Antique Rare Vintage 20's 30's Imhof Swiss Enamel Clock Persian Asian Hunt Scene
This rare antique Imhof clock is in excellent condition and working order. The light spots in the photos are just from the camera flash and reflection. The clock does not have the clear glass face cover. This is easily replaceable. It also does not have the end knob to set the clock time. This is also easily replaceable. Currently. I can set the time with needlenose pliers. I believe this clock is vintage 30's or 40's and is definitely early 20th century. The clock was made by the famous Swiss company Imhof and is an 8 day- 15 jewel clock. Overall the solid brass(or bronze) clock case measures almost 7" across by 5" in height. The face has a beautiful hand painted, colorful and enameled persian or asian hunt scene. This beautiful clock has a clean, shiny and ornate case with raised shiny gold numbers. Up for your bidding consideration is this very nice and RARE German made Otto Ranz pendulum wall clock. I could find no information on this clock/watchmaker on the internet(Google. Bing, eBay, etc. so I am assuming it to be rare. It is in overall excellent and seemingly original condition,and appears to be complete, but does not run. The case is in very good condition and the finish seems to be original. There does not appear to be any previous repairs done to the wooden case and all glass appears to be original. It does come with a key and the original pendulum. The maker's name plate id affixed to the bottom of the clock's back panel, which can be easily seen in the provided pictures. For Sale is this Antique Original Ansonia Miniature Fisher Statue from the 1890s. This is an ORIGINAL NOT A REPRODUCTION. All you need to make this complete is a Ball Swing Clock or Tin Can Swing Clock. It is very rare to see the Ansonia Miniatures but even more rare to see the Fisher(woman) than the Fisher(man) The patina on this statue is wonderfully preserved. The right upper arm looks like a child took a marker to it as shown in the photo. The right foot has a surface crack as shown in photo but it is very sturdy and not in danger of anything worse than it looks. The approx height of the statue to the top of the bar is 18" tall. This statue is for the collector because eventually you will find or have an extra ball swing. But it is not so often you will come across this miniature fisher statue. Rare Bronze Mounted Imari Porcelain Clock Set ~ Samuel Marti. ~ Japanese/ French- Circa 1890 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A very large. Rare and impressive original antique clock set. The bodies are stunning Japanese Imari porcelain mounted with finely gilded bronze. Candelabra are formed from a matching pair of Japanese Imari porcelain jars of inverted pear form covered with a high domed lid. The clock is housed in a matching, but larger jar. The body is beautifully decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze rust-red enamel and gilt highlights. The vases sit on heavy gilded bronze bases with scrolled feet. The clock is surmounted by a winged mythical creatures and has a pair of lions mask handles. Candelabra are surmounted by four elegantly scrolled branches. The gilding is in lovely fresh and bright condition which ... morecontrasts beautifully with the Imari porcelain. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands. It is mounted in a heavy gilt bronze surround and is covered with convex glass. The French movement is by Samuel Marti and has the makers mark on the movement backplate. It is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is an old replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Click the video clip below to hear the bell and watch the clock running! Condition of the case is excellent. The original gilding is beautifully clean and bright with hardly any wear or discolouration and there are no losses. The Imari porcelain is also in excellent condition with the usual slight wear to the overglaze gilt decoration. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the hole made for the back door that isn't quite covered by rim of the door, this isn't noticeable. The dial is also in excellent condition just with no damage. From the late 1880's France. Maker JEAN POINTU, Barbotine pottery set including: 2 9 1/4" Vases, and the 14" Clock. An elegant antique with a design-friendly color palette. Impressionist background in black with light gray strokes. Embellished with large cabbage roses and buds, poppies, and other flowers, stems, and leaves. This set was acquired by my Grandparents from the original owner in Salem OR in 1965. I have had them for about 20 years. all 3 non-smoking homes. We are downsizing and feel this belongs with an owner who has a passionate interest in antique pottery and/or loves the way it looks. And will appreciate and care for it The overall condition is Good as you will note in the specifics of Condition section above. It's remarkable to have all 3 pieces without major damage to them. And French clock face that is ... morea work of art on its own which I believe to be abalone, inlaid and or painted with the blue-headed bird, flowers, etc. Clock works are registered French(marked Depose CB) but do not know where the makers name is, however my grandfather, a certified clock man, wrote this up in his notebook"8-Day, Hour and 1/2 Hour strike, Marti of Paris" seems to be the original clock, not a replacement which is common in pieces of this age. The chime is a hearty"ting" and sounds very lovely! I am in touch with professionals for repairing some of the petal edges and the clock hand; the current condition photos and clock are priced as-is. As noted in condition, the flowers have some issues, and there is an even crazing overall. It's rare to find 120 + year old earthenware that is in like-new condition due to the nature of materials and length of time in use in a regular home; this set would be double the asking price at auction, or more, if it were; You know this is special the minute you see it; the design and color choice are so much a part of that. Antique Original Coca Cola Coca-cola Coke Oak Regulator Wind Up Clock Very Rare
