. Everyone is always complimenting me on mine. Perfect anywhere in your home in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 40" tall by 24" wide. That is over 3 feet tall. It weighs about 16 pounds. Antique Parisian Rosewood handcarved headboard, footboard and rails Single/Full
This stunning hand carved and sumptuous bed frame was originally built by a seemingly romantically inspired French furniture maker in Paris in 1909. There is a stamp on the headboard. Which has faded a bit, but you can still see the date and address of the French furniture maker who must have been so proud to put his stamp on this beautiful bed. The photos do not reflect the beauty of the wood and carving but if you are into finely carving and beautiful deep wood tones, this bed is for you. It includes headboard, footboard and side rails. The bed frame will need a platform(I had a custom one made for less than 100 pounds) and so the size of the bed can be adjusted from single to full as desired.

French walnut headboard with very nice parquetry inlay. good overall condition as per photos. With the usual wear. Commensurate with age. Pretty solid condition but could. Do with a good clean and polish. The parquetry is in good. Condition with no lifting of the veneer. Would make into. A very nice headboard but you would have to make and fit. Your own rails and footboard etc. There is a small section. Of the corner moulding missing off the bottom of each end. But any decent carpenter could replace this quite easily. There is also some faded round marks where there has been. Brass rosettes fitted on the bottom corners but these are now. Missing. Approx. sizes are. Antique brass and hand-painted milk glass headboard lamps(pair) with brass shades. Glass is white with hand-painted pink and green rose design. All original and both in working condition. I am not certain of the date on these. Believe they may be from the 1880's? Glass measures 2 5/8" wide 1 3/8" high. Shades measure 6 3/8" across bottom x approximately 4" high. Shades have some tarnishing/greening- I have never cleaned or polished them. Just dusted when not stored.

Antique. Cast iron, side board hardware for antique headboards. These are believed to be a universal type bracket that join to many of the oldest headboard brackets. These are designed to drop in and then lock in by size tapering. The"hooks" or"tabs" are approximately 2 9/16" from center to center and they are about 3 1/8 from outside of tab to outside of tab. This could be very confusing.if you measure your existing bracket from top of"notch" the two places where the side board bracket fits into) to top of"notch" that will be"on center" If yours measures somewhere in the 2 3/4 range these should work. This old Victorian door in the Eastlake Style has been stripped of all paint and is ready to finish in any way you want. It is constructed of heart pine and is in very nice vintage condition and bears the original porcelain knob and escutcheon plate. It measures 33 ¾”w x 87 ½”h x 2” thick. Opening for glass 22” w x 46 1/2”h. It features carved bullseye and scalloped detail on one side(lower left bullseye has some damage- see last photo) and raised panels on the other. I have seen these used as headboards(twin bed) But could also be installed as a pier mirror in a hallway or entryway. If used as a pier mirror, you can also add some old hooks. HELLO. here's a Nice antique Headboard in original finish from the early 1900's up for sale.i bought a complete bed several years ago realizing they were not an exact match.So today I'm selling the Headboard and footboard in separate sales. Ok the headboard measures 57" wide and 64 1/2" tall. I believe at one time it was a 6-7 foot headboard and someone cut it down, because they added an exra slot for different rail height. The wood top and carvings were not altered, just the leg height. It was also screwed into the wall at one time. 2 small holes, These are nothing terrible but should be mentioned. Stunning Wood Antique French Barbola Roses Carved Bed Musical Curved Headboard
Gorgeous antique bed frame loaded with roses and musical instruments! Headboard and footboard are curved and side rails have thick roses on each end. This is a spectacular French bed. The inside measurements are. the headboard measures 50" tall x 59" wide. the footboard measures 31" tall x 59" wide. The inside measurements are 77" long x 55" wide so should fit a full size mattress The bed has been painted white and there is a little bit of gray paint on the inside of the headboard. Gorgeous antique bed frame acquired from original owner's estate in Texas. This bed set includes a headboard. Footboard and two side rails. Being an antique. It most certainly looks the part, and is in good condition. The headboard and footboard have curved tops with the most beautiful pewter colored cameo silhouette. This is truly a one of a kind find. There are no missing parts and assembly is easy because the rails fit together like a jigsaw puzzle(see picture) I was able to assemble this all by myself. Being an antique. There is a small amount of rust and aged patina on the headboard, but nothing that would affect the functionality of the bed. I believe the patina's appearance makes it more appealing and wouldn't change it but some might like to sand and paint. Antique vintage german porcelain half doll hanging headboard silk light lamp
Here is a lovely antique doll headboard lamp. Vintage rosy pink fabric panels stitched on a metal frame with a Germany half doll attached to the top of the lamp. This type of porcelain German doll was also used for the early doll pin cushions. The doll has a light green bodice while she's holding roses. Her skirt a light pink satin dress with rosebud trim and lace. The front of the lamp is muted rosy-tan color with embroidered flowers. The sides do have some tears due to age(being that you view the light from the front when it's up against your headboard. It's not as noticeable but they're there and I wanted to point it out) It has a pull chain socket for turning light on and off, 2 steel loops for hanging over the headboard. The lamp works well and lights up, the pull chain works well, the light bulb is included. Antique Mahogany Headboard - Queen Size* (w/ stainable conversion brackets)
Up for auction is an antique mahogany headboard from the B.F. Huntley Furniture Company. Dating from the 1940s. This piece is still in good condition. As is often the case with older pieces, this one has some scratches and dings on it, and a drip of white paint in one corner. On the back of the headboard, the old finish is flaking off in some areas, but it still looks very nice on the front(though perhaps not quite as shiny as when it was first made) The piece retains its original Huntley Furniture marker and the item number is also stamped on the back. Since the sizes of antique beds can differ from what we use today. I created some brackets that can be used to adapt this headboard to a modern Queen-sized frame; I will include these along with the headboard. The middle panels are sheet steel. The panels appear to have been originally painted with a pattern. They present much better than my amateur photos. No rails or finials. One footboard top was cracked. But has been brazed(welded) back together. They have some rust. Panels have a hole or two near the bottoms. These are extremely rare beds. Carrollton Furniture antique bed frame - headboard, runners, footboard
This bed has been in my family for a long time. But I can't take it with me to my new place. I believe that it's Victorian and bird's eye maple, but I'm no expert! It was made by Carrollton Furniture Mfg from Carrollton, Kentucky. It's a full size bed with a tall headboard. It's seen wear and tear over the years, but most of the filigree is still intact and the varnish is in pretty good shape. It comes with matching runners and a footboard.

Antique Dresser Chest Headboard Footboard Bench
In good shape. Wear expected from typical use. Damaged rear leg on Chest of drawers has been repaired. The headboard and footboard are in good shape but the side boards are missing. There are 2 adaptor brackets that must have converted the bed set to metal rails but replacement wood rails are redily available. I don`t have much information on the specifics of when these were built but they belonged to my great grandparents at least as far back as the 1940`s, I am doing research to determine more accurate information. My asking price may change if I can determine the age and manufacture. I have no expertise in shipping an item of this size but I will be glad to assist you if you arrange for pick up.
