Item Details Item: Pack of 2 x Replacement BOLTS For French Beds& Armoires Pack of 2 bolts + 2 threads + 2 washers. Bolts measure 11cm in length. 7mm diameter, thread measures 6cm in length. These are used as replacement bolts and threads for antique French beds or French Wardrobe/ Armoire's. The second photo shows how the bolts are used in most French beds. It has all its original 19 th century wood structure with hooks at its ends for fixing to the wall and a central hook for its suspension wire and chain. It can be used as is to be a day bed or bench. It would also work very well as the headboard for a queen size bed: the opening is just over 60" wide so a queen mattress will fit with the head of the mattress on the bench and the lower part on a frame you would need to add. The seat/floor of the bench is new. As is the back panel. The pillows& pad are not included with this item. i have a Vintage 1890's Victorian French Iron/Brass Bed with Mother of Pearl Motif on both ends. This is an extremly old bed that is well preserved for it's age. I tried to take pictures from all angles. I have not tried to repaint or refinish this piece. I thought someone might want to do it differently. There is only some surface rust and all the pieces except three small brass pieces on the footboard are all their including all four casters. The missing pieces are the little cap that goes on the horizontal cross bar, the little brass section that goes down from the cross bar on the footboard to the mother of pearl emblem and one other little small brass cap. This bed has the following measurements, the headboard is 60 inches tall x 53 inches wide, the footboard is 48 inches high x 53 inches wide, the bed itself measures 54 inches ... morefrom side to side, the mother of pearl emblems on each end measures 60 inches in diameter by 1 inch wide. I believe this bed to be vintage or antique. But because the fabric is in excellent condition it is hard to tell. The wood is painted white and has beautiful carved details on the posts and headboard. I have the headboard, footboard, side rails and wooden boards to go under your mattress. Mattress and linens are not included. The bed is very sturdy and solid. I also have metal brackets and screws the attach to the inner corners for extra support. Please feel free to ask questions. The front of this textile uses a gorgeous. White ground linen and cotton mix fabric, that has been both roller printed and block printed using hand carved wooden blocks. The colors of the front include: white ground, deep sienna brown/purple, turquoise and a lovely very muted terracotta orange tone. This front fabric is a dense weave, lovely medium to heavy weight fabric. This textile is 100% hand stitched and hand quilted with a light cotton batting between the layers. Early 19th Century Antique French TOILE DE JOUY Bed Valence Cream and Red
I am selling a fabulous antique textile from my own collection that I personally purchased in France. This is an early 19th century bed drape or valence. Measures 63 inches long by 19 inches long at the longest part. Scallopped bottom. I am sure it is a bed drape or skirt piece-as the fabric on the reverse side is not faded-as it would be with a window curtain. It is lovely cream and red/rose linen toile de jouy-with frolicking children and country and farm scenes. All hand stitched and hemmed. There are 4-6 places on top edge near hemming-where there are small holes. This must have been tacked or sewn to the bed-and there was some slight tearing. I find one other 1/2 dime sized hole in the body of the piece. There is some thinning of the fabric in a few other places-but nothing to concern about. It is a good sound piece to use as is. Drape ... moreover a sofa-or cut up and use to make pillows. I guarantee the age and that it is a lovely original piece. It mails from the US-so no customs or expensive mailing. $10.00 priority.

This is a beautiful French and burl walnut paint decorated full-size bed that dates from the 1920s. What a great bed. With a tremendous ... morecurved headboard, almost like a wing-back chair, with carved rosettes, flowers and leaves. The inlaid section has leaves and flowers against the burl walnut. The bottom has some wear marks, but those will be hidden when the box spring and mattress are in place. The molded frame is painted a distressed antique mustard, which you can see in the photos. The overall size on the inside is 55 inches wide, and the curved headboard makes it 90 inches long which leave a space on the head board to fill up with additional pillows, but it will take a regular modern-day full-size mattress and box spring. We can also make this into a queen size bed, measuring 60 x 80, for an additional 350.00. Outside dimensions are 57 inches wide, the footboard is 25 inches high, and the headboard is 55 inches high. The bed itself is gorgeous, with all the burl panels and carvings. On the footboard, we had to replace a bit of the molding, and there is a little hand-painted picture of a flute player, sitting on a rock.
