It has duncan phyfe solid mahogany legs that terminate in a brass cap foot. This is definitely a period table. The overall size is 22 inches round on the top shelf, 25 inches round on the bottom shelf, 37 inches high to the top shelf and 21 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is a great stand at a reasonable piece. It is a good honest period piece.

The paint has a nice crakling affect as well, which really adds to its vintage patina. I am unsure of its actual age, but it was manufactured by Peck & Hills Furniture Company. It has four drawers, all quite large, and a design that gives it a "chest on chest" appearance. As his father he was a wood engraver who signed his work with an interlaced cVs. They worked under influence of the Haarlem mannerists and Christoffel was even a pupil of Goltzius for some time. Art historians have had some trouble to distinguished the work of father and son but especially between Christoffel and his brothers Cornelis and Karel. The work of Van Sichem is interesting for the combination of the early masters(Durer- Van Leyden) combined with the Goltzius school influence. The chest is in amazing condition, with very ... morelittle sign of wear at all. There is one small area on the top of the right glove box where the finish is a bit worn, but with a little oil, this should clean up nicely. The chest has the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. There is a small sticker remnant on the mirror frame as well. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1900 and 1920. The chest has straight legs that taper slightly towards the bottom, with original casters.

This bed has been in our family for at least 4 generations. We are not sure exactly how old it is. But we know that it was used before the turn of the century. I purchased this fine. Full size antique brass bed years ago on a road trip in California. It had the original rails when I purchased it. And the truth is, they were taken by a relative. But that's another story. Relatives. In-laws and outlaws! Anyway, this bed is offered without the rails. With that exception, this desirable bed. With rare bowed foot board. Is complete and in very good condition. There is one smaller bit of damage shown in photo eleven. Also. There is a 2-3 ft. portion of the seam behind the headboard left-hand post has separated a bit. It doesn't show up in the photograph. With these two exceptions. This beautiful work of Victorian art is. In my opinion, one of the nicest beds that might be found today. Local pick-up only. Please. What a GREAT original antique double brass bed which reflects the Arts and Crafts movement in design. Very. Very, Unusual! As you can see the bed rail casting has a patented. date of May 22, 1900. This date would certainly indicate a manufacturing date soon after the turn of the century, during the period of the Arts and Crafts movement and before a more modern bed rail systems were patented. This bed is manufactured of square and rectangular brass tubing with cast brass fittings, brass end caps and a decorative cast brass center piece. It is all brass, hollow of course, but just brass. The normal round tubing brass bed(about 98 percent are manufactured like this) is manufactured of a very thin brass wrap almost like a thick aluminum foil wrapped around a steel core and seamed. The headboard is 57 inches to the top and the footboard is 37 ... moreinches. The bed measures 55 inches wide from the outside of the square posts. The antique original rails are designed to use slats with a standard double or full(the same size) and can use a modern box spring and matress. If you desire to use a modern queen boxspring and matress the rails could be lenthened(about 5 inches) and the boxspring and matress would only stick out about two inches beyond the brass post on each side. You do not have to modify the brass in the head and footboard to have a pleasing look with only a little overhang. I have seen many double beds converted to queen in this fashion. My guess is that this bed was polished and lacquered about 30 years ago when that look was popular The lacquer has darkened from age and there are wear and spotting and scratches from time. The footboard top caps have most of the protective coating worn away from constant touching and the footboard top horizontal shows the most warn lacquer. It gives the look of a nice old warn finish which I prefer. A polishing shop could polish it to look like new if some one desires that look. Salesman Sample Brass Bed frame/baby doll/vintage antique/Store example/1800's
Original Vintage Antique small bed frame. The frame appears to be made of brass. I believe that it is a salesman example sample. It appears to be from the turn of the last century circa 1870-1920. But I am not a bed expert. All screws look original and are the same with no replacements. The yarn strung around the frame was obviously added much later, I will leave it as is for the next owner to decide what to do. There are cobwebs in places and marks that I have left as well. I have not attempted to clean the frame, and all patina is the way it was when I received the item. I have done nothing to the frame except photograph it. It looks very old. Antique Brass Copper Walnut Pennsylvania Bed Warmer 18th Century Bird Distelfink
This lovely late 1700s-early 1800s bed warmer was collected in Pennsylvania back in the 70s and measures 49” with turned walnut wood handle(36” long x 1 ¾” diameter) 11 ½” diameter x 4 ½” tall covered pan. The coal pan is copper with stepped brass lid having a stylized bird decoration engraved in its center. The lid has been polished LOTS over the centuries and the design is faint. It has copper rivet construction and the crisply turned handle has nice rings with acorn finial. You will note minor polish-through on the edge of the step of the lid(top) and some small chips in the turnings of the handle. The interior is black from use. Fantastic Antique BRASS BED, full bed, very old with amazing patina MUST SEE
Amazing very old brass or copper bed. At least 100 years old I'd imagine. It came from a very old estate. COMES WITH ORIGINAL RAILS FOR FRAME. This is an amazing piece here, and the patina is phenomenal. It looks like copper with the patina but I was told it is solid brass. PREFER LOCAL PICK UP BUT GIVEN HOW UNIQUE THIS BED IS, IF YOU HAVE A SHIPPER, I WILL WORK WITH THEM TO GET IT TO YOU. This is a steal at the asking price, but I will entertain reasonable offers!

Antique Copper-Brass Bed Warmer. Circa 18th - 19th century
Here is another one of my Wives Collectibles. This is a Rare Copper and Brass Bed Warmer Copper Pan is 3" Deep with a Brass Lid that has In laid Copper bullets. The copper bullets are 1 1/2" diameter. The Pan is 8" diameter and the Lid is 9" diameter. It has a turned handle and is overall 30" long. I remember purchasing this some 40 years ago in Philadelphia. I thought then it was quite precious. Have never seen another quite like in all our years collecting. Antique Cast Iron 3/4 full Bed with Brass decorations
1890's Heavy Cast Iron 3/4 size Bed with detailed iron rosettes and Brass trim. In Very Good Condition with some minor scuffing/dents to the Brass Decorations. Not noticeable until closer inspection. The bed opening is 46" wide x 77" long. The Headboard is 33" tall and the Footboard measures 26" tall. The bed rails are 16" off of the floor. PICKUP ONLY. IN NORTHERN INDIANA!