You are bidding on a very rare piece of coca-cola history. These clocks were given to country stores in the late 1800's to early 1900's to advertise coke. I new they were rare because I have only seen about a half dozen in the last nearly 40 years and I tried to buy everyone I saw but after researching them a little on ebay I have came to the conclusion that they must be extremely rare because they have over 56.000+ items listed and none of these clocks. This particular clock I bought right out of a local home from the grandson of the original owner. It was running on the wall when we took it down. Usually these clocks are Ingraham's or Gilberts but the only way to actually tell is to take the face off and look at the works and they will probably be signed but I don't want to do this unless someone really wants to know. The ... moreclock is solid oak with it's original dark finish. The glass is all original,The paint is all original, some of the black paint on the top glass is missing, see photo but can easily be repainted if new owner desires. The gold on the bottom glass that says regulator is in great condition, bright, near perfect. The face is all original with the drink coca cola still visible but there are stains to the face which most clock people like me would much rather have the original face stained than a new one but it could be replaced but in my opinion would run the value of the clock. Most all American made wall regulators of this age have the back inside painted black which this one being no exception, see photos. This coke clock still has the original brass pendilum and key. DIMENSIONS: 34 inches in total height, total depth is 6 inches and 19 inches total width at the top of the clock on the moulding. Depth of the main part of the case 4 1/2 inches, width of the main part of the case 15 3/4 inches. The clock has a 48R movement probably made in Germany at the Turn of the Century. The case is absolutey beautiful with wonderful inlay and genuine purfling. I believe the included key and pendulum are original. As far as I can tell the clock is completely original and in extremely fine working condition. The glass face is the most special piece of heavy beveled glass or crystal. The clock stands approximately 10 2/3" tall. The coil gong has the most warm sound. Beautiful Rare Antique French Porcelain Longwy Clock Model 1092 / 1980
Beautiful Rare Porcelain Antique French Longwy Clock Model 1092/ 1980 as marked. What a great little gem of a clock this is. Standing 11.5" tall and 4.5" wide, the clock is hand painted with 2 Cheribum and musical instruments on the sides and tops. The predominant color is a light shade of pink. Mechanically the movement will run but the pendulum only swings for a few minutes, it may need to be adjusted, I am not a clock expert and cannot vouch for the mechanical condition of this clock, it does appear complete with a movement marked France 174, the bell is present and the pendulum, the hands can be removed by simply pulling them off, I believe it is missing something that keeps the hands secured. Vintage Boy Scout clock. This clock has a unique design with the sun dial on the top. The top actually turns as the the clock ticks away. It has the Boy Scout emblem on the side. See pictures. There is a indicator needle that you use to tell the time. To adjust the time you spin the top to the correct position. There is an adjustment on the bottom to adjust the pace of the time along with a knob to wind the clock. If the clock stops you restart it by shaking it hard and fast a couple times which is typical of this type of clock. Of course you will need to wind it first. You are bidding on this FULL FUNCTIONING. STUNNING ANTIQUE Desk/ Alarm Clock from the FRENCH manufacturer JAPY FRERES with an extraordinary shape! It's is in an excellent condition regarding its age and it comes in SOLID METAL having beautifully decorated bronze features. You will definately NOT find a second one easily. The most special thing about this clock is that it runs like a CHRONOGRAPH; perfect and"on the second" On top there is a bell which tells you it is time to wake up. The sound of it is clear. This piece has not been cleaned or polished. The inner brass edge around the dial is shining like new. There is(real) glass in front. The bronze base is richly decorated; the same goes for the bronze carriage handle on top of this clock. On the dail you will find the time in Roman numbers for the AM part and in Arabic numbers ... morefor the PM part. The dial also is diveded in 60 partitions; for each minute one partition. It comes with a paper dial which is in a extreme good condition. The hands are made of black metal. There is an extra metal alarm hand. To tell you when the alarm is set. French antique garniture set Lovely 3 piece set of a vase clock with matching candelabras. The porcelain is quite thin and has a matt bisque finish. There are flowers hand painted on it. The white color is