Vintage Industrial Krueger Metal Shop Chair Drafting Stool
For auction is one vintage Krueger metal shop/drafting stool. It is painted a medium gray color and is upholstered in a bright red vinyl. The entire chair has been completely cleaned and detailed. And the metal base has a nice, shop-worn patina around the footrest. The seat height adjusts from 20" to 26" and is 16" wide by 14" deep. The backrest adjusts out and up. The upholstery is in near-perfect condition, with just a few tiny nicks here and there on the seat, as well as a tiny black mark on the backrest(see photos) A great little shop stool for home, studio or office! The original paint shows some desired wear and loss. The 4 ball socket feet are intact and show a little rust. Seat height adjusting mechanism is complete and does work. Vtg Steel Factory Machine Shop Stool Industrial Age Art Deco Drafting Chair Loft
Vintage Industrial Stool Although this type of stool is adjustable. Some have a double washer locking mechanism inside stand, this one is either down or locks in top position. The height is either 17- 1/2" or 26" Stool seat is 12- 3/4" diameter. The foot print is 22-3/4" square. To get it to go back to bottom position. I must turn stool upside down and grasp base and jiggle, then it slides down. I have not disassembled chair to inspect mechanism inside tube. Some of these stools have a rivet and washer at bottom of tube. This one has a nut. The stool sets level with no rocking. Three of the glides are frozen tight. One spins freely but does not adjust up and down, I have only used my hands, I have not attempted using channel locks or pliers. See pictures for detail.

A great vintage. Mid-century modern, industrial stool on wheels. by Garrett Chrome and Vinyl Estate Find I believe that this is from the 1970's or 1980's. This stool is in great. Great condition. The seat is excellent with no issues. The chrome has very little surface oxidation here and there. Could be rubbed out or left as is. I prefer the little bit of oxidation. It gives the stool character. Picture#4 shows the most accurate color of the stool. An off white. It currently stands 28" tall but it is adjustable. Vintge eames era industrial drafting metal chair stool
For sale is a heavy metal vintage eames era industrial drafting chair/ stool. The chair as pictured measures about 32 inches high to top of back rest and about 13 inches wide(width of seat) However on a chair like this there are three ways you can adjust the dimensions of the chair. First the back of chair can be moved up and down by adjusting the screw on the back and sliding it up or down. Then tightening the screw again. The heighth of the stool section is about 18 inches high as pictured. The height of the legs can be adjusted also to get an additional 4 inches of heighth by unscrewing the screw and replacing it in the slot you want it to be. The back rest can also be adjusted in and out by unscrewing wing nut on bottom and sliding it in or out to level of comfort and then tightening wing nut. Apparently manufactured in the 1st quarter of 1960, as it is marked"1Q60" on top of the base and on the underneath of the seat, The padded vinyl? covering on the seat and tiltable backrest are in excellent condition with no rips or tears, save a 1/8" long puncture to the seat's right front corner area and a 1/4" surface shave that appears did not go through on the other front corner. The casters(wheels) swivel and has some rust that should clean up/off fairly well. The height of the chair seat is adjustable from about 27" up to about 32" The foot rest/ring on the base has an outside diameter of about 18 3/8" and is 12 1/4" up from the floor. V ery well built. Toledo Metal Furniture Company Vintage Adjustable Swivel Drafting Stool This stool is in excellent condition. Considering it's age. Slides up and down smoothly with no difficulty. Floor to base of seat is 22" adjustable up to 30" Swivels smoothly. Seat and back are composite. A bit dusty from storage. This would be a great addition to your shop! The rubber feet have some understandable cracking from aging. As pictured, but they are still in 100% usable condition, firmly attached, not even a hint of coming loose. this is a very unique chair. I actually used it for some time as a computer chair and it was surprisingly comfortable, albeit a bit heavy duty! the legs are squat and very sturdy solid steel, as shown in the picture there is a strange square skirt along the bottom of the seat, i am unsure of its purpose. Also, the back has a butterfly screw and is able to be adjusted higher and lower t fit the individuals back height. I love how the old metal and wood look great industrial piece. It's about 28 1/2" all the way raised up. The adjustment doesn't work but it May just need some oil. Measures approximately 30" tall fully extended and approximately 24" at the lowest setting. The back also adjust up or down. Not reclining) The brown leather or brown faux leather(not certain which it is) isn't in perfect shape. There is spots of blue paint and a small hole in leather in bottom of seat. The back part of seat also has spots of blue paint. It is comfortable and sits well as far as the cushioning goes. Everything works as far as the mechanisms of this chair goes. There is surface wear on the metal areas. This piece came from a printing company in Linn Creek. Mo which has been closed for many years now. Vtg1980's US Made Lyon Swivel Adjustable Steel & Wood Drafting Shop Stool Chair
New old stock from 1983. Made in American by Lyon Metal Products, swivel adjustable height industrial drafting/office stool. Gray steel frame with maple wood seat and back. The seat height will adjust from 20" to 26" high. The height of the seat back will adjust as well. The seat measures 15 1/4" by 15 1/4" the base is 15" by 14" wide. Unused, unsold store stock, dated 1983. In great condition, only very minor signs of age from storage and handling. Light scuffs and marks, a small crack or two in the wood from age. The black plastic knob on the back that adjusts the back rest has been painted gray. The gray paint is starting to chip and peel.
