One of the supports that holds one of the drop leaf sides up is broken away from the bottom, and needs to be screwed back in. This is the only real problem with the table. It is a great size, that would fit nicely into a smaller space, as well as being useful in any room, with its drop leaf design. The table stands 27.5” tall, with the bottom platform of the table being about 8.5” high, the table is 27.5” deep, is 17” wide with the leaves down, and about 39” wide with the leaves up.

Exquisite double size(full size) brass bed from around 1900. This measures 59" across. 60-1/2" high at the headboard, 40-1/2" high at the footboard- Fits a standard double-bed mattress. Purchased used in the 1970's, this was professionally polished and has been the prized possession of an owner with a deep appreciation for antique treasures. In place of the original casters(which were missing) the owner has created round wood blocks that neatly fit into the bottom of each brass foot to protect carpet and/or hardwood floors, raising the bed by about 1/2" This package includes headboard, footboard, the original side rails and comes with slats. Constructed of walnut, a lovely soft, mellow timber with light grain. Definitely antique, we would date this very pretty piece to c1880. The bed features sweeping. Flowing curves and consists of a bedhead and foot, and two side rails. It features a beautifully shaped bedhead, plainer than the foot. The foot of the bed has panel work and a large ... morecentral carved motif- beautiful carving, with elegance and style. The shaped side rails also have a central carved motif for decorative effect. So pretty! This lovely bed measures 137 wide to the outside of the rails. The bed is 144cm at it's widest point across the bedhead. It is 187cm in length to the inside rail. And approximately 200cm in overall length. A timber base could be fitted to the rails to hold the mattress which may need to be slightly smaller than a standard double. All original patina and finish simply glows from the wood frame body of this piece from the 1880's-1920's. Gaze at the wonderful headboard and foot board with spool top construction. The faces of the headboard and foot board are faux marble or grain painted. The rails are sleigh ends. This is a 3/4 bed and will require some longer rails made to convert to full size. Colonial Antique Rope Bed- double size- circa 1840 Very good antique condition; finish shows some signs of wear as shown in photos. Pick up only because of the size. Location is NW of Chicago. Illinois. Been in my family for about five generations. With each owner taking care to preserve its historical significance. My ancestors lived in the Columbus, Ohio, area and I believe the bed may have been made in Pennsylvania. This is a great purchase for anyone looking to showcase Colonial America with authenticity in their home. As best as I can figure from family history. This rope bed was constructed, prior to 1840, since it utilizes one of the earlier American methods for roping. The furniture maker bore holes in the rail frames to fasten the rope. This is probably the sturdiest method and caused less strain on the wood as opposed to a later ... moremethod that roped around pegs. Presently I have a double mattress directly on top of the roping which seems quite secure. Should you desire to switch out the rope. Suitable line is readily available at hardware stores, and specific directions are online. It's easy to retain the early American look in your home by using a down comforter as I have done. The bed is in a bedroom I have devoted to family history and has been well cared for and maintained. From my research I feel the uniqueness. Quality and condition set the value around $1,000. This is a bed I purchased for my son many years ago. It is well worn but extremely sturdy and stable. The knobs/pegs for the ropes were not on the bed when we purchased it so we modified it to accept a standard double mattress. A piece of sturdy plywood sits on the wooden supports that have been attached to the bed frame. The plywood is not included in this sale. The mattress rests on the full width of the bed to accept a standard double. Using the side rails as additional support. It could be used"as is" or refinished. The bed size is 72 in long by 54 in wide. The headboard is 34.5 in tall and the footboard is 25 in tall. I'm not sure of the type of wood used in the bed. It is in incredible condition. There is a slight damage where the old wood that is vaneered over the other wood a small patch has come off long before i got it but it doesnt show as its where the bedding and your feet are, it has everything all slats etc, i brought it over from france when i moved here amongst many other beautiful pieces i am doing a non profit film and i am trying to raise some money for it, hence why i am selling it, they only made a certain amount this is numbered 561, i live in astoria new york so if you want to come and see it then call my cell 917 528 1979 and you can see it put together it is so chic incredibly carved french antique, i will take more pictures

Mellow in tone and with its original patina, this bed will fit a standard size double bed mattress. It consists of a bedhead, foot and two side rails. The bed has relatively straight lines, ornate carved central ... morefeature to the bedhead with the carved initials LB or BL. The bedhead has beautifully turned railings near the top, and both the bedhead and foot feature turned side columns and finial decorations. PRETTY! The bed measures 148cm wide across both the bedhead and base. The bedhead is 146cm in height and the foot is 97cm high. The inside measurement across the rails is 133cm and it is 141cm wide to the outside of the rails. Perfect size for a standard double bed mattress. With room for bedding. Country House Antique UNUSED white double bed sheet - ladderwork hemstitch
You are buying an excellent quality UNUSED antique white sheet with drawnthread work hem to the top. Measures 88" wide by 112" long approx so a good size. Not washed and stored for a long time unused so will require an overnight soak and a hot wash to make it come up bright white. Excellent quality so will last for years. Constructed of walnut, a lovely soft, mellow timber with light grain. Definitely antique, we would date this very pretty piece to c1900. The bed features sweeping. Flowing curves and consists of a bedhead and foot, and two side rails. It features a beautifully shaped bedhead and foot. The foot of the bed is quite simple with panel work, and the bedhead has a ... morelarge central carved motif- beautiful carving, with elegance and style. The shaped side rails also have a central carved medallion for decorative effect. It stands on elegantly carved small cabriole legs. So pretty! This lovely bed measures 138cm wide to the outside of the rails. The bed is 148cm at it's widest point across the bedhead and foot. It is 192cm in length to the inside rail. And approximately 200cm in overall length. A timber base could be fitted to the rails to hold the mattress which would be a standard double size. The bed head is 148cm in height and the foot is 91cm in height. This bed is simply beautiful! Though antique. The bed is in beautiful condition. Strong and sturdy and one of the best we've had. Antique French linen sheet, drawn thread-work, double bed size
I really. Really love linen sheets! I found a stash of them at a small shop in the French Pyrenees run by a wonderful old woman who looked like she'd been around forever! We chatted for some time, so I couldn't resist buying a couple. This one appears to be 100% linen, rather coarsely woven. It has a band of drawn thread work across the top. It is in great condition, without holes or stains. It is double bed size, measuring 83 inches wide and 115 inches long, which is over 3 yards of amazing history. Even if you don't want a sheet, who could resist remaking this into some fabulous linen dress, or maybe a blouse or shirt. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!
