Elegant 5 Drawer French Provincial Dresser with Floral Inlay
This lovely 5-drawer. French Provincial dresser, was purchased from an antiques dealer in Westport, CT, about 15 years ago. I have no information about its manufacturer or date of manufacture. It is in good condition, for its apparent age. In particular, its unique and beautiful floral inlay is in very good condition, as shown in the photos that accompany this ad. It has a few, small imperfections. The worst of them are shown in the photos. They include chips in the veneer in the top left corner of the second drawer and in the lower left corner of the bottom drawer, and a small missing section of the beading in the lower portion of the second lowest drawer. Heywood Wakefield vanity dresser with pouffe swivel stool
Mid century vanity marked M536. 1951 on the back of the large mirror and pooffe swivel stool. 54" wide and 65" tall with mirror. Solid wood birch that was refinished with walnut stain in the mid 70s. Still very good finish, no scratches on front or top. On the right side, lower back corner, you can see where the wood split and was reglued. This was originally my mother's and I never noticed the split because of its position until I started polishing it up. Inside of drawers is original wheat color, excellent condition. Jewelry or makeup tray in top drawer. Top quality brand, very cool! The mirror has one tiny black mark at the bottom from the glazing wear and overall the mirror has a very slight haziness from age as well. The pouffe is really neat, and just needs new upholstery.
