The is some(age-appropriate) wear to the clock face. The pendulum is affixed inside, and appears to work properly, but I do not have a key. The clock case is signed"S. Gonthiez. Vintage/Antique Sessions Marble Art Deco Electric Mantle/Table Clock- Works! Up for bids is a Vintage/Antique Sessions Marble Art Deco Electric Mantle/Table Clock. This Clock is made by Sessions and is marked Model"W" In back. The clock is Gorgeous! It features a 10"x 3" x 1" thick marble base and a 7" diameter(3/4" thick) marble disc around the clock works. There are 2 round ball marble pieces on both sides of the clock. The balls are about 1.5" in diameter. The white marble has some reddish brown streaks. The base has a felt backing to protect the surface of the mantle. The clock face is metal gray with gold tone numbers. Black hands, and a red sweep second hand. The clock housing case is also gold tone. This clock is very heavy and has an electric cord in the back. The condition of the clock is near ... moreperfect! There is one very small chip in the back of the clock at about 1:30. French spelter lady clock. The lady has original dinanderie detailing to her dress. The clock is made of black marble and onyx and it measures 18"5 inches long by 4"4 inches deep by 10. inches high. In very good vintage used condition with just a little minor age wear to the ladies skin patina. We have had the clock working so the movement is good.

Fantastic 3 Piece French Art Deco Clock & Garniture Set - Marble Case, 1930's
A fantastic three piece mixed marble cased clock and garniture set with spelter figural adornments. The clock case measures 17.25" long and is 13.75" high to the top of the lady's head. The spelter figures have no cracks. Breaks or repairs. There is something missing from the lady's right hand- there is a small tube that held something- perhaps a bouquet. There is a chip to the tip of the white triangular piece of marble near the base. The brass works are unmarked except for the numbers 16500 and 38. The clock winds and runs. The chime works. There is no pendulum so I don't know if it keeps time. Two footed garnitures are in excellent condition. The dial has a light circular scratch shown in the photos and is marked"Delorme Chateauroux" A beautiful decorative set with great eye appeal. A very fine antique. Circa 1920's- 1930's, French Art Deco mantel clock. The case is made up from French rouge and Belgian black and white marbles. Two bronze puffed up doves are top ornaments. The diamond shaped white enamel metal dial has a white metal frame and glass. It is in working order to tell the time, no key included- will accept an American key. The clock total measures 11-1/4" tall by 11-3/4" wide by 3-3/4" deep. Excellent condition: marbles without chips or cracks, bronze doves in fine patina. Two reverse chips to the beveled glass.

Base is about 16 1/4" X 2 1/2" Clock is 9" tall. 8" in diameter, clock face is about 6" birds are about 5" tall; weighs a hefty 10 pounds 14 ounces. Garniture pieces are about 4 3/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" deep; weigh about 4 pounds 12 ounces combined. This set is vintage and shows some signs of age. The clock does wind ok. Mechanism seems to run and keep time. Hands look good and move easily, key works, door swings fine and looks great, is a little saggy when opened. The exception is what appears to be a minor(1/4" area in the back where the marble is not smooth. This appears to be an inclusion in the marble, and not damage. The is some(age-appropriate) wear to the clock face. The pendulum is affixed inside, and appears to work properly, but I do not have a key. The clock case is signed"S. Gonthiez. A very nice antique. Circa 1930's, Art Deco mantel clock. The shield shape case is of polished mottled pink marble on a polished black slate base. Attached on one end is a white metal seagull. The clock has a bubble glass door, the dial of black and gilt enamel metal. It is in working order to tell the time(not quiet running. The total clock measures 15-1/2" wide by 9-1/2" tall by 2-3/4" deep. Excellent condition: marble and slate without chips or cracks, bubble glass and dial fine. The nickel finish to the seagull has spotted, and the clockwork case has speckling rust. The clock winds nicely with an American key, no key included.

There are a few small chips in the marble as you can see in the photos. Please look over the photos carefully. This clock is not working and needs a good cleaning. The brass ring around the face is quite tarnished, as is the brass cover on the back. I bought these at an estate sale about 20 years ago and never had the money to have it restored. My guess is it belonged to a smoker and that a lot of the discoloration on the brass is from years of smoke. I don't have the key. Onyx and Belgian black slate. The elephant sculpture and parts of the candleholders are made out of cold painted spelter. The clockcase is adorned with ornamentic brass elements. The candleholders were once electrified. The dial glass cover is slightly arched and still original. Measurements: The max. length of the mantel clock and candleholders are approx. 35.4" 90 cm) The clockcase measures 14.2" x 19.7" 36 cm x 50 cm) The dial face has a diameter of 22 cm. Antique 1920s Marble Bronze ART DECO Gallery Clock Standard Electric Macy's NY
Measuring approximately 17 inches in diameter made of 1 inch thick marble is this rare Art Deco Standard Electric Time Company marble and bronze wall clock made for Macy's Department Store in the late 1920s. This information provided by the reliable previous owner. The dial is solid marble with solid raised bronze numerals and minute demarcations. I spoke to the Farfalla Clock Company whose stamp you see and they confirmed this is probably from the late 1920's and they had worked on it. Probably in the 80's. It is very heavy. There is a modern battery operated unit that replaced the original works that operated the clock. This is from Japan as seen. This works with an AA Battery but the sweep second hand stalls on the other hands-I am sure there is an adjustment to be made. There are 3 drilled holes on the back probably from the ... moreoriginal works. The brackets are heavy duty as seen and the marble is at least an inch thick and in perfect condition. The bezel appears to be thin copper and has a minor crimp as seen and ever so slightly out of round. There is minor paint loss in the lettering as seen of the Standard Electric Time Co stamp-mostly in the word"time" I believe the hands to be original except for the sweep second hand. The dog is really gorgeous, a very noble face and the metal has a nice greenish reddish patina. At the back of the clock is a pierced brass grill door which opens to reveal the movement inside.
