Up for your bidding consideration is this very nice and RARE German made Otto Ranz pendulum wall clock. I could find no information on this clock/watchmaker on the internet(Google. Bing, eBay, etc. so I am assuming it to be rare. It is in overall excellent and seemingly original condition,and appears to be complete, but does not run. The case is in very good condition and the finish seems to be original. There does not appear to be any previous repairs done to the wooden case and all glass appears to be original. It does come with a key and the original pendulum. The maker's name plate id affixed to the bottom of the clock's back panel, which can be easily seen in the provided pictures. The clock face and hands are very nice and show proper signs of minor aging. This clock measures about 26" tall and 12" wide. This big clock measures 24.5" tall and 12" across the top of the front. The case is about 4.75" deep. I don't know anything about clocks. This one will run for a minute or so when the pendulum is given a gentle nudge. The clock spring and chime spring are wound tight. You can get the clock fixed or just use it as a decorator piece amid your antiques. It's an eye-catcher. Or salvage the parts here if you're in the clock business. Clock is missing a piece of wood from the bottom of the gallery at ... moretop right that's 2.25" long and is up to.75" wide. Fortunately. This isn't very noticeable. See photos. Wooden staff on pendulum was been broken long ago and a 19th Century repair stitched it back together with wire thread. Case shows soiling and some scuffs and dings. Metal innards. Face is soiled and insect-nibbled. Again. Please examine the photos carefully. Neither of us wants any surprises or disappointment. This is a heavy clock with heavy wood. Some chips on the top layer of wood. In particular on the top near the back, on the front between the face and the bottom glass may have been repaired, a chip on the right side wood by the face, and some scuffs. This could probably be restained and look very nice. Has key and pendulum; but I don't know if it works over the long term. For your consideration is this: Antique Cuckoo Clock Description: This beautifully crafted antique cuckoo clock is approximately 16" tall. 13 1/2" wide, and 6 3/4" thick without the pendulum and chains. The pendulum is approximately 8 1/2" long, and the two chains are each approximately 60" long when at their maximum possible length. The clock face is approximately 6" in diameter. One of the weights is approximately 6" in length and the other is approximately 7" in length. Each side of the clock has a small door that opens to reveal the internal gears. These doors may be used to set the clock. The back panel of the clock may also be removed to access the clock's internal workings. This clock is a masterful piece of woodworking decorated with an ornate wood flower pattern and inlaid wood bars. The ... moreoutside of the clock is almost entirely wood. But the internal gears and workings are metal. This is a gravity powered clock that runs on falling weights. The weights have a pine cone design and appear to be made of cast iron. Beautiful wall clock from R A Germany. Measures 26" tall and 14" wide. Wood case. Glass windows, brass and porcelain face and pendulum. This is an 8 day clock which gongs or chimes once on the half hour, and fully for each hour. Includes a new key. All else is the original. Door swings open, and there is a bit of wear from door, also two tiny areas of missing veneer on one corner of bottom right- see next to last photos. These are the only flaws. Has beautiful patina, and very clean. I just paid $130 to a clock restorer to thoroughly clean and set this clock. Took it home and got it all going, and it kept perfect time(altho this is adjustable, like everything on this clock, if you know how) and chimed correctly- kind of a mid range pleasant chime, not high, not low. Pendulum still has the clear blue protective plastic. Pendulum has been detached and taped to the back simply for shipping purposes. Clock has been tested and is fully functional. This is a beautiful. VERY OLD PENDULUM CLOCK with carved wood frame and back and REVERSE PAINTED GLASS. It's coming from a fine local estate and I've been told this is originally hand-made in Germany or Austria and about 200 years old. I'm unable to see any markings. Dates or numbers on it. Unfortunately the reverse-painted glass on the face is broken and hold together with a plastic support-glass. The mechanism is still working when wounded up with the(included) key for a little while and than it stops. Needs an expert restoration and repair but still a very decorative. Wonderful piece as it is. SIZE: The frame is about 12" high. 10 1/4" wide and 4 1/2" deep. The clock face is about 5" in diameter. The frame has some cracks and paint-chippings. Offering a antique wood regulator clock that seem to work just find. Ran it for over a week before it started loosing a minute or 2. forgot how long it ran so I do not know how many days it ran. It did come from a old clock collector. It is apt 27" high. 12" cross round part an 11" wide at widest part of bottom. Weight is 8 3/4 pounds. The very bottom of the clock is a small tit or knob which look like the very point on it was missing. On the 2 sides are some small post. Up for your consideration is this Western Union Naval Observatory Time square wall clock(circa 1930-1940) made by the Self Winding Clock Company in New York City. We see that this vintage clock is in good condition and intact with its original glass crystal. Hardware and pendulum. The pendulum swings and everything appears to be in working order but we do not have the 1 1/2 volt dry cell batteries required to test this clock so it is being sold as is for restoration. We see that one of the brackets that secures the glass crystal to the front cover is missing(see photos) but that does not effect the stability of the glass and it is safely secured to the front cover. Up for auction is a beautiful Arts& Crafts oak clock with an adjustable metal disk pendulum and brass numbers. A fine example of a turn of the century Mission oak wall clock. It’s a 2-wind clock, has an eight day mechanism, chimes on the hour and has its original winding key. The clock is in very good vintage condition.
