This solid piece has some very cool and different designs which make it stand out. The quality is there with the dove tail wood draws and sturdy construction. The fronts to the draws are made of some resin or composite coating. The inside of the cabinets and draw fronts in the center cupboards also have a Formica type of material, you can see this in the photos. The top and all the fascias of this piece are also made from some sort of laminate made to look like wood. This piece Features a center opening door and three center draws. To the left and right is a bank of 3 drawers either side with metal pulls and brass colored fronts. We also have a Matching Nightstand/End table. This listing is for just the Dresser not the Nightstand. Condition: Nice Vintage Condition. some wear/marks and scratches to some areas but very minimal. There are some small chips to the bottom of the piece which have been repaired and stained back in. The fronts to the draws are in good shape with the exception of a few small marks, pulls have some slight marks also. Mid Century Danish Modern Chest Diamond Pattern American of Martinsville Retro
Excellent mid century Danish Modern chest by American of Martinsville. The walnut wood chest has two bi-fold doors that reveal three drawers when opened. One drawer has dividers for clothing separation. The top part of the chest has a set back/ floating design that was influenced by designers such as Paul McCobb and George Nelson among others. The bi-fold doors have a match-booked geometric design. Below the floating top section are two flush fit drawers. The bachelors style chest rest on four tapered wood legs. One drawer has the American of Martinsville mark. The rear of the chest is marked. 924 Chest, Lot number 722. The chest measures about 38 3/4" wide x 19 1/2" deep x 53" tall. vintage mid century american of martinsville beautful wood grain bedroom set
im selling some very beautiful furniture made by american of martinsville. these are made very well with solid woods and are sturdy. these come out of my grandparents home so they were adult owned for many years. they are smoke free pet free home. please look at the photos as they are a one of a kind with some awesome design on the wood grain. I hate to see them go but i just dont have the room for them. these will look good in any room of the house.
