Mid century stool or Chair in original condition, I believe the wood is beech but am not 100% sure. Measures approximately 21 inches(53 cm) tall and 14 inches(35.5 cm) square. The vinyl seat top is removable for cleaning or indeed recovering. Has a check pattern as pictured, I am insure of the exact material this is covered in but I don't believe it's vinyl but is tough and hard waring. Has not been painted or varnished/ recovered etc although would be a perfect project for someone to up cycle. joe calcite MID CENTURY ADJUSTABLE ROLLING IRON& STEEL STOOL This offering is for a vintage mid century industrial rolling stool. The four legged base is cast iron with a caster under each foot. The outer support tube and the seat are steel. The stool was originally designed to work with a compressed air system to adjust. But the seals were shot and a rebuild was cost prohibitive. So, a series of 4 holes were drilled in the inner tube, with a single hole in the outer tube, which accommodate a set pin when lined up. This provides a simple adjustment method and allows for 4 settings from 21" to 28" The higher settings get a little unstable with the casters on. Additional holes can be added if desired. The original hammered green finish was in bad shape. So the surface was taken down to bare metal where visible. Vintage Retro Mid Century Danish Modern Square Footstool Ottoman
This fantastic footstool is in amazing vintage condition. The vinyl is original with no rips. Tears or burns. It has the original tag showing that it was manufactured by the Babcock Phillips Co. of Richmond Va. The footstool measures 18" square and is about 15" in height. The legs are in great condition, with wear commensurate with age. There are some dings, and the metal part of the feet has some discoloration, but really very good for the age. I then decided to recover it with a handmade prayer quilt I had bought at a auction I saved and reused the center button. There are four screw on legs, they are scratched some but not to bad for its age. Offered is this wooden milking stool with four square legs. The top of the stool measures 14" x 10" and is 1 1/2" thick. The stool is approx. 9 1/2" high.
