For auction is one vintage Krueger metal shop/drafting stool. It is painted a medium gray color and is upholstered in a bright red vinyl. The entire chair has been completely cleaned and detailed. And the metal base has a nice, shop-worn patina around the footrest. The seat height adjusts from 20" to 26" and is 16" wide by 14" deep. The backrest adjusts out and up. Up for bidding is this cool vintage Toledo adjustable drafting stool in wonderful condition for its age. This stool was probably made in the 1950s. Wood seat and back in great shape with no cracks. Delamination, or damage and finish looks to be original. Winning bidder can decide to remove old paint and light stains and refinish or leave as is. The original paint shows some desired wear and loss. The 4 ball socket feet are intact and show a little rust. Seat height adjusting mechanism is complete and does work. Vintage Industrial Stool Although this type of stool is adjustable. Some have a double washer locking mechanism inside stand, this one is either down or locks in top position. The height is either 17- 1/2" or 26" Stool seat is 12- 3/4" diameter. The foot print is 22-3/4" square. To get it to go back to bottom position. I must turn stool upside down and grasp base and jiggle, then it slides down. I have not disassembled chair to inspect mechanism inside tube. Some of these stools have a rivet and washer at bottom of tube. This one has a nut. The stool sets level with no rocking. Three of the glides are frozen tight. One spins freely but does not adjust up and down, I have only used my hands, I have not attempted using channel locks or pliers. See pictures for detail.

A great vintage. Mid-century modern, industrial stool on wheels. by Garrett Chrome and Vinyl Estate Find I believe that this is from the 1970's or 1980's. This stool is in great. Great condition. The seat is excellent with no issues. The chrome has very little surface oxidation here and there. Could be rubbed out or left as is. I prefer the little bit of oxidation. It gives the stool character. Picture#4 shows the most accurate color of the stool. An off white. It currently stands 28" tall but it is adjustable. It lowest height is 22" Instructions to raise and lower are on the bottom and they work. No tools needed. Base measures 22" in diameter at its widest. Top seat measures 16" diameter. It is a heavy. Vintge eames era industrial drafting metal chair stool
For sale is a heavy metal vintage eames era industrial drafting chair/ stool. The chair as pictured measures about 32 inches high to top of back rest and about 13 inches wide(width of seat) However on a chair like this there are three ways you can adjust the dimensions of the chair. First the back of chair can be moved up and down by adjusting the screw on the back and sliding it up or down. Then tightening the screw again. The heighth of the stool section is about 18 inches high as pictured. The height of the legs can be adjusted also to get an additional 4 inches of heighth by unscrewing the screw and replacing it in the slot you want it to be. The back rest can also be adjusted in and out by unscrewing wing nut on bottom and sliding it in or out to level of comfort and then tightening wing nut. The chair has a round metal foot rest on ... morethe legs. The seat is a composite type of material over the metal part of seat. The color of the stool/ chair is a very dark brown. Apparently manufactured in the 1st quarter of 1960, as it is marked"1Q60" on top of the base and on the underneath of the seat, The padded vinyl? covering on the seat and tiltable backrest are in excellent condition with no rips or tears, save a 1/8" long puncture to the seat's right front corner area and a 1/4" surface shave that appears did not go through on the other front corner. The casters(wheels) swivel and has some rust that should clean up/off fairly well. The height of the chair seat is adjustable from about 27" up to about 32" The foot rest/ring on the base has an outside diameter of about 18 3/8" and is 12 1/4" up from the floor. V ery well built. Vintage InterRoyal rolling. Swivel, adjustable height office, drafting stool with removable backrest. It's in really good condition. I found a scuff on the front of the seat(see last pic) though no tears or holes or damage in the green vinyl. The metal parts are a little dusty, though still in great shape.
