It features some very stunning natural swirls all around the Dark Rosewood cabinetry. This clock is a 2 glass affair with the round dial door glass. And bottom black w/ gold imagery. Ansonia Wall Regulator wood trim pieces. 12" diameter each section is approx 4-1/2" 5"outside) x(inside length 3" long x 2-1/8" wide. Missing one piece. Leaving nails in.will receive as in photos. The four holes at the top was for the movement.the lower two was for the gong. The paper label was glued there with the gong screwed in over. T his part came from a clock that came from Connecticut. The clock was missing a wood piece. So would have not been repaired. The movement was dated to 1882. I will be selling other parts of the clock separately. Clock is missing one ball finial on the side, otherwise complete. The face has some wear around the key holes from winding. Case is nice original finish, has some scratches and light wear. Ansonia Antique Paris. France 1878 Expo 8 day clock original pendulum and unbroken glass This clock is in beautiful antique condition. by that i mean it shows signs of wear but it is over 135 years old. It has a key. It winds up but pendulum does not stay moving. I do not know a thing about clocks but this attracted me today at an estate sale. I was told it is a sessions clock.
