These pieces have been in a bed-bug, smoke free home since then. Both pieces show a little wear, which can be minimized with polishing. Maple 4-drawer dresser with mirror, excellent condition, Ethan Allen I believe
I was given this chest of drawers in high school in 1956. It is solid wood and extremely sturdy. It is maple but in the 70s I stained the chest a darker color. The original color can be seen on the mirror and inside of the drawer. You could remove the stain if desired. There are no stains or defects. I remember it was a name brand like Ethan Allen. But I cannot find it on the chest. A gift of this chest of drawers would last another lifetime!
