Here we have a 3 drawer chest that lived with the same family since new in circa 1965-1967. Original finish from the factory. The previous owner collected a few pieces from this line and we are offering them now. Good condition with very well preserved original finish and very strong and sturdy with no structural issues. Very well cared for or stored well. There are a few scratches and nicks from expected wear but probably from moving from here to there. We did see moving stickers here and there from the bedroom set this was from. Pride and joy of some family back then. Made by the Drexel Furniture Company. There's an accidental candle burn mark that left a deep crater. There's also a few nicks/scratches on the top surface, but hardly anywhere else. Great Opportunity It is very hard to find credenzas and TV stand that fit in antique environments. This is the perfect piece. A low dresser in height that is hard to find and perfect for your big screen. Of course it would be a great dresser as well. It is so unique and different then most pieces. The doors and drawers work well are sturdy and slide nicely. The bottom drawer's bottom sags down some and rubs when opening it. This slows the drawer down some. But it still opens pretty easily. Left door is a little tight also, not bad. The entire piece is in great shape without really anything to point out to you. I know you will be happy with it. Presenting one of the most exquisite pieces of vintage small furniture I've seen in a while: an oval cream white painted wood marble top vanity or boudoir side table with reticulated or pierced brass filigree rim in the Hollywood Regency style. Stamped on the bottom"Danby" This little table measures about 18 inches high to the top of the brass rim, 15 1/4 inches wide across the rim and 12 1/2 inches front to back across the rim. It has sleek, classic Federal style legs and a gray veined white marble top, with the brass rim surrounding the marble and rising about 3/4 of an inch from the top, creating a tray-like surface perfect for vanity items like combs, hand mirrors and brushes, perfume bottles, powder jars, compacts, make-up, etc. It makes a perfect little table at the side of a bed, fainting couch, vanity or vanity ... morebench. The brass rim is slightly out of shape in a couple of places. But not obvious, and there are some scattered small white dings to the marble surface. The table is very sturdy and has a substantial weight of 10 3/4 pounds by itself(not including packing material) Overall this table is in good to very good condition with a great Hollywood Regency style. Solid Cherry Statton Dresser Bureau Brass Pulls - Superior to Pennsylvania House
This beautiful Statton"Truetype Americana" Oxford-finish dresser is approximately 65" wide. 20 1/8" deep, and 36" tall. Solid cherry with solid brass hardware, it has a warm and lively finish that showcases the beautiful swirls and irregularities for which fruitwoods are loved. A very high-end manufacturer, Statton made furniture far superior to Pennsylvania House pieces that my mother also purchased in 1966. This dresser is structurally perfect and in very good condition. Despite the dust or polish that you see in some of my pictures. Picture 1 depicts the front after a less-than-perfect Murphy's Oil Soap clean-up, which resulted in some Murphy's smears that I didn't see until I had transferred the picture file to my computer(when it was too late to wipe the surface and re-photograph) Pictures 3 through ... more7 show all sections of the top surface of the dresser from left to right. There is a partial water ring near the edge of the top(picture 5) that was created by a sloppy workman. But it should be possible to remove this fairly easily. It is relatively faint, and it is actually less conspicuous than it may appear to be in the close-up shown in picture 8. There are also a few nicks here and there, as you would expect given that this furniture is almost 50 years old, but there are none that I would describe as significant. The last three pictures above show a close-up of a drawer pull and both sides of the piece. All three were taken before the dresser was cleaned. You can pick up this piece in Edgemont. Vintage bureau/dresser. At least 30 years old. Made from solid Ponderosa Pine and with a dark stain. Inner drawers have the old newspaper style. Slight wear and tear but kept in excellent condition overall. Some scuffs. The pictures do a good representation. Everything is minor. bottom right drawer is fine. It was apparently not put on the track correctly when this item was moved from one room to another) Measures 66" wide. 33" tall, and a depth of 19" The drawers can be removed to make it a little lighter in transit.
