This vintage piece came out of a home in Denmark and clearly was a take on the Hans Wegner Papa Bear ottoman/ stool. It is a cool design with its minimalist lines and would make an nice compliment to any Danish modern chair/ décor. The piece is constructed out of solid teak(handles and legs) with black leather like vinyl upholstery. It is supported by 4 teak taper legs which will unscrew for shipping. If the seat color is not for you. This is a very simply DIY upholstery project that you can do in about 15 min with any style/ color fabric of your choice and a staple gun. measurements 21" wide by 11 5/8" deep by 15" high at the sides(14.5" high in the middle) condition This shows a fair amount of age and ... morewear. Vintage Danish Modern Teak Metal Counter Bar Stool Mid Century
This is a beautiful vintage metal stool with bucket style seat. Footrest and teak legs. The blue fabric is a heavy stain resistant polyester and is in very good shape with just a little discoloration on the back. The seat swivels and have a repositioning spring mechanism. When you get off they nicely spin back into the front position. The chair base is very heavy and all metal with teak coverings on the legs with aluminum trim to protect the tops. The little over 9 inch wide footrest is 6 inches up and the front of the seat is@ 26 inches. The seat is about 14 inches square and appears to be original leather or leather like cover. No loose joints or cracks has little bit of visible wear here and there if you look close. These are in the condition we got them in without any polishing or cleaning. From an estate in NH.