enameled paint. The main color is a lovely deep sea blue/green. The flowers on it make it even nicer. I have never seen a set like this. Made around 1880-1900. The ornaments are partly made of brass and partly made of bronze. All the ornaments are original and in good. Antique condition, with only minor wear. The porcelain is also in very good condition, with no cracks. The clock dial is made of enamel. It does have some minor damage to it, look at the photo for the details. CT as stamped on the works, along with N Pomeroy. circa 1847-1878. The movement is assembled on a piece of wood which may be pine. The screws holding the pine onto the case are all loose as the wood has dried and the holes are stripped. I believe the dial and both bezels are the original and possibly the hour hand. However, the minute hand has severed when removing the case. I do have the minute hand which broke off and it may not be original) I am not sure of what type of wind up clock this is. Nor if it is considered spring driven. When I disassembled to photograph, after standing back up, the pendulum swung and chimed for about a week. I am not sure of what type of service is required, probably just a cleaning and oiling and I am also in possession of the original key. See photo) The chime makes a great gong sound. I have not attempted to wind up again so it is currently not running. I am also uncertain if this is considered an alarm. The pendulum is very heavy and is adorned with rhinestones or paste stones. I found that Henry Zahm Rhoads was a watchmaker who apprenticed under Theodor Wolf. After serving in the Civil War he opened a store in Lancaster with his brother Charles and was in business till 1882. If you search hard enough you will find a couple of watches by Henry Rhoads, but you will not find another clock of any type. This tall unique brass clock measures 21” tall to the top of the 5” diameter brass and opaque milk glass face. The statue depicts an American Indian Maiden with feathers in her hair and holding a spear. This two color bronzed spelter metal staue is in perfect condition and retains its original surface with green verdigris accents. In the back is a small 2 1/8” brass clock has a tiny pendulum. It is still in working condition, but I’m sure it could use a proper cleaning since it has been hidden away for many years. When the candle is lit it lights up the back of the milk glass face making the hands and numbers stand out, allowing you to tell the time in the dark. Simple, but effective. Through shipping they can be shaken and need slight adjustments to run properly. Very rare clock. I've never seen a Seth Thomas clock in this style! Rare Chelsea clock. In good working condition. Features a Chinese scene with vibrant red.Black and gold colors. Wind up, with the capability to speed it up or slow it down. The easel stand is no longer attached, but it is included so that it could be re attached. Measures 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" Has beveled glass. There are a couple of minor scratches on the glass and also a small chip on the underside of the glass in the upper corner. All of these flaws are visible in the pictures. This is a very heavy piece! This is a Rare American Antique collector’s POCKET WATCH. This watch opens up completely. It is really fantastic to see the workmanship that has gone in this watch. This watch is numbered 531. It is in perfect working order. The only tiny flaw I could find are some small chips in the enamelware face of the watch by the 8 and the 12 hour. As far as I can tell is the case 18k gold. But it has no marks. The only marking I could find are a number 456. And the letters EU. There are also some numbers who I can hardly read. I think it is 1273G& 40G7. This particular watch was made in New York. During the earliest period of the company, sometime between 1809 and 1825. The original gold hands ... moreare also of a unique style. The crystal is a thick bull’s-eye style and is very clear. The watch measures nearly 2” or 4.5 cm inches in diameter. This clockwork is in outstanding condition. This suburb watch was made by the firm of Seth Thomas& Benjamin Demilt. New York The Demilt family of New York City goes back to the 18th century. And the family made in clocks and watches for almost a half century(1796-1845) Dr. Theodore Crom(1920-2008) was a retired structural engineer who resided in Florida and uncovered a good deal of information about the Demilts while writing horological and other shop tools. 1700-1900. The Demilts were clockmakers and major importers of clocks. Watches, and jewelry from England, France, and Switzerland. After 1818, they also produced fine chronometers. The Demilts served a clientele at the high end of the business. In fact. They may well have been the foremost horologists in New York City between 1800 and 1845. Antique French Five Piece Clock Set ~ Lions. ~ French- Circa 1890 ~. ~~ Excellent condition. Fully overhauled ~~. A stunning and rare five piece clock set. Beautifully modelled in gilt brass in the classical style. The clock features lions mask handles to the sides and fretted front and sides allowing the pendulum to be glimpsed swinging within the case. To the top is a large, elaborate urn. Candelabra are similarly styled with pieced urns with lions masks and fretted drip trays and nozzles. The three light candelabrum have scrolling branches of acanthus. The dial is also gilt brass with 12 individual enamel cartouches and blued steel hands. The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement.
