The iron bases/frames are very strong and have a lot of charecter. They compare in style to many of the iron frame stools I've seen from the 1950's which is when I believe they're from. There is a hole in one of the seats and the back of 3 of the backrests have screw holes or rips visible. They appear to be from removing and replacing them. The seats are stationary, they do not swivel and their cushions are still nice and firm. The frames the real treasure and the set would be very easy to reupholster if desired. Most of the caps on the feet are missing but they are very cheap and easy to replace. The stools measure 40" tall at the backrest and 30" tall at the seat. Arthur Umanoff's 1964 Grenada[sic] Collection for Boyuer Scott is quite possibly the most frequently mis-attributed of all of the Boyuer Scott and Shaver Howard collections. It's vague similarities to Salterini's 1951 Tempestini designed'Scherzo' or'Ribbon' collection coupled with a sum-total lack of available documentation on the Boyuer Scott production has provided ample fodder for error and misattribution even amongst some of the most reputable and scholarly dealers. For your consideration are 3 vintage Arthur Umanoff designed for Raymor stools. They are in good used vintage condition. There are a few minor breaks in the wicker(please see close-up pictures) But the stools still look nice and function properly. The metal is clean, does have a few scratches toward the feet from use(again see pictures) Some of the rubber feet are original, however they do need replaced. They measures 25" high and the seat measures 15.5" x 10" Even with the wear, these are really nice stools. I have three swivel bar stools from the 1950's to 1960's that are a very rare set of Arthur Umanoff designed for Shaver-Howard. These stools have wrought iron frames. Padded seats and 360 degree swivel. Two of the seat backs has a cut-out name: GIN& RYE, the other stool is a unique design. The bar stools are in very good condition with two minor imperfections on the padded seat. Arthur Umanoff started designing for Shaver Howard in 1954, producing the Wrought Iron and Wooded Slat chairs, table bars and bar carts for which he is best known. I am selling these three stools as a group for a very reasonable price. These stools are pick-up only as they are two bulky to ship.

Condition is as follows/ shown: The bench is rock solid and void of breaks. Heavy rust, broken welds, repairs etc.The woven natural fiber seat has some markings/ wear consistent with age/ use(please view pics) but is otherwise void of issues. A rare Arthur Umanoff leather and wrought iron curule style bench probably designed for Raymor. This item is in excellent original vintage condition. The leather is still supple and there is only minimal wear to the finish as expected with age and gentle use. There is a rough hewn quality to the piece as the leather has patina and the joints of the framework are intentionally created to look hand forged with subtle variation.
